We ordered the $55 - 400gm ribeye, medium. It was cooked absolutely perfectly, the pepper gravy was probably one of the nicest we have tried in a long time. I think it should\'ve been served with mash and not chips, yes we could\'ve upgraded, but then thats just chucking more money at a meal than we needed too. The customer service was really good, we were well looked after. As for why you didn\'t get 5stars, we booked a table for two and were shoved in a door way, with the high traffic and the constant pounding of the kids feet running past us every 2mins was frustrating, how the waiters manage not to get bowled over is a miracle. For anyone wanting a quite meal and get annoyed at parents not controlling their children, this probably isn\'t the Saturday night venue you want to visit. The the other reason you lost a star was your exorbitant pricing of wine. We paid (yes we choose to because we wanted something nice that we knew tasted good and paired well with our steak) $74 for a bottle of Shiraz, this wine we buy ofter from our local winery is a $35 bottle of wine that you can buy at anytime, now I understand you need to put a slight mark up on there, but over double???? It\'s pubs like you that I wont return to for that very reason, regardless of how well the meal was.

Nice hotel with good service but the food has really gone downhill. The Edinburgh hotel used to be one of our favorites but after the last two times, I don\'t think we will be back to eat again. It wasn\'t just one dish but our group found the food pretty lackluster across the board with everything just looking and tasting average at best. Go for a beer but maybe look for somewhere else for dinner.

Barra a touch wet but a good serve & presentation. Great wine selection but a little cheeky charging $65 for a Shaw & Smith Sav. When they are literally located around the corner

This lovely heritage listed hotel has a great undercover beer garden, allowing for outdoor dining all year round. The ambience inside is relaxed modern at the rear, while an ample sized front bar retains that front bar feel.

The food menu is appropriately managed and the sample we had, gnocci, on this occasion was appropriately seasoned and flavourful, as well as appropriately sized - not too big and not too small.

The beer and wine list is also good, and the attached drive-through is stocked with an especially good selection of local and national wines, with a small selection of \'everyday\' and \'craft\' beers that should cater for most people.

We will definitely be dining here again.

We went in a group so there's a mix of likes and dislikes. The barramundi was fresh delicious and served hot. The beef schnitzel was apparently warm to cold and not up to taste.
The food presentation was nice but the service...well, the waiter doesn't smile but he did his job.
