came for a quick meal on a tuesday night and was waiting for 1.5+ hours for one burger. the staff couldn't give us an estimated time and offered a refund, only if we left before our food came. food wasn't even that good.

Private function room- very spacious area, lots of good beers, cosmos and margaritas, and good nibbles.
Have a great dance floor and fun activity room upstairs too.
Nice place to relax and unwind.

The service was quick and polite. The atmosphere wasn't too loud or crowded. Great place to come with your mates!

Yummy cocktails. Schnitzel and chips are good. Didn't really like the burger. The booths are comfortable.

We had an event with 70 people at the Crows Nest Hotel last week. The event manager was super helpful and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. The room assigned to us was cozy, clean and beautiful. We will be back to host more events for sure.

I was there for the State of Origin last night. The bar upstairs where they projected the footy was fantastic.

I ordered the Veal Schnitzel and it was great. I was very disappointed though, I love lemon and I received the tiniest lemon wedge, I asked the waitress for another 10 pieces as I like to drench my veal in lemon. The waitress said "the kitchen will only give you 5." I would have happily paid more, I thought this was really poor service from the kitchen team.

Apart from that the bar staff upstairs were wonderful all night.

It was our first experience throwing a birthday party in a venue in Sydney, we absolutely enjoyed it. Ailish did her best to make it happen, easy to communicate, and a great organiser.

We booked the Cocktail Lounge and the room was exactly the one we hoped for to have 40+ guests... the luxury of having a nice private bar was a huge game changer, in addition to the dance floor which was spacious enough... We played our songs through a very good sound system... all in all everything went smoothly. Food was great as well...

Crows Nest functions are highly recommended if you are after a cosy private room spending quality time with your family and friends for an occasion...

The staff was nice and offered to give us drinks because of our experience. My dad and i sat at a table with grease and crumbs on it all night. The bar was very busy which meant all the staff were there. We ordered drinks before other people and watched them walk away before us. 20 minutes later we went up to check and they had forgotten about our drinks. our food also sat at the bench for 10 minutes with the bell ringing continuously. When our food finally got given to us, our food was cold. There was so much salt on my fish and chips that i could see the white layer covering it, that's all i could taste. I felt pretty bad to tell the staff these things when they took our plates because there was just 3 of them.

Very good food in this pub. I came here couple of time and ordered specials. Yesterday I had the chicken skin to start and Veal liver and Lamb. The best!!!!

A month ago, they had crispy port knuckles. I was amazed!

Will come back for more specials.

Everything you can expect from a pub. The outdoor area is very nice as well as the bar.
But the foods is very average.

Went there for some afterwork drinks. Food is okay, service was slow as you have to order via a QR code. It was just an okay place if you want to chat or hangout without all the noise but there are better deals elsewhere specially when it comes to happy hour drinks.

Have been visiting here since the 90s and seen multiple generations of this place.
Downstairs is pretty nice these days with good food and a fun atmosphere.
Upstairs is amazing!!

This is a true local gem, great venue with great service a well know watering hole on the north shore with plenty of choices. I found the food extremely good pub fair and the staff friendly and courteous

I really do like this place. It is our go to.
Sometimes, the music is extremely loud (not vert loud, but extremely loud) which makes no sense for Sunday nights.
Overall, it is a great place. Great food and drinks

Absolutely shocking food. Barramundi was definitely frozen, not fresh. Mash tasted like it was a packet mix and my friends chicken burger was raw. Reminded me of the dorm meals at uni. Not cheap either.

Nice vibe, great night for locals! If you love drinking, dancing then you will love this spot! The music is ok! But I haven't tried the cocktails, next time.

Great pub in a very busy part of Crows Nest, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, The Crowie is a great place for a quick bite or drinks with mates. There are many sections to the hotel which gives good variety whether you want to watch the footy, have a more upmarket bar or hang out in the beer garden

The pub itself is great... Good location and some really nice areas upstairs. Have had many a good trivia night here.

The food quality has plumetted... I've eaten here half a dozen times and been a bit disappointed but tonight reminded me why I shouldn't order food here.

Such a great pub but the food is so far below par. Needs a refresh.

Upstairs is quite classy and nice. Has relaxed seating.
Although they need to put some noise attenuation panels on the ceiling because of the hard surfaces it gets very very loud very fast when there are a few people in there so they need to put some soft panels on the ceiling that take the edge of the noise.
But they should not change the look of the place as it looks quite classic upstairs and quite classy.

Downstairs can be a bit messy on a Friday night feels a bit like a student pub.

Ryan the bartender is AMAZING. I hope you guys have given this man a promotion. Every time I go to the Crowie he is so helpful and quick to serve everyone. It honestly looks like he runs the bar and everyone else works around him. He's always so on top of everything and super polite, someone pls tell that man he's amazing thank you
Also the place in general is great (mostly because of Ryan though)

We had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch for 12. The ballroom is lovely so good for a group. I also like their good outside area on a warm afternoon.

The Asian manager was fun to talk with, I think that was the highlight :p

Lighting is a joke, sound system is a joke.

More security looking for someone to drag out then good vibes, unfortunately.

Had a great time there on Sunday. We had a work get together which was a great way to finish the week. One of the management team, Mitch, was so accomodating and the overall service from the staff was unreal. Great bunch of girls & guys. Would definitely recommend it! Food was great too

Been one of my go to places in the north shore shore a while now. Good price on drinks with the $5 monthly beer, which is a killer deal. Service is good and the food is about what you want. The place itself is lovely, amazing bar, and great upstairs seating. Only one thing I would point out is one manager seemed to leave his employees to serve a number of people which left us waiting for a while. It would be nice to see them lead by example and help out waiting customers rather than hiding in the back. But aside from that a great place.

Food was great, classic pub style meals worthy of your attention and plenty of unique spaces to chill out in.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with our beers as they tasted foul and off (undrinkable) so we went down to another bar. Hope things improve for next time.

I am a long time patron of the Crows Nest hotel. I have been to the hotel for family lunches and late nights out.However, I have never been so appaled by the lack of respect and courtesy shown by security to me and my family. We were scolded for not being "clear enough" for the amount of people entering the venue. Thus, were bluntly and rudely dismissed from entry to venue. We were not provided with an opportunity to wait for a table of 9, but were kicked out like a bunch of drunk hooligans.I have always been a cooperative patron and appreciative the hard work and dedication of the staff within the venue especially this unprecedented time. However, security need to have a hard look at their attitude and how that reflects the image of this glorious establishment.Regards...Alexander Bernes

Good vibe plenty of different seating areas. Most staff cheerful, happy and obliging. Good selection of beers.Fish and chips were very disappointing, they were not hot. Not sure now you can possibly get that wrong . Other meals were ok.

Long time since i have been there like 28 years , have to say i was very impressed with it, good choice of food and beer.
