Very fast service and communication between kitchen and bar staff was A1. Well done. Been coming here for years but Bridgette was the best server yet. Splendid job. Will be back again for sure .

Ava, Once again you and your staff have gone above and beyond in catering for our function this afternoon. You always make it such a joy to attend your Golden Beach Tavern. I only wish ALH could bottle you and sprinkle you over their other establishments. The food towers were wonderful as were the cocktails and mocktails.

First time visiting the area and came across the Golden Beach Tavern. Brilliant meals and good value for money. Cedric the waiter was polite and ensured we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back. ??'?🏽

We had a lovely birthday dinner at Golden Beach Tavern The staff were all amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. We had a table of 8. All of our meals came out in a timely manner and all together. The meals were delicious. Compliments to the Chef. I had the lamb which was cooked to perfection. The manageress was over at our table consistently making sure everything was in order.
Definitely the best pub in Caloundra.
Have been many times and never disappointed with the food or the service.

My family and I ordered ribs, pizza, steak, Gnocchi, Caesar salad, and a burger. All of their dishes were excellent. Not to mention one of their staff, Maddy, Ty, who provided great customer service. It's delightful to be treated by all the staff as if we were at home.

Booked in for my baby shower, GBT did not disappoint, ordered 2 platters (vegetarian option & fried) looked fantastic and tasted amazing! The table was set up beautifully thank you so much for all the effort that was put into decorating my table! Staff were great and couldn't fault my experience! Will be back thank you! 🫶🏾

We travel with 3 children and have eaten here many times. Great venue and awesome food. All the staff very patient and accommodating towards our family. Especially Chelsea T went beyond expectations for hospitality services and Loz at the bar.

I had my baby shower on the deck/lawn and it was perfect!!!! Such a nice big space. The little kids were happy running around and playing on the lawn and in the sand pit. The venue manager Ava was an absolute god send!! She made the day flow so beautifully and exceeded my expectations. Her initiative and attentiveness to ensure we were taken care of was spot on.
We ordered a bunch of canapés, I personally didn't eat any of the food but alot of my guests were saying how delicious it was. And the platters were presented beautifully.
I would highly highly recommend this venue for your function. The only thing that was bothersome was other random patrons were walking through my event as an entrance or exist from the tavern. Even though Ava made these beautifully themed signs on the gates and doors that said it was a private event some people just ignored them or didn't pay attention to them. No fault at all of the venue! But other than that the day was absolutely perfect!

We really enjoy the meals we frequently have at The Tavern while in Caloundra.
As well as the meals and service always being very good, it's a bonus to be able to take our little fur baby with us.
The staff have always been very attentive, and has always offered a bowl of water for our cavoodle.

The place looks nice but the food was a different story. Roast of the day consisted of cold vegetables, cold roast pork, cold gravy and hot roast pumpkin and potatoes. Sorry guys but you need to so better.

Great family venue. Kids' area is exceptional - low rock climbing and sand pits with dinosaur bones!

Firstly there is Chelsea! She goes above and beyond good service. Chelsea is friendly, efficient, recalls frequent and non frequent guests, and caters for kids. Although the menu recently changed there are many great meal options available. I usually go with a senior and kids and I like the variety for both age groups. This is one of the few pubs with more than 5 meals to choose from and that allows a salad option instead of chips for kids!

We had a table of 12 and ordered our meals before everyone else at our table. We waited over 1.5 hours to get our food but our friends who got their orders first were the ones to order. Not the other way around.

How does a salad take this long? The food was amazing and the staff were friendly however they need to run their meals system better. They need to put there orders through buy the time the order is placed.

We were going to cancel our order and get a refund but the food came out in the nick of time.

Maybe next time they will have a better system.

Great service and speedy with meals. We had steaks and a pizza last night, steaks were cooked to perfection. The pizza was delicious and enough to take home for lunch the next day!
Went back again and had the chicken burgers, so so good!
Staff are very lovely and willing to assist. Highly recommend.

Awesome food. Really enjoyed the night. Well went again and really dissapointed ordered the lamb and sweet potato pie and it was burnt not alot of sweet potato on top. Yes i did mention it to waitress no help.. steak was under cooked and portion size was shocking 😲 .

Excellent customer service, the staff is super friendly and the food is consistently incredible. BIG love to Chrissy, Naomi and Ella for always making it a great experience and remembering my go-to drink order off by heart 🥹 Chrissy makes a mean chilli margarita and I'll definitely be back again soon for more

To conclude our trip from Sunshine Coast, we have our meal at Goldern Beach Traven. I love their décor and plants around the Traven. Meals are excellent, and our kids love them - also, an outdoor play area for kids.

I attended the Melbourne Cup Day luncheon today, and it didn't disappoint. It was a fabulous day out to frock up and enjoy beautiful food and fun company. The staff were brilliant, available when needed and did what they could to make sure that everyone had an enjoyable time. The atmosphere was great and the host for the day was wonderful. Fun games and fashions on the deck. Thanks GBT!

Love the table ordering capability, no worries on splitting bills etc and very quick service from the bistro. The ladies had the seniors menu which they love the choices to be able to mix and match what they want and all reasonably priced.
Plenty of options on the main menu and great indoor and outdoor seating as well as separate bar and dining areas, all very clean and presentable. Will definitely be back ðŸ'

Very nice atmosphere and happy that they had the blinds down in the outdoor area because it was a cold day.
Was happy to try the new idea that you could order your drinks and food at the table with a scan but think you should be allowed to use savings account and not get charged a fee.
We all had Seniors meals which were very nice and was enough food without feeling overfull.
We are very happy that our friends took us here and would certainly go again. ??'???'?

Absolutely devine food and friendly service.
Lamb shanks, melt in your mouth accompanied by creamy mash, definitely a must have. Great steak sandwich and well cooked chips. Large portion sizes. Sticky date pudding was just yum!

Absolutely amazing meal. The best and I mean THE BEST Steak Sandwich I have ever eaten and the most amazing friendly staff Yvie was amazing and very helpful, very very happy with this restaurant/pub/motel will most definitely return. A+ guys you have an amazing team working for you

Such a great Tavern. The service was wonderful and so friendly. The new menu is something to try. We had schnitzel, lamb shank and fish and chips and all I could say is compliments to the chef. The food was well cooked and hot when it arrived at our table. The table was cleared when we had finished eating while we were still there which was great. This is definitely a place I would go back to when holidaying in Caloundra. They also have accommodation on site if needed. Close to town.

We LOVE this venue!!! I work for one of there hotels, and we love everything about this hotel that we keep coming back. Great new menu. Weve been twice in one week.
Ribs are an absolute stand out.

Immaculate room and friendly helpful cleaning staff. Love the tiled pool, apparently built in the 1930s. We were so impressed we stayed an extra night.

Fantastic food, great service, very quick to get our meals to us. The atmosphere is awesome and its freshly renovated, family friendly as well. We also stayed in their motel, great clean modern refurbished rooms, good night rate.

Very good venue for dining, family friendly. Good food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff although a bit understaffed for a Sunday lunch on long weekend.
