If I could give it ZERO stars....I would.Booked a Table x12 two weeks ago over the phone for the BISTRO upstairs. Rang back begging of this week to RECONFIRM to be told " sorry upstairs on Saturday nights ONLY for Special functions. Then told by Chris they could accommodate us downstairs in the main Bar area. Turned up last night and when approached BAR staff about said Booking arrangement nobody knew anything about it.....totally unprofessional and weak. I have never ever encountered such lack of professionalism. Shame on You.!!!

Once again, incredibly rude waitress at bar. Espresso martini was terrible, tasted like watered down instant coffee. Will not be back ever. Appalling.

Been there many times for meal and meet friends. Since previous visit it is much better to eat downstairs although I am not sure hours for meal service during the week, Weekends meals all day and evening. Food is sensational and big serving. Service is very good. Would recommend.

Although the location is great, I'd hardly recommend this place.
Staff at the bar and serving are great, very friendly.
However, the food is quite average (very average) with a size not in line with the price.
I could come back, but wouldn't be my first option.

Great beer. I really relaxed and enjoyed being there, until the storm rolled in. They really need to fix the leaking roof in the disability toilet.

Kinda preferred this place before they did a Reno. Prices up 30% if you don't join some membership thing, terrible value now. Like, I shouldn't have to join a membership program at the local to not pay $15+ for a pint. I paid $45 for a parmi and pint, and it was an average parmi! Also sucks that the glass smoking room is gone, was iconic.

Great service very friendly. We didn't eat but the food at other tables looked wonderful (smelled great). A new (?) loyalty program seems like a great addition. The clientele is as always very colourful ?

Excellent food and atmosphere. The service especially good . The girl Katie was on top of everything , from food ordering to taking drink orders , not just from us but she remembered what everyone in the bar was drinking ,very fast and efficient !

A Friend & I were looking for somewhere to have Coffee at 9pmish on a Thurs Night. My friend wasn't in Smart Casual. He didn't have his Driver's License on him either. We stood at the Main Entrance. Fortunately the Bar Manager came to us. We explained our situation. The Bar Manager was SO Accommodating. She said that it was fine to sit on the Outdoor Sitting & have our Coffees from the Bar Coffee Machine- Prefect. A Win/Win!

Forest fantastic food and budget friendly! OUTDOOR DINING is the winner here! Right at Taylor square amongst it all! Friendly staff, quick service, outdoor dining is the norm here, plenty of space to feel privacy but amongst the buzz that is Darlinghurst.

Walked into their venue intending on grabbing a couple beers before heading home but instead harassed at the door for being intoxicated. I'm currently writing this a mere 5 minutes after refused entry, I believe my ability to construct a sentence, shows contrary to this. I'd be more understanding had the place been packed, but clearly they need to have a bit more respect towards customers. The manager at 10:30 on 6/2/22 if you're reading this, I hope you pull your head in.

Good setting, nice ambience...menu is too ordinary and limited choices, rather boring selections. Get Francesco back..I'm sure there'll be some improvements..!

Staff are polite, beer is cold, the view into the crowd is unparalleled, and they're open late. There is nothing lonesome, morbid or drear about this public refreshment provider.

Courthouse hotel is in a fantastic location in that part of the city. So much going on. We were promptly asked to show the ServiceNSW check-in and ushered upstairs which has a more bar feeling. The stairway smelt of piss, it was quite intense. Once we got upstairs we were quite surprised, it was a nice layout. We got some snacks, chicken wings, garlic bread, calamari and unfortunately I didn't love the food. I usually love pub food but this didn't work for me. On the positive side, the team at Courthouse are lovely, very friendly and attentive.

The good ol courthouse. Whenever I come here it neither disappoints nor is super impressive. It fills it's purpose perfectly. Great location.

I went there and asked for a steak, chips and salad and they brought a sad piece of meat, old frozen chips and just lettuce with vinegar. Can someone tell them that lettuce is not a salad, I can have a better meal for the same money at maccas. What a sad excuse for a pub.
