Just sitting out the back and being blown away by the playlist, cool breeze is blowing and the lovely lady at the counter doesn't mind me just drinking a coffee and eating Doritos. Such a cute playground for my little one to play in as well as clean amenities, it's a good day. Will definitely be coming by on a weekend day to try the food!!

We came here with 7mins to spare after an awfully tough drive through the mountains. We were so thankful the chef was happy to still make lunch for us. We ordered a steak sandwich to share and it was absolutely delicious!!!

Had a few meals here now, great vego burger. Partner has the classic parmi. 10/10 every time.
You do get what you pay for and the price is on the upper end of the pub meal pricing scale but the meal reflects this. It's been great every time.
We bring our dog and sit outside in the garden. Great atmosphere and staff. They always check we're happy. I'll be back. No doubt.

On our way back to Victoria we stayed here and it was awesome. It's free to camp/pull up for the night. We had a few drinks and dinner! Why wouldn't you support the local tavern!

5 stars for everything! Jack and Jules are the most amazing and accommodating people. Had a couple of laughs with them. The food is amazing and very good value for your money. Definitely recommend having a meal and beer or three there. Thanks guys ? see you again soon ?

What a really lovely place - run by a warm and friendly couple - Jack & Julie. I stayed on the "wrong" night and missed eating in the Bistro (the menu looked amazing) however, I didn't go hungry and the pizza I had was delicious just the same. The room I was in was small and basic, but priced really well and the hot shower had great water pressure. I'd definitely stay again but would probably "upgrade" to one of the family rooms next time.

Great place to spend a few days. Free camp on grassy area beside the Tavern. Jack and Julie (new owners) are beautiful people so kind and made us feel extremely welcome as did the locals. Golf course just around the corner. T.V mobile 'phone reception ok. This would have to be one of the best we have experienced will be back. We suggest you visit.

Was at a bike show and had a blast. Staff were very friendly until closing. Would definitely recommend a stop there.

Country pub with accommodation in dongas behind the pub. The rooms were small, cozy, big enough to sleep in but no room to swing a cat, but the bed was comfortable and I slept well, although the hot water heat pump right outside caused a lot of noise which made it difficult to fall asleep.
I was there on a night when the kitchen was closed, but they had pizzas to feed whoever needed feeding, and the pizzas were excellent. Far better than I had expected.

Stayed for a couple of nights, welcome was fabulous from Jack and Julie, new owners. Spent the night in the Tavern watching State of Origin, such a great, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping here. Free camping out the back of pub.

Friendly and welcoming with great local food and good beer! We camped here for free and spent the night in the pub! Go for a visit if you're heading up or down the coast!

My family and I visited for the first time and were very impressed. The food tasted great, everything was cooked well. The people were all lovely. We got to enjoy our meal while our kids played on the playground happily. We were even able to bring our puppy which was a delight as we can't leave the puppy home this little. Would highly recommend this place.

Some of the staff are great. Since changing owners, the prices in the bottle shop have gone up a lot and the reasons given are lies. Just be honest. I have never tried the food there as the regulars say its not good. I save a lot each week driving to South Grafton to buy my beer supplies now. Nice pub yo sit at the bar or outside for a drink though. The owner should stop his compulsive lying.

I don't know what has happened to this place. For months they happily stocked beer for me to buy and ordered it when I was the only buyer for that beer. I in turn bought all mjy and my friends liquor from that bottleshop even though I could often get it cheaper when I was in town.

Lately they just stopped getting it but kept promising they'd have it. I went back 3 times and was told the same each time, gave them longer than they said on each occasion to get my beer in.

They have never given a reason to not have the beer, only promised they would have it by Wednesday but it's not there on Friday when I go to get it. Every time I ask I get told "I am not the one that does the ordering" but the meo to get the order never goes through.

They could have kept a customer for life. I spruiked the business and let people know they should go there. But they have dropped the ball big time and obviously do not want my business. They use bar staff to run the bottleshop and it's obvious they don't have the time to do both and it is stressing the staff.

Worth the drive.. Lovely staff.. And Sunday roast... Amazing... Pub meal.. But done so well..... Incredible... Try the garlic bread that's even 11 out of 10...so yummo... Thankyou.... Good atmosphere.... Best place been too in 10 years.... For me to say that it's has too be amazing.. Best kept secret.... Cheers

The kitchen was atrocious!!!!!!!

Orders were confused.
Black human hair in the hamburger meat.
Meats not cooked.
No chips

Why didn't they just say sorry kitchen closed instead of trying to battle on,their reputation is tarnished for ever now.
They said sorry, no refunds, new cook next week but who would risk it not me.

Good little country pub. We had drinks and lunch there today.
Hubby had a ham and pineapple pizza and I had the homemade pie with spuds and gravy. Very tasty. Staff were very friendly. Met some of the locals. Prices were good.

Bar was busy and a bit noisy but dining room was quiet and we had a really lovely and healthy lunch.

I like Coutts pub, the staff are always friendly and yesterday they had live music which was great. Go there it's family friendly and you'll enjoy a great meal good beer and excellent atmosphere.
