We had a lovely dinner celebrating Father's Day with our family. The staff were fantastic with our kids and made the whole night so enjoyable. We'll be back!

I have been here for meals three times now with groups and friends and every visit has been a pleasure. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The standard of the food is outstanding. The chefs are amazing. Highly recommend

Everything you expect from a pub, good quality and priced food, friendly professional service. Lots of food and drink specials on the menu together with the usual pub meal choices. The snapper was delicious and the parma didn't disappoint. We ordered a side of chips which were hot and crispy. Very nice seating in the bistro area. Will def visit again.

We had a fantastic experience tonight. It was our first time visiting and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The service we experienced was wonderful from the GM to the wait staff. Everyone was professional, thoughtful, warm and accommodating. The food we ordered was delish and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Outstanding food, great selection of beers and wine, highly recommend. Our waiter Andrew was brilliant, nothing too difficult and was good fun to have around.

went for dinner with my boyfriend tonight. Great food, best prices I've come across in a long time and very comfortable seating in the public bar. But I must say, the service was one of the best I've experienced at a pub. We were served by Nick. made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed/wanted. He was lovely to chat to and was interested in everything we were talking about. 10/10 service. Will definitely be back when Nick is there again!

Visited for an evening meal for just two people. The rooms and outlook of the bistro are inviting and very comfortable and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the food and service were disappointing. One main meal was served almost cold, and the other came out about 20 minutes later and was too hot to eat. It seemed like the order was mixed up in the kitchen, but no one acknowledged the mistake. We had staff bring food to our table that we didn't order, which again indicated that the process of ordering and serving food isn't great.
Quality of the food we ordered (particularly the meat and fish) wasn't good for the price.
I hope the venue can do better in future, but we won't be going back any time soon.

1 down fall it's hard to rearrange the plate to your liking as they don't allow any options to change your meal if you don't want or like something on the plate .

Other then that it was a very pleasant yummy experience
And I'd return ...

I am a local and a senior and it is great to bring my friends to this lovely pub for a meal. I think like most places it's getting a bit pricey for the mains outside of the seniors and lunch menus but we love coming here for a nicely cooked and presented meal with lovely service from the friendly and helpful staff. Please don't change anything, you are doing a great job!

Not overly impressed with the service. Transaction stuff up and not getting our dessert as part of the Christmas meal. I was mad to feel infearier by the manager and was told we need to pay for the desserts that we didn't get.
Most likely the manager will rebut this review.
Besides that the actual meals we had were nice. But won't be coming back again and will be letting my friends and family know not to come back as well.

A group of us did Xmas in July last Friday night at the Greensborough Hotel and it was awesome. Food was excellent, service great, a very happy experience. Andrew behind the bar was really lovely as was the young lady looking after our table. A great way to start a weekend. Highly recommended.

Well tonight Big Boy & The Lady went to Greensborough Hotel for dinner. Well this was seriously dangerous "Why You Ask" it was truly amazing meal. We had lunch here today. We ate from the Seniors Menu and the meals were excellent. Best roast lamb I've had for a very long time. The soup and sweet we had were also delicious and good value. Excellent efficient friendly service from Alex made for a great experience.

After a renovation this is now a great place to dine although the meals prices are at the upper end of the price range for a pub meal.
The service was excellent and the meal choices were good as well as being well presented.
Serving size was average which along with the price is the reason for a 4 star.
Parking can be a little difficult as well as the shopping centre takes most of the parking and there's not much street parking available.

One of the few remaining pubs that isn't taking the piss.

You are looking at $16-$20 a parma, depending on how fancy you want it.

$6-$9 schooners, depending how fancy you want it.

Utter value, and the food is pretty good as well.

It's not 72 tap craft beer hall fancy, but you have some options other than Northern, Carlton or VB. A happy middle ground.

What a great venue. We haven't been here for 4-5 years. The bistro has had an extensive refurbishment and looks great with a warm atmosphere. The food was generously portioned and well presented. Andrew was very attentive and we felt very comfortable. We will return again soon.

Food servings are huge, highest of quality and staff are all really nice. You can see they are aiming high with everyone and they certainly deliver an excellent bistro alround.
Definitely give them a go.

Food and drink are... just ok to be honest. Monday night trivia is a bit flat - not because of the host, they did an amazing job! But the vibe is lacking in the front bar, the range of beers inside is severely lacking too. The drive through bottle shop is impressive though, great range of beers that are constantly cycling through to being new things in. Wines are decent too.

Awesome place, love eating dinner here with the missus. There's a bloke here that's very friendly and recognizes us each time and he's awesome. Pictured below is the Vegan Lasagna and Porterhouse Steak. Both mains were delicious and well priced. Favourite place in Greensborough to get dinner :)

Being a local, Greensborough Hotel is very convenient. Really enjoy the food. But super impressed by the staff! Special shout out to Andrew. He is amazing with the kids and super friendly. Even took the time to have a quick chat to my elderly Father in law. Nothing is too much trouble.

Dinners were great until they changed the menu a few months ago. Senior meals are now very small, and tasteless, and the price has gone up. Also feels like there is a new chef in the kitchen.

Many thanks to Ely and staff for their wonderful service in accomodating 17 of us from the Rosanna gym last night. After a slightly shaky start, we couldn't have been happier with the outcome and we will definitely be back. The venue proved a huge success and we have decided, if you'll have us, to come back with an even bigger group.Merry Christmas to all.

Wonderful food at really good prices. Best of all, excellent service by Alex. We were superbly attended by him. We also had a four year old with us, who loved his little bag of colouring in book and crayons

Staff were friendly and customer service was great. Had duck spring rolls for entree and they were great and highly recommended. For main I had the chicken schnitzel it wasn't great with most of the crumbs falling off and the chicken being a little dry. My partner had the lamb shank which was delicious, soft, tender and full of flavour. A little bit pricey for pub food but I would return just not for the schnitzel

Great food, not cheap, but good quality meals. Nice venue and staff were great. A good spot for a family get together. Unlike other venues we weren't hurried or the door at 9.30pm either. Highly recommend!!

Went there on a Tuesday night to celebrate a birthday.
Around 150 patrons in bistro.
Great range of options on the menu for kids, diet restricted people and the rest of us.
Good variety of meals all well priced and sensible serving sizes.
Nice decor and very comfortable.

I went there for a business meeting during the day. Weekdays, the lounge area is quiet, and conducive for detailed discussions,and the tables large enough to lay out some work. We only wanted coffee to drink during our meeting, and the attendant had difficulty understanding our order for 2 large "flat whites". All credit to him he did try!!! Parking in and around the hotel is in short supply!

Very clean and well spaced out seating. Most of the staff wear their masks properly but there was at least one wearing his mask on his chin. You can't expect customers to wear masks at the bar if your staff can't. There were advertisements on the table for $15 parmas but that was only for rhe bar downstairs which seems like a strange place to advertise that deal. The food came pretty quickly and was good but it's a little on the expensive side for some of the dishes they serve.

Great food and service once again from James and Andrew but understandably slower than usual due to the fact they were the only two staff on for a public holiday. Disappointing that we're charged extra for dining on a public holiday but no extra staff employed. I wonder why??$$$$

I had a small wake at this hotel for My Dad A few weeks ago. All I can say is Shirley was so amazing during this really sad and hard time she absolutely went above and beyond to make the afternoon so lovely. She suggested using the Parma Bar selection and it was so good!!! Everyone loved their meals. We loved the intimate space downstairs for a drink and a Parma and a send off for Dad. Thank you Thank you to all the staff for making it so special from the bottom of my heart♥️

Tried the Greensborough hotel for the first time and we were so impressed!!! Having never been inside before the venue itself is beautiful. Our meals were 10/10, one of the best lamb shanks I've ever had and hubby had the burger which he also said was delicious. The kids meal was also good and a decent portion. Our waitress Shirley was wonderful too. We will definitely be back!

Small section of chicken parma was raw. Not slightly undercooked, actually raw. We were polite about it and got our money back. Unacceptable.We won't be back. Cut through your chicken to see if it's cooked properly before eating.

Wonderful meal in the bistro; food was delicious and plentiful so compliments to the Chef. Great service from Shirley and Rebecca. Wine selection available by the glass was impressive and enjoyed a King Valley shiraz.
