Nice relaxing place but worse pub food ever. Not even able to do French fries correctly, and we were big group, no one enjoyed and we had to use so much sauce to make meal tasty. Never again!

Great spot for some great food and a few drinks. Staff are very friendly and there is plenty on the menu to suit everybody. Very child friendly with plenty of outdoor tables. You can even get a game of lawn bowls in if you want to. Go on get down there and try it yourself.

Came here for some dinner and to see more of the area. Lots of space and many kids running around with balls to play with.

We had the Parmigiana and the Porterhouse special on that day. The special kind of looked like a school lunch/dinner to us with the way it was present, but it was still yummy enough.

Great alternative to the more familiar bars of Coogee being the CBH and the Palace. Huge selection of beers on tap and cocktails. Very family friendly also with huge grounds to run around on (old bowling greens) and one green remaining if you wish have a bowl. Also contains a restaurant and TAB facilities.

Great place for a casual drink/lunch/dinner. Food was great and it's really easy to become a member to get discounts, I believe it's free to join at the moment too.

Had Melbourne cup lunch here. Had the entres of arancini balls, chicken wings, calamari. They're quite good. Had the T-bone steak for $34. The steak was huge, it was quite good but the mushroom sauce ok. Friendly staff & good prices.

One of the most disorganised venues I have ever been to, the staff don't seem to want to be there and spend most of their time chatting while people wait for drinks. Typically a 30 person queue to get drinks and usually two people serving. Cocktails should have a designated staff member as this also adds to the delays. I'd say they are understaffed but the do seem to have a lot of staff walking around not doing much. Great spot and outside area with so much promise. Sadly let down by poor bar service. If you've got kids and want a venue where they can run around and you don't mind waiting 30min for a drink it's still good.

A great spot for day drinking and even better for a sunset session. The fairy lights make the venue a memorable experience. The best part; it's a short walk away from the beach ??'??

Nice place. I chose the vegan bowl (plus chicken, no salsa) precisely because it didn't mention anything spicy (unlike other dishes). It was spicy. Plus, it tasted as if the veggies were taken out of the freezer 5 minutes ago. Also, they forgot the chicken, so I had to remind them to ad it. Might come back for drinks, but never for food.

when the people Infront of me were done, no acknowledgement, the attendee just turned around, back to me and spent the next 3 minutes talking to another employee. Probably about the order just placed, but try to be waiting for 3 minutes without acknowledgement that you are noticed and that you'll Be served soon. Anyhow finally the employee turns and without any apologies for the wait asks for my order. I ask for a large skim late. I am told that only full cream milk available. Ok, not my preference but I get it when it happens. Anyhow I pay and I am given a buzzer. Buzzer goes off very quickly and I pick up a "small" coffee. I ask them that I ordered a large one. No hesitation. No sorry, the same attendee just turns and says to the coffee barista to make it a large. The barista comes out shortly after with the right size coffee. He apologises for the confusion, and even gives me a quick tap on the shoulder when I say that it was ok. NOW that's manners! The female attendee from before needs to get her act together! But great fantastic place if I don't consider the rude service at the coffee shop/restaurant.

We've been here on a few different occasions and have been disappointed on each occasion! The two stars are for location and family atmosphere. Unfortunately that's where it ends for us...we held a christening party here over a year ago and found the staff to be extremely rude and even snapped at my wife for no reason at all, they were handing out the wrong drinks/orders and when questioned had a very hostile response, something we were surprised at to be honest. We decided not to make to much of it and passed it off as a one way off bad night for them. However we were there again recently for a friend's birthday and it was the same all the staff seemed to have a chip on their shoulder and when a customer in front of me questioned the drinks that were handed to him ( which were wrong) the bar tender called the bouncer and said he was intoxicated and to get rid of him, the man wasn't intoxicated and I thought it was a very low act from the bar tender! Definitely won't be in a rush back

Staff is friendly and easy going. The menu is new and offers all your classics. Also a good place to go with kids as there is lots of space indoors and outdoors to play.

Great place for a lazy Saturday arvo. Staff are very friendly and quick to clear away glasses and plates. Fantastic chips '(remember when you could get really crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside? Well the Chef here does too) and garlic bread and omg the Vegan Maqueca was perfection in a clay pot!

I highly recommend!!! Beautiful place. Wide and alot of space and decor is cute and beachy. I loved it.

Food was good for me. I had salmon and mash.
You can never go wrong with that.

Unexpectedly good for families. The greens have been turned into picnic areas and the kids love it here. Lots to do for them and safe too.

Great location and the outdoor seating is brilliant. They do need a longer bar though as service is chaotic when it's busy. Maybe a couple of beer taps outside to take the pressure off the inside bar. Food top quality and value!

Great place to catch up with friends/family. More relaxed than other Coogee venues. Brazilian chef at Bistro makes fantastic hot pot.

Went down there solo at 6pm and was told they weren't letting anyone in as they were at capacity, which I knew wasn't true as I had 2 mates in there saying there were plenty of empty tables. Great business plan, if you don't want my money I won't be back. Supervisor was being an a$$hole to everyone who approached

Great place to take the kids to run around on the greens. Usual pub foods with a few interesting extras. Reasonably priced. Staff are friendly.

Huge outdoor area - hopefully come summer there will be some shade umbrellas on the tables. Delicious food and relaxed vibe - family friendly.
