Disgusting behaviour from the bar staff when refusing to serve my sober husband for the sole reason "he's had enough" yeah... Enough of his neurological and physical disabilities due to life saving spinal cord surgery. But they basically told us to F off, with security even apologising. Now they've deleted his very raw and honest review. Not to mention there's NO wheelchair ramps or disability sensitivity. For our local, it's just pathetic. Don't go here if you're even remotely "not normal"

It was a hot day, thought I would grab lunch and a cold beer. The restaurant staff grunted at me as an indication I was bothering them for some insignificant reason, the reason being my lunch. Bar tender did a little better when my beer was served. When I asked for salt and pepper I unfortunately interrupted the guy who looked like the cook, I copped a stink eye for disturbing his social media browsing, followed by a grunt of indignation and a gesture towards the sachets right in front of me, maccas style.
This pub has nothing to make it stand out or be memorable, decor, staff friendliness or whatever can't see any reason to return.

But of an old school local. By which I mean you'll stand out if you're not a regular.

The bar staff were fine, but I wouldn't use friendly to describe them. Same goes for bistro staff.

Ok selection of beers, something for most.

Food was ok.. steak was cooked per my order and vege and mash was fine.
Fried cauliflower was meh. Wouldn't recommend it. Florets were soft, not crisp from frying and the hummus was very dry textured with a bland flavour which just made it taste odd.

Other meals served looked good with good serving sizes. Standard pub fare.

Moderate to higher price points but discounts if you're a member of their PubLinc program.

Beer garden is very noisy, the majority of which appears to be smoking with a small section outdoors near the exit designated as non smoking.

Casual local pub with reasonable prices. Popular place to watch sports (and many pokies). They have a good range of craft and regular beers. Also they have a membership which is free and gets you cheaper food and drinks, which I will make use of in the future.

Food was good. Not like fancy pub food but yum, filling and classic.

The barramundi special with grilled beans, brocalini, baby carrots and chat potatoes was the best pub meal we have had for ages. Staff were efficient and super friendly. Exceeded our expectations. We will be back to try more...

What can you say. It is a nice pub with a decent range of beers. Friendly staff. The beer garden has too many smokers.

Haven't set foot in Glady for a number of years. New management have cleaned the place right up. Dinner was excellent paired with friendly genuine staff. Highly recommend led if your looking for good quality pub grub.

Low key, friendly staff, traditional Aussie pub, with a good house rose . Been a few times and the food is consistently excellent - even better than your usual pub fare!!

Hadn't been here for over a year, they must have changed hands in the Kitchen. Ordered the Parmi, which was terrible, also the Monday steak special, equally as bad. Disappointing, I came a year ago and the food was amazing.

Ok pub, renovated and tidy, well located, though a minimal selection of local craft beer, strong smell of chemical deodoriser. It is, however, extremely overpriced - in May 2023 a pint of Asahi was $17 plus card surcharge! Local craft brewery was 9.60 for a pint of local craft beer during happy hour.

Solid little local pub. Has all the staples with the exception of a pool table.

Restaurant/ bistro is really good, indoor dining as well. Outdoor space needs a little bit of a spruce up

Very friendly locals pub. Probably not a place to travel to from far away, especially if you're after frills, but nice, chilled vibes and super friendly locals who will often chat to you if you want company, or leave you alone if you want to be left alone.

What a sad little pub , it's like geriatrics anonymous in there . The food menu is so expensive and ordinary. The decor ....maybe a upgrade from the 80's. No personality no soul ....the owner is a complete flog ??????

The food is so good here, always well seasoned and the chicken schnitzel is always super delicious! I recommend the chicken tacos as well.

Several bars, lots of beers including US west coast-style IPA. We just had beer - Balter XPA for me and an Australian pale ale for husband. Sat inside - not bad atmosphere in main bar. Outside would have been nicer (rooftop tables). Snacks for sale in vending machine in sports bar. Restaurant available but we didn't try. Nice gin collection - will have to try next visit

I should have gone with the schnitzel as it was only a dollar more but no, for some reason, I decided to choose the beef nachos. My bad. It really was not worth the $24 that I paid for it.

I got schmear of beef mince and bean (barely enough to cover a handful of chips), a dollop of sour cream and guacamole dip, a bit of melted cheese, a tonne of salty corn chips, all topped with a revolting supermarket Doritos style dip sauce, which the server tried to convince me was made in the kitchen.

I left most of the meal. It was a thoroughly unpleasant experience I won't be repeating anytime soon.

The lady at the bar upstairs for the busy gig was fantastic. She gave amazing service even with disrespectful patrons. She was friendly & went above & beyond. Girl deserves a raise, thanks so much lovely! You're doing fab.

I've only been living in Dully for just under a year and have come to really enjoy the Gladstone being my local. It has a great friendly atmosphere, nice beer garden and the staff know how to have a good time. I bring my greyhound with me occassionally and the staff are so accommodating, making sure he has water and giving him lots of pats. Really have to give it to the staff for being the highlight, it's always a great time at the Gladdy.

The place was clean, modern and warm. My green tea was massive, so that was nice. The bar tender who made it for me was friendly and helpful. The burger was delicious but the order was taken by someone who was either having a bad day, bored out of her brain or had something else going on because she was like a zombie and made no effort except to punch in numbers and tell me how much it was.

Since its recent Sale, the food menu has gone downhill in a VERY big way, in both quality and quantity (value for money) ...
At first after the sale, the original kitchen staff were there, so it was easy to see that the new owners put the "squeeze" on them ... but now there seems to be a complete new kitchen staff (and no longer an AWESOME Greek food based menu that was ALWAYS awesome), so explains why the quality has dropped IMMENSELY.

Food is very very average.
The trout salad should be called a cabbage salad. All cabbage and little bits of trout and not much else.
Pepper/mushroom sauce are pretty much the same just with added peppercorns and mushroom, but very watery and tasteless

Lovely place. Good Greek menu. Enjoyed the food a lot. Easy to get to via public transport.

We went for a meal. Overpriced for a pub meal, and the quality was average at best. I order the Chicken Schnitzel and stable in these venues, it looked big, but the Schnitzel was so thin it was like fried crumbed bread. Hard to recommend. The Hotel/bar was clean and tidy and well presented. Not a good value proposition.

Great little Pub with an AWESOME Bistro / Restaurant. Tuesday Nights they have live entertainment. Excellent outdoor area, games room etc.....

This hotel is a real rabbits Warren and has been added to over the years. Bathrooms really need upgrading as does the public bar. Security are a bit aggressive at times .. the prices for what's on offer are too high. In its favour, the bar staff are well trained and friendly.
