The food was delicious and the staff friendly. It was a surprising find. It is huge, but the rooms remarkably cosy. Well worth the visit.

Unfortunate experience for my mothers birthday, the staff were lovely but the food was below average. My lamb shank had gelatinous stock on it rather than a rich tasty red wine sauce and my mother's roast pork was dry, the vegetables were hard. Neither could finish our meals.

Frankston RSL brilliantly hosted our Season Awards event last Saturday & once again it was a perfect function. Smoothly handled by the RSL team from the very beginning of planning the event, right through to execution. Great facility, food, service & attention.
We look forward to next years event already!

Sadly this venue has changed a lot recently, somewhat due to a front desk staff member who seems to be overseeing , criticising and speaking sharply to members. Front desk should be staffed by friendliest and most welcoming staff, in my opinion. Meals have become a bit ordinary and noise seems to be getting more intolerable when dining.

Sadly, for what is a beautiful venue, my evening was left somewhat short. The staff bar couldn't get our drink orders correct, except one lovely blonde lady. I was the only person all night who was drinking lemon, lime, and bitters with rum, yet no 2 glasses of my drink were the same. Some got lemon in them, some got lime, and some got none. Not once did i get both, nor were they juiced into my glass. I couldn't even get the same style of glass between drinks because the staff kept changing the rules on what size glass I could order.

As far as food went, it was lovely. The atmosphere was great, given it Carlton vs. Collingwood, just a shame about the inconsistent service of drinks

Good meals

Seniors meal was excellent value. Huge carpark, but it fills quickly at lunchtime, so it's better to get there early. Some staff spoke in a condescending way to white-haired customers. Most of us are not deaf or lost our marbles, and we would like to be treated the same as those half our age. Other than that, it was a great venue.

First time at this RSL and probably the last. The service was excellent but the food was below average and was bland.
This place was highly recommended by my work colleagues but it didn't live up to expectations.
I had burger the same as other friends on my table and it wasn't toasted, it was sloppy and was warm, the chips were cold and much less then the other friend's plate.
Very disappointing, I have been to other RSLs and am a member also but wasn't happy here.

Wasn't impressed with the food, we had chicken scallopini and the chicken was very dry. The entertainment on the other hand Single Income were awesome.

Susan, Brian and the Frankston RSL team put on a really special night for Langwarrin Soccer Club. The night was effortlessly planned and organised and held with absolute professionalism. From the light package, food through to the security and bar staff, we couldn't fault the preparation and execution for the night. On behalf of the Langwarrin Soccer Club committee, thank you for your support Frankston RSL.

We, the four of us enjoyed the evening at Frankston R.S.L. The venue has a good layout, nicely spaced seating, plenty of well lit parking. Wines and meals were well priced, and delivered to our table hot and well presented. I had the Veal Shank which was flavoursome with a nice glass of red. Good wheelchair access inside and booking is recommended.

Lovely RSL, unfortunately, not very good acoustics, not a lot of people but very noisy.
The food was nice, but there was no seniors' meals on the weekends.
The meal was too big for me.
My friends' meals looked nice, but fries weren't the best. Otherwise, pleasant visit.

Thank you Frankston RSL, went for a dinner tonight, ordered roast beef and by the time we got a drink the roast was on the table. It was magnificent, so tender and cooked to perfection. Also staff were so friendly. Great to see you back flying after Covid. Keep it up!!

One of the best RSL l have been in todate . Just been for 2nd time to the RSL and thay outdid them self. The meals were fantastic.

Delicious food and great place to catch up with friends. We hadn't been here in ages but had a lovely experience.the playground and seats outside were great for the kids and all meals arrived together which was wonderful. Front of house staff were so helpful too.

I attended the talk by the crime writer Vikki Petraitis at the RSL
The venue had allocated seating which made finding our seats quick and easy. Sadly at times, we couldn't hear Vikki that well! The staff are fantastic and very helpful but the security guy was extremely rude over a bottle of water I bought with me.

Hit and Miss.
Seriously, it's a Hit and Miss. Sometimes food comes out quickly, sometimes food come out like they had to go catch a chicken, slaughter and prepare it. Sometimes food is warm, cold or hot. You never know.

I need Gluten Free and am sensitive to Lactose. Menu, has so good options but fail to deliver on what is described on there menu.

I've had the calamari all clumped together,(I did have cramps after eating so not sure how they prepared them) and last night's meal was ment to be drizzled with honey youghurt. See the pic and see if that's a drizzle. It was awful mean, lamb was over done, Iand for $27 was poor form.

Rest of the family had Parmas which are HUGE! They enjoyed there's besides the gravy having no flavour. People described it as brown water.

Tables around were sending food back, lots of people chasing up items of food they haven't received. Table next to us sent back a cold steak, his wife's mean was hot and tastey. Seriously it's a Hit and a miss.
Play ground is okay for the kids however they had tables of 2 right in front of it with just adults and no kids, didn't feel very safe.

I always hate going there, but some people love I. I guess you decided when you go.

Good. Just maybe advise diners to choose a table first before they stand in line to order, to avoid having to join the back of an even longer line next time. Food was OK, calamari were warm/cold

On Friday 9th September my fiancé and I went to Frankston RSL. We were welcomed by Maureen. Kiana and Darcy served us and Dean prepared/cooked our food. Chicken Parma and Pork Roast with Gravy, Chocolate Mud Cake with Cream, Sticky Date Pudding with Butter Scotch Sauce and Ice cream, Lemon, Lime and Bitters. We met Michael who was happy to hear that we enjoyed the food and customer service. We would highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

Hi everyone. As we all know or should know The RSL is a wonderful organization and to be supported by many. There is always a lovely ambiance. Food is excellent and we have eaten at various RLS in Australia. We are social members of the beautiful RSL in Frankston - Victoria and, we eat there regularly. Also, do take other guests as well. Whether you have a meal at the Bistro or some Coffee and cakes or sandwiches at the Coffee Shop area , you will be delighted to be served quality food. Nice clean venue, friendly staff, & yummy food. Like that there is different areas to sit with friends - a meal in the bistro, coffee at Cafe or a social drink in the Sports bar.
Only issue was service was a bit slow - having tables cleared & whilst ordering meals & at bar - but we will be back again 🙂
(A few people were being disrespectful during The Ode but that's on them not venue)

The RSL was exceptional in regard to the staff were friendly and very quick to sanitising tables, chairs and bench seats very thoroughly. The service was excellent and so was the food. It was a great start to having lunch and a very relaxing time spent with my daughter and 6 week old grandson. My daughter was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and hygiene, due to having a new bub. 5 STARS 🌟 To all the staff. Would definitely recommend and go back to the venue.

Great place to go for a evening meal with the wife.. the menu is excellent and the Renovations have made this place fantastic.
So much to do and the food prices are good for the Members. Nice place to have a chat to the locals.

I've been here a few times over the years but last night was the worst meal I think I've ever been served. I ordered the seafood risotto and the rice was nowhere near cooked and was still crunchy and watery. Overall it was also tasteless. I was in a large group and didn't want to return it as it would have meant another meal long after everyone had finished.

I did love going here. The lunch menu was varied, catering for most of the whims I've had in ordering lunch. Pasta, surf, turf, salads dishes, stir fry and stews The staff are extremely well trained so that their customer service was top quality. We had lunch and drinks and stayed well beyond the usual lunchhour timeframe. Rest rooms were very clean and well stocked with hand wash. You must walk past gambling machines to get to the restaurant, which was a revolting aspect of enticing addicts into the habit - or back into it.
I'll happily go back to the restaurant.

Broad menu, friendly & timely service.The renovations have resulted in a good pub area, dining area, coffee shop & spacious pizza/bar area.Well worth becoming a member.

Had a really lovely meal here. Pizza is wood fired and just gorgeous. Staff are so nice and helpful and make sure you are well looked after. Prices are very reasonable. Will 100% come back again.

The lady at the entry at 11:55am was unfriendly and aggressive. I think she may have been the wrong kind of staff member to greet people. The food was good and the other service was friendly. Love the playgrounds for the kids

We have visited here twice in recent weeks. Two out of the three meals on each visit were acceptable .The other meals not good ,not good at all. Service was friendly and atmosphere was good. I liked the hand sanitizer on the table. Great idea.

Great size meals, really friendly staff our kid went walkies and they all offered to help find him. 3 different kids play areas. Lots of war memorabilia and pokies for all you gamblers out there

Had a nice family get together of 10 people there recently for lunch. Staff were friendly during our visit. They were very apologetic when they forgot to bring out one meal. Food was reasonable.
