The hotel cancelled of accommodation for 2 young girls who flew into Sydney at 9:30pm after work. The hotel refused to let them check-in this late and they lost their accommodation. They had paid up front and the hotel is refusing to refund the accommodation.

The air conditioner in our room doesn't work, and when you open the window, hot wind enters the room from the air conditioner outdoor unit. There is also a lot of noise. The hallway is cooler.

Great local pub!! Great meals and atmosphere.

Pub food is fantastic. Other classics such as steak, burgers and chicken wings are available too. Beer and other alcohol is available too.

Outside sitting area has no smoking tables. Patrons still managed to smoke on the corner which disturbed my meal. It's all good, next time I will come inside instead.

Outside sitting area has heat lamps. Plastic curtains for preventing wind, rain and disturbance from cars and trains.

Look for the white chocolate, glossy bricks and warm wooden doors. 50 metres from Concord West Station.

For the price I was happy with what I got but I was disappointed that no cleaning was done of the communial showers/toilets over the 5 nights I was there. The air con was missing a knob to turn it on and the battery was flat for the fan. I mentioned it downstairs but did not get any help. The bed definitely needed replacing. I noticed the window had been propped open without a screen so it got a bit loud from the street. I expected noise from the pub below and it was only the Saturday night it got noisy. I was prepared. It was in a great spot for transport and close to cafes and a small supermarket which was handy. The food in the pub was really yummy and great prices.

Guinness had a 35mm head on it but nothing wrong with the feed. Burger was impressive, patty cooked medium like it should be. Rump steak was surprisingly tasty for sub $30

The bouncer at this Sydney pub was shockingly discriminatory, targeting specific patrons with rude and aggressive behavior. Their actions turned what should have been an enjoyable night out into an uncomfortable and biased experience, highlighting a serious failure in managing security at this establishment.

Best Guinness, staff always super friendly and will bring drink to table to let it settle. Food is good and a good portion.

We went here before and after the FIFA Women's AU vs IRE game. The staff were really good, and tolerant as there were a few pub dreg people around prior to the football fans arriving. Small beer range but affordable and really quick service. We came back after the game and had a great seat/table, it was warm and cozy. The staff handled crowds well and were always polite. We did not stay in the rooms upstairs. Will certainly come back.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Concord, where I recently booked a two-night stay. Unfortunately, my check-in and check-out were on the same day due to several issues I encountered during my stay.

Firstly, the water temperature in the shower was extremely unstable, which made it impossible to take a proper shower. The water would suddenly turn icy cold or scalding hot without any warning, and I was unable to regulate it properly. This was especially problematic given the chilly weather during my stay.

Secondly, the noise level in my room was unbearable due to the bar located downstairs. The loud music and shouting went on until 2 AM, making it impossible to get any rest or sleep.

Lastly, the hotel did not provide a hairdryer, which was a significant inconvenience for me and my two female companions who had long hair. We were unable to dry our hair properly, and as a result, both of them caught a cold after their showers.

Despite my attempts to negotiate with the hotel staff, they refused to offer a refund or any other form of compensation. As a result, I have decided to take legal action to protect my consumer rights.

Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Concord to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay. The hotel's management needs to address these issues urgently to avoid further dissatisfaction and legal issues in the future.

Great location to walk to Sydney Olympic Park. However the rooms were really stuffy and smelt bad. The shared bathrooms were beautiful and clean though, newly renovated. Free off street parking overnight was a real bonus.

Delicious chicken schnitzel! Nice, quiet atmosphere. Enjoyed watching the Knights win and a lovely meal.

The staff were really friendly and the room had a decent bed, nice bedding and towels and soaps/shampoos. I didn't mind the room being small. However, it was so hot inside the room. The air conditioning didn't work and the fan only made the heat slightly bearable. It was impossible to sleep the night through. None of the powerpoints worked. Which is strange because there is a TV and kettle there which would need power. I also found the shared toilet/shower facilities lacking. There was no bin in the bathroom, so there were tampon wrappers on the window sill and nowhere to put empty toilet rolls. The shower area was not very pleasant. The actual shower size, water pressure etc was fine, but the bathroom itself wasn't very clean. The floor was dirty and there were used soaps/shampoos on the shower shelf, and the sink area had lots of grime and marks. A shared shower area should be cleaned and disinfected multiple times a day.

Came as a get together with our friends. Travelled a great distance for the meetup. First we didn't receive our meal and we had being forgotten. Then they forgot my son's ice cream and when we asked for it we were told No as they were too busy for that. (Even though we had paid for it.) We left not impressed.

Worst experience. All staff were extremely disrespectful and rude towards the group I was with. We all got food and bought drinks, giving the business money but we were treated with complete disrespect and were continually all night looked at for no reason. There are much better pubs in the area, I would highly recommend not coming here

He very abruptly and rudely asked her to leave simply because she was carrying our puppy when she ordered her drink to take outside. She explained to him that she didn't want to leave our puppy alone outside in the cold while she ordered because he would be left unsupervised. At no point did she stop carrying the puppy in her arms while at the pub. She was left with no choice but to walk the puppy home in the dark as she couldn't stay at the pub to be picked up. We've been coming here for years and it was previously dog friendly with helpful staff who never refused service because we were carrying a dog. No longer.

The food menu also changed when the licencee changed and is no longer worth the effort, even though it used to be one of the best pub menus in Sydney. It's no surprise that there were only two patrons in the whole pub on a Thursday night. Well done, rude, obnoxious licensee on losing two long standing customers. We'll never come back here again.

Dropped in for a quick drink with friend. It was nice enough, friendly staff, clean and attractive decor. I did not stay long, but it hit the spot.

A friendly pub that has the instant feel of a local, fitted out well and with staff who want to serve you. Good beer poured how you like it and an excellent range of drinks. I have to admit it has Reschs so I was always going to be happy. A very good meal to boot so you can settle in well.

i used to love going here. New manager on a power trip and very rude. After visiting this place for the last 5 years i wont be going back until under new management.

Good ole fashioned pub. Friendly staff and reasonably priced food and drinks. Cant make reservation because if covid and was lucky to snag a table of 5 for a client lunch. Wouldnt know what to do if I didnt get that table.
