The saddest steak Diane I've ever had (photo below. Where is the sauce? Great question). Pasta was frozen and badly reheated. Expensive and sad food. Absolutely horrible and rude service. You'll feel like an inconvenience if you ask basic questions like "where is the rest of the food we ordered?"

Badly maintained property, grass overgrown. Shows how little they care. There are so many better options in the area.

1st time since refurbishment. Staff were lovely & accommodating.
Food was great.
Price was reasonable.
We went for lunch yesterday and it was lovely.
The only negative - air-conditioning was not that cool. We felt a little warm while dining.
But will be back again. Overall great experience.

Celebrated my birthday here. Highly recommend this place. Venue is massive room for big families and kids.

Ordered individually and very impressed that all meals came out together. Good food all round at good prices and portions were generous.

Staff are excellent. Very customer focused and ensure a great time, service is excellent.

Bar prices are good. Eat in the restaurant or the dining room. Nicely decorated throughout.

It's a rip off. No amount of nice decorations can take away from the fact they charged us $13.50 for some hot chips that were so small we had to get a second for the kids. It's not worth it, even for the kid friendly stuff they have. Complete RIP OFF, won't return.

We were a group of 8. Food was absolutely incredible and authentic. All locally sourced. The staff went above and beyond for us. The atmosphere and detail of this bowling club is insane. We all will be returning in the near future. 10/10.

The manager of this place has no idea.
I booked an event for a group of 40 people plus kids. I spoke with him 3 times on the phone and 3 times in person. Today I went there again to confirm what decorations I could have and how the tables would be set up. The manager did not remember me booking it, couldn't remember the date, how many people. He was so unprofessional. He advised if outside and it rains too bad, he wouldn't be moving us inside. He would not allow us to move two tables together. Or have chairs on the ends of the tables. Every question was no, can't do that can't do this. Because of his rude and mismanaged attitude, we outright walked away and have decided one week out to take our group of 40 + else where. I hope the owner realises that his manager cost him thousands of dollars on food and the bar. DO NOT book a function here, you will be stressed to the Max and won't be treated with any respect what's so ever.

Just had dinner here with a group of five. Brilliant food with generous portions! All the food was great and the desserts were amazing!
Wonderful location and beautifully set up! Will be coming back for drinks at the bar and outside.
I don't know why people have been complaining about prices. They seem reasonable. $25 for a pizza is reasonable anywhere in Sydney these days.

Beautiful looking place, food bit pricey, must say that portions are a good size. 3 people $215, entrees and main. Only one drink of alcohol. Food didn't take too long to come out.
Very noisy though as it was starting to fill up.
It seems to attract families with kids, way too noisy. Lots of staff on the floor, it was a Saturday night. Not really keen to rush back there again. Just ok.

Food was top notch! The dough on the prosciutto pizza was so soft and one of the best I've had. Yes it wasn't the cheapest, but the food was well worth and matched the price. Definitely will go back again.

Beautiful food, good service and a wonderful atmosphere. Nice park and city views. Done a very good job with the renovation. Service will improve as the team collegiately improves. Our night was about $45.00 per person.

We've been looking forward to this place opening for ages and weren't sure what to expect after hearing that it was overpriced. It's not cheap but where is these days? The food was delicious, great quality, there was heaps of variety and really reasonably sized servings. We just ordered mains and that was enough for us. The staff were really attentive and did their best to ensure we enjoyed our experience. Shame it's not dog friendly but other than that, it's a great addition to Five Dock.

I am super upset at Canada bay council for allowing this overpriced restaurant to be opened on our community land, this land belongs to all the residents of our community , not just the wealthy.
... I live across the road , but can not see myself returning until a new operator takes over.

As locals we (2 friends and I) thought we'd try the bowling club as it's only a stones throw from our houses. The prices are ridiculous and the packet pasta does not constitute the cost. The staff are pleasant but definitely inexperienced. The black & white uniform with vests are a little outdated and looks a little pretentious. The desert was probably the best dish, passionfruit sorbet in dark chocolate casing, very nice but at $15 you'd expect more than 1 small scoop. The restaurant was fairly empty for a Friday night, possibly 10 tables out of more than 50 were being used. I feel that the prices are what's keeping locals away as it's not somewhere you can go last minute for a meal cos you have to save up just to eat a meal there. With so many other Italian restaurants in five dock & neighbouring suburbs that are more authentic and better priced, the bowling club definitely falls short!! $450 for 3 people to eat and drink at a bowling club is beyond reasonable. Will I go back? Probably not!

What people don't realise is this place is competing with Totti's. Additionally, the benefits for us include that they are really accommodating of our 13 month old, has city views and is 1 block from our house. They have high chairs, outdoor play area, accomodate larger groups of mums with prams. I highly recommend this place and have come three times myself.

Last week my son and I went to dinner at Five Dock Bowling Club (Skinny Tony).
We were there at approximately 5pm and were the first people in the restaurant. We were seated at the corner of the restaurant. I asked the girl who seated us "are there any window seats available?" she said "oh most of them are reserved" which was fine if that were true.
We were then seated in a little corner. I do understand that as we didn't make reservations we were seated wherever is available, however the restaurant was not busy at all the entire time we were there which was until about 7pm. Before we left the restaurant there were still so many windows seats available which were not reserved.
It is very upsetting as after all of that we could have had a window seat. For that reason we definitely will not be going back as there are many other choices around five dock.
I do not pull the race card lightly but I cannot help but think that the way we were treated was due to our race. If that was the case, It is a shame that even in the 21st century this kind of behaviour continues to happen.

we ordered 4 entrees to share-
brushetta, delicious.
Bbq Squid and Octopus - so fresh melted in your mouth soft.
Baked figs - big fresh sweet figs wrapped in prosciutto and gorgonzola sauce, very morish.
Lambo pizza - the dough was unbelievable, lamb was melt in your mouth tender and then the potato and rosemary just hit the spot.
MAIN I ordered the rib combo - both pork and beef cuts were marinaded and cooked to perfection with a side of chips,
DESSERT I had the baci icecream ball hazelnut gelato covered in Belgium chocolate, absolutely devoured it.
DRINKS I had pomegranate mojito,s through the night and a white hot chocolate with desert.

Overall experience at this restaurant was exceptional, big meals cooked to perfection with very friendly staff and a city sky line view from the window table.
we will definitely be back
