Comfortable beds. Shared showers and toilets were not segregated by sex and the toilet near my room didn't have a privacy lock. Shared lounge with a kettle, coffee and tea but no cups! I went and asked for a cup in the bar and got one, but in the morning had to rush my cuppa so the other guests could use my cup, because there was nobody around to get a cup from. Quite noisy from everything rattling in the wind. Nice building and seems like a popular watering hole and dining option.

Owners are a long standing local family with the respect of our community, with morals and patrons values at heart, Great meals and service from their Cook that has many years experience as a well respected shearers cook and knows how to feed a hungry bunch, so if your coming through, stop in for a refresher, lunch or dinner, Weekend entertainment, free juke box, DJ, and live bands when posted, you will not be disappointed. ????

Great meals and excellent friendly staff would visit there again.

Was here a few years ago when Prue and David owned it not much has changed still the same country pub

Friday night meat raffle is poorly managed. But do love the child sitting at the end bar!!!

Had a lovely meal there, right in town.

Nice meals but very small amount compared to other country hotels.

Friendly locals, food was decent. Bartender was rude, gossipy and appeared that she would rather be elsewhere.

Possibly just staffing on the night but it ruined the experience

Cheap basic accommodation, no heating in rooms, clean bathrooms, cold beer, friendly locals, poor quality meals.

Great country pub friendl y staff and great food

Good pub with very good food. Lady in kitchen served 10 of us and everything was hot, tasty and everyone wax happy.

We dropped in for lunch today at this older pub.
The pub looks so good from the front, the bartender was friendly. We ordered 2 beef burgers with chips. Didn't take long at all and the lady that bought them over was very chatty. As we were leaving we notice the 4 Cowra fireman also stopped for lunch. Obviously they know lunch is good there as well.

Beautiful historic building. Staff however were not engaging and cleanliness needed work. Grime in shared bathrooms, dirty tables left uncleared and vacated rooms left open and unmade up for twenty four hrs plus. Could be really something with right management!

Just passing through and had dinner here, left much to be desired. The girl on the bar was more interested in the grey hound racing on the tv, than getting our food order right. The food was okay at best. Wouldn't be rushing back.

Food was average, wrong sauce come out and when I asked to get the right one the owner come out and subtly argued with me to say it was the correct sauce and that's how they serve it - wrong.. Dianne isn't served cold.
After dinner we wondered down to the only other pub in town and my god the service was amazing, they were passionate about their job and their pokies were actually switched on!
