Wow - went for dinner and had chicken burger and beef burger. Both absolutely delicious - with fresh protein and heaps of sauce on fresh bun. Melt in your mouth stuff and worthy of a gastro pub. Beer was ice cold - beautiful Carlton Draught with 80s hits banging in the background - sensational Allround. Also great service from the wait staff - mixture of Gen Z and older crew but all fantastic. Well done ??'?

Food was delicious, melt in your mouth pork roast, I had the brisket bites, found them a little tough. But good flavour, staff are super friendly, and great atmosphere too

The Mother's Day set menu was perfect! The service was exemplary as per usual, thank you for looking after me so well. I had the best day!

Firstly all staff we encountered said hello or welcomed us. We came in the wrong door and we were helped straight away by a super friendly cheery guy who got us to the bistro. The women working there were nice , helpful and cheery as well. Well when the food came out the servings were huge. Burger and surf and turf and kids pasta. Everything tasted amazing and I even had to steal some of my other half delicious garlic sauce.
On Monday through Sunday, Criterion Tavern is open from 8 AM until 2 AM the following morning.
