Play Pokies at Criterion Tavern in Gawler

What a wonderful little pub this is. Our group caught train to Gawler and walked across the road. The food was remarkable as was the friendliness of staff.

We always have such a great time....especially on Friday night raffle...looking forward to going to Tuesday quizz night.....

This was a great little place.
It was warm and welcoming, once we found the dining room. We came in from the wrong door but the staff were awesome.
The meals came out in good time after the starters had been devoured.
This garlic bread is one of the best we have had. It was actual a small loaf cut into quarters. We had never seen garlic bread like this before and it was delicious 😋.
Plenty of flavour.
The mains were generous and very nice, no one left hungry.
Definitely be back.

I have been to the Criterion a couple of times now, and found the food to be excellent. Always hot, tasty and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends. The staff are also very friendly and make you welcome.
