The worst pokies in Sydney. You are guaranteed to lose all your money there.

I walked past this pub and decided to stop for a pint. As soon as I opened the door I noticed a group of older white men were staring at me walking in, a bit weird but whatever. The staff were friendly enough, the pint was nice and cold but the pub itself was quite... Sad? Not desperate to come back.

It is a mediocre normal pub, with no seats outside though. We, a few ladies, went there one weekday afternoon and it was full of old guys looking at us there, made us a bit uncomfortable tbh, we didn't order food just some drinks wasn't bad.

The pub and bottleshop really took a hit after COVID. Customer service went downhill, and the gaming area was a letdown. It's a shame, but maybe it's time for them to consider shutting down.

I was racially profiled twice, by the Asian staff, who came up to me and said, "You need to show me your ID because you're on our self exclusion list" loudly, so everyone could hear....
So I told her, "just because I'm a white woman, doesn't mean we're all the same person". I wasn't even the same ethnicity, as the woman on their list, just had my hair in a bun and was white. That was enough for the dumb POS to harass me and try to embarrass and humiliate me, in public, just because she is a dumb loser...
If a white person did that to an Asian, the Asian would sue the club, for racially profiling them. Dumb, low IQ staff, with no common sense. They all need to be retrained and taught some logic and human skills and should apologize for their mistakes, instead of doubling down on their mistake and aggravating customers, even more, simply because they can't acknowledge they made a mistake...
I'd give it zero stars, if I could... Manager should sack the Asian who interrogated me on purpose, just because she wanted to be nasty ...

The VB on tap was the best l had in years was going down very well,nice and sweet.

Made the mistake of thinking this was an old school nice pub with meals. Walked in via the "[---] room" entry aka Pokies room and it smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Walked through to the bar,.looking for a bistro, only to be told there wasnt one..A dozen old men drinking in the seedy bar area with tall tables and stools only. It had the atmosphere and patrons of a TAB outlet. Never again. Had a lovely meal at the RSL instead.

Good beer. Good service. Restrooms not so good.

Nice place in downtown Five Dock to drink some tap beer and play the pool ?.

Cold beers but machines were tight better luck next time

It really does need an update and reno with great potential to create an Inner West - Surry Hills type steakhouse pub and bistro. I enjoy the occasional beer there to unwind.

The guy didnt even greet or look at me he was on his phone.i said thanks. No reply or a look. This guy shouldn't work in customer service. I wanted to give zero star but couldn't. Not sure if this place changed hands was my go to bottleshop. Never again will i shop here.

Don't normally leave feedback or reviews as it take a lot for someone to offend or ruin my day, however this Wednesday, the staff did not acknowledge me, offer any help, never smile and was very rude as i was paying. Will never go there again and will tell ten of my friends that are locals This shop have gone down hill very fast.

Really poor service by the bartender - she was frowning and grunting to take my order as she couldn't hear properly over the voice of other patrons. Was a pretty hot headed woman.

Really, really friendly staff. Ambiance is sports bar but too open and there's not really any viable option or place to have a cosy chat over a beer.

Extremely disappointing to say the least!Its been a long while since I visited this pub and unfortunately it will be the last time I do.The place is pretty grubby, they may be undergoing renovations, Im not sure but in general it was pretty grubby lookingThe bar person was not hospitable at all, in fact I would go as far as saying he was pretty rude.It appeared that he was either having a bad day, doesnt like his job or just doesnt like people. Not a great attitude for a job hospitality.He was not friendly or engaging what so ever!Staff are the key to any successful business and unfortunately in this case that is what has led to this poor review!My friends and I certainly wont be going back or recommending this place.You need to pick up your game!

The indian man over charged me 2 times in a week when the wine had specials on them this man is a scam he will over charge you and act all normal stands around like a tree. Never again will i be coming back to this bottleshop again. DISGUSTING

As the poker machine popularity decreases lesser customers are present... Kind of empty or half full.

This pub is easily a leading contender for the worst pub in NSW. No wonder why it is always empty.If you want to give away all your money and time go to this pub and you will certainly be satisfied very quickly.Don't go there to play machines. Possibly one of the worst places in Sydney to win at. Very poor returns.I am very sure that the RTP of their machines is bordering on being illegal.Now I appreciate & understand why I lived in Five Dock for a number of years, yet I never went to this local pub not even once during that time.
