I ordered the salmon dish, and it was cooked well with no distinctive taste. The vegetables were delicious, but the sauce lacked flavor. The staff was polite and friendly, but the environment was quite dreary and outdated. There was no evident effort in renovation; everything seemed old. Surprisingly, there was no special lunch option in the middle of the week.

We were 2nd to place our order, pizza and garlic bread. Staff member asked for a name for the order. 45 mins later she walked out with our order. She said she didn't recognise us but she didn't call out our name. Our order was cold and she admitted it had been sitting for awhile. Came back to our van and reheated our order. Not again thank you

Hell yeah, great watering hole. One of my top 5 pubs I recon. A must do to stop in here and have a few frothies on your journey. Dinner was bloody good too, didn't get a pizza just had steak and chicken snitzl, both were fantastic.

I was there for the food, not the accommodation. It was a good spot for an evening meal. Standard pub food, but acceptable quality for a hungry cyclist.

Great food, generous portions and easy going atmosphere, family friendly, unfortunately in the middle of nowhere, can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay.

Pretty good for a country pub, the barmaid was on the ball with our drinks, food was plentiful and nice rooms were clean and tidy, would stop there again no worries

We called in for a meal on our way through town recently and was pleasantly surprised by this little country pub. The food was great- especially the pork belly bites we had for our entrees. The steak was cooked perfectly and the Ceasar salad was very nice. The dining room was spacious with a fantastic kids play area with everything to keep you little ones amused if you want to sit back and enjoy a relaxed meal.

Worse pizza in the world, took over an hour to cook, base was like old shoe leather, ended up with a toothache. After visiting the dentist it was confirmd my tooth had cracked after trying to chew through this. No stars deserved for this chef

TV does not work, air con does not work, rooms are not clean , shower screens have not been cleaned , carpet on floor needs deep clean.

My husband and I stopped for lunch today, we both ordered crumb cutlets They were not cooked enough one looked almost raw. Waitress could not have cared less . They took mine back to cook more but by the time I got them back I was turned off, they were by then very oily and I was over it . I asked the waitress for a partial refund and was told very rudely that no way was I getting any money back. I wish I had look at the reviews first because I wouldn't have went there. Seems like the don't care about their business or return customers

3rd time staying , and despite previous good reviews, I had a bad experience this time. perhaps they had been very busy over the weekend, but the food I ordered (salt and pepper squid) was very dry and chewy, and for the second time, the women's showers were not operational. The hot tap on one wasnt fitted correctly, and didn't operate the water, no matter how much you turned it, and the second shower only produced a trickle of water from either tap. I ended up using the men's amenities, which was not ideal, but the showers worked well.
the next morning, when I went for the complimentary breakfast, there was no milk. I was just very disappointed with my stay, for other, unmentioned reasons also, and decided I would not stay here again the next time I come through. what a shame.

Very good meal, great menu selection and food arrived super quick! Would recommend for anyone travelling through Dunedoo.

Ordered a pizza at 6pm, waited until 8pm, until it was ready. Staff were extremely unhelpful and rude. Cook canned out off the kitchen to berate us when we asked if it would be ready soon. Then when it was finally ready, literally dropped it's on the table without saying a word. Never been so disappointed in a pub service or staff.

Loved it. Had dinner with friends here for the first time ever and the meals were awesome. Well priced, food was plentiful and tasted great. Friendly staff and the bistro was clean and tidy. Staff were happy to offer a takeaway dish for what we could eat. Definitely recommend HOTEL DUNEDOO for a great meal.

Enjoyed a huge plate of snaggs and vegetables. Went out of my way to praise the chef on the splendid way she cooked the food to perfection. Would nor hesitate to return. Well worth the low cost of the meal. Do yourself a favour if in the area.

Bistro was pumping on Saturday night.

So the only seat was a reserved table for 6 but the people overheard and said, "Why not join us? We booked for 6 but there's only 4 of us."

What followed was a delightful evening at Hotel Dunedoo with 2 MASSIVE chicken parmas, a puppeteer, a country singer, an Olympic Gold medalist, an HM secret service agent, a Scot from St Andrew's and "a simple farmer" from a long line of Dunedoo Yoes.

Can't guarantee a repeat performance when you drop in for a feed at the HD - but we had ourselves an unforgettable evening! (And the parmas were EPIC!)

Surprising just how many people were here this night. Its a popular spot.

Great atmosphere. Very friendly. Lady behind the bar was excellent and set the mood. Locals did not mind a yarn and were happy to let you join in.
Meals are very good and generous servings. Will definitely find my way back.
