We visited the bistro on a Monday night. It appears to be very popular with the locals and deservedly so. I had the Irish Sausages with bacon mash, onion and cabbage. They were absolutely delicious! The staff and the bar were excellent and the kitchen was very well organised. It needed to be given the size of the crowd. Overall a great pub meal and recommended. My only complaint. Shockingly I was recently advised they no longer serve Apple Cider - not even bottles in stock. It was enough to make a grown man (who is a dedicated cider rather than beer drinker) weep.

Wonderful Hotel popped in for a quiet lunch with my wife and daughters. The playground was great. Plenty of fun was had, and the meals were great. My wife said the salmon was delicious. I had a chicken parmy I finished everything. Highly recommended.

Nice pub with a very modern bistro, would help if the bartender actually sent my order to the kitchen instead of me waiting an hour to find out it was never send through, while I was still charged for it, not sure how that's possible

It was our first time at East Hills Hotel. We sat in the outdoor area, with the other smokers. It was a nice area and the beer was cold. Great so far. The problem, for my wife and I, was the many kids who were running around screaming and playing loudly, while their parents sat around drinking and eating. I don't necessarily blame the hotel, but it did spoil our visit to the hotel.

Great value lunchtime specials. Nice and clean decor. Friendly staff. Parking on sight.

Saturday 9th of sep I came in for dinner with my entire family. It was quite busy as it was a Saturday night but the service was on point. Jerome O'Shea was a new worker and it was his first shift , he was very polite, helpful and had great customer service , I left extremely impressed and satisfied.

Setting aside the fact that the staff have no clue what they're doing or how to even serve 1 drink they have a topless bimbo walking around constantly trying to ask you what you want to drink so I got annoyed and wound up in the pokie room and then found out that the pokies there are worse I put through 1 machine $1500 and no word of a lie I didn't even get 1 free game I highly recommend that anyone whoever they are really recommend to never ever go to the east hills hotel pub that place is worth a -0 for clubs

Typical local pub. Tried ordering one of the weekly specials but they'd ran out. The kids nuggets and chips left my 8 year old hungry with barely even a handful of chips. We only went as part of a group booking and wouldn't go back by choice.

The Bistro is pretty good. I love their Schnitzel. It's a great place for a casual weekend lunch with friends and there is an enclosed kids playground in the bistro to keep the Rugrats busy and keep their noise inside.

Fine family afternoon at a choice venue..convenient location with most helpful and pleasant (smiling)staff with tasty food and generous servings from diverse menu..good value and highly recommended

I went on a Friday night. Nice big spacious bar and bistro with outdoor deck area. The outdoor deck has pool tables, large screen for the footy and plenty of heaters. Also [---] room for a slap. I had the steak sandwich for dinner which was really nice and was delivered promptly.

Have been here a number of times BUT today was soooo poor. Pool tables short of balls no staff in gaming & really poor staff efforts on the bar. Was today an exception???? Hope so cause I recommend this place to so many people. Pick your game up guys if you want people to keep coming back.

service is great good on you guys! but the nachos was pretty disappointing if you could pls make it less sloppy.. and with real avocado/guac, fresh tomatoes etc and cheese on top, it could definitely be perfected!

I went to the lounge and saw a bright light. I found myself floating into a UFO and was seduced by an intergalactic barmaid. I then found myself at East Hills park with a sore arse and fifty cents in my pocket.

Very impressed with the staff and the meals. Had a bad experience here 6 months ago. Obviously they have changed staff. They were lovely. Looked after us so well. Definitely above and beyond. We needed somewhere disabilities friendly. Couldn't recommend this place higher. Will definitely be back.

Good food and nice play area. The play area does need to be monitored by management though as we had children throwing shoes so we had to remove our little one.

Since the renovation this has become a favourite . But today ( Sunday ) I couldn't believe the beautiful 2 piece band . If you're not into 70s 80s then it may not be for you . But to chill will a couple of beverages and lunch on a Sunday arvo listening to the band was 10/10 . Rissoles and mash is what I decided on today and that didn't disappoint. Staff are always friendly .

Hope the band is back sooner rather than later .

The food is the best it's been, really nice!
Especially the $10 steak on a Monday night, the $10 schnitzel on a Tuesday night, the rissoles, the salmon and the half chicken.

Nice to see pool tables here. Totally relaxed atmosphere. Indoor,outdoor flow. Restaurant bright and service excellent.

This is a Beautiful pub. We had the salmon and veg, which was cooked to perfection, then I ordered a mars bar cheesecake to share with my grandson, and in hindsight, I should have ordered two ? Best pub ??'???'?

Catering done well, tables cleared quickly.
Wheelchair access. I would visit again.

What an amazing time my family had today for Mother's Day, I've been here a few times now and each time has been great. Thank you to the kitchen and bistro staff for making our time even better. Big thanks to Eddie, Jin and Lorna for the amazing food and service they provided today to make my mums day even better will be back.

Would love somewhere to sit and have a drink without the races in my ear...Theres the bistro or outside - a quiet bar for a drink is no longer. Pity!

Good cold black beer, as for the makeover it will appeal to the younger patrons. Much preferred the original small village pub it was before the changes.

After a very long and adventurous hike through Georges River National Park this was the perfect place for our recovery drink! Professional and friendly staff - welcoming ambience and excellent food menu. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

The food is delicious and service is fast. Great atmosphere. The outdoor area is lovely with a sprinkler system.

We love it here. The renovations have made it really light and spacious. Great new kids play area. The food is absolutely delicious, a lot of love goes into making it I am sure. Great for families!
