Read a lot of positive reviews and thought we'd stop in for dinner. The pizza was ok, a little dry, and not too sure about the 'pulled beef' listed on the menu, but they may have been out of stock. The pasta was overcooked to the point that it was falling apart on the fork and lacked a lot of flavour. Some of the images of the pasta on the site look delicious, so I was a little disappointed. The young man that served us was lovely, and the food came out within 30 minutes of ordering.

Well, after seeing and hearing the cheff coughing multiple times all over cooked meals, we quickly left !!!! He should NOT be working. Disgusting! So dissapointing as the menu looked good

Like most bowls clubs, food was very good but the usual, service was exceptional..

A nice little place. Good to support your local club...you don't want them closing down do you.

Waited an hour for two meals last night without a warning or an apology. We received a burnt, tough Chicken Schnitzel with cold chips and a teaspoon of salad and a Mediterranean Chicken salad with a side of cold chips. The chicken in the salad was cold straight from the fridge but menu states "char grilled chicken". The chips are obviously being precooked and served later. Why??? You need to do better Club Emu.

Had an evening meal and drinks with friends on Sunday 13 August. Also played pokies and participated in the Trivia for the full experience. All four meals were overcooked with the roast beef being tuff. Bar and table service was abrupt and impersonal. Friends and l won't be going back.

My husband had the chicken parma and chips and I had the half serve carbonara with chicken. Both were delicious! Husband said it was the best parma he's had in Queensland. It's a shame we live so far away. Great service and friendly staff.

Went for the first time on 5th April for an evening meal, was busy but not full. Had the pork belly entre to share, then for mains had chicken parmigiana and fish of the day. Meal sizes were large and you get to choose your sides included in the price. Typical club food options on the menu. Enjoyed the meal, relative to the price. Service was great, the wait staff are really friendly and helpful.

Staff nice but chef as rude as anything. Waited 45 mins for a pizza. When we enquired about the wait he asked if we would like it raw our to wait like everyone else does! Then proceded to swear about us to other staff. Loud enough to hear. Not on dude!!

Food always good here. Helpful waiting staff. Enjoyed the best vegan pizza we've ever eaten. Would eat here regularly if there were more vegan options. Thank you.

PLEASE READ THIS. Nothing has changed since last we were here. Five stars all the way guys. Beautiful quiet atmosphere. Nice and clean and Covid friendly. Cold drinks on tap include xxxx. Yeah nothing beats a cold one going down. The meals are plentiful and you can order what you like on the menu from bangers and mash (to die for) to salmon and also pizza if that takes your fancy. Bit of a wait but it was busy and in the end was well worth the wait. Thanks for the experience guys. Cheers big ears we will be back

Extremely disappointed in my experience. This was my first time ordering from here extremely expensive and parmy and a crumb steak cost $55 and when I got home the chips where old like they were left overs from lunch, the tiny salad had rotten cherry tomatoes and the crumb steak had a rancid taste. Would not recommend and will definitely be taking my money else where

I tried to order something to eat on Sunday at 2:10pm and was told the kitchen is closed because the chef said it's too quiet. I was very disappointed not being able to get anything during advertised times for lunch.

We went here because they had great reviews, but we were very disappointed as we ordered our meal at 7.30pm, they came out to us at 8.30pm to say they had no crumbed steak and to chose something else which we did and received our meals at 9pm. And for the time we waited for our meals to arrive the meals were disappointing 😞.

We did not eat at the club but we certainly enjoyed a few Sunday afternoon drinks here. We caught the last 40 minutes or so of Gaz and Gazz which was great. The club is very clean in all areas, bar, dining, outdoor and bathrooms. The young staff were also friendly and efficient. We noticed that as soon as people left the table was cleared and wiped down. We would come back to this club and would certainly recommend to all to call in.

This has to be my favourite after shopping , always someone to talk to local or visitor

Lovely meal tonight. Had the mushroom soup and roast beef. Both were really nice with the beef falling apart. Definitely will be back.

I have never felt humiliated as much as I was at this club. Went for a roll up , got met with a female staff member who asked me for club membership identification. I was told i couldn't roll up and then told to go.Just hope they check the Sunday social players

Venue of choice for a 100th Birthday Party with multiple generations among the 50+ guests. Excellent roast beef and pork and pizzas for the kids. Accommodating function staff made for a great choice of venue. Great value and good range of drinks from the bar. Brought back fond memories of many happy hours enjoyed a generation previously when the venue was the local bowls club. A great place for a centenarian to be honoured by family and friends.

Good food at reasonable prices and to make it all that better the Staff bent over backwards for you.

Service was very poor.It felt as members of the club were looked after.We did not get offered water at our table when we were seated but members of the club were.No specials of the day were also offered to us but every member of the club that came in was told.Food was ok. All in all if you are going to have dinner here just don't expect customer service.

Good service, great food, gaming room has plenty of machines for size for the venue.. would recommend a family dinner / just you and the missus night. Friday members draw. Cheap membership!

Ordered the special Reef and Beef. I thought this is going to be good Beef capital of Qld just up the road and the ocean on their doorstep. Nope it was far from my expectations for any self respecting restaurant. Half the steak was grissle and it was thin. The young waitress was nice and the place was clean. She gets my stars

The food is good and comes out quick. The service is friendly and helpful. It has a nice atmosphere. My 5yo and I go there for our dinner dates

We shared a lovely meal with four friends! Food was delicious no one had any complaints. Bar and service staff very friendly. Will come here again.
