I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Concord, where I recently booked a two-night stay. Unfortunately, my check-in and check-out were on the same day due to several issues I encountered during my stay.
Firstly, the water temperature in the shower was extremely unstable, which made it impossible to take a proper shower. The water would suddenly turn icy cold or scalding hot without any warning, and I was unable to regulate it properly. This was especially problematic given the chilly weather during my stay.
Secondly, the noise level in my room was unbearable due to the bar located downstairs. The loud music and shouting went on until 2 AM, making it impossible to get any rest or sleep.
Lastly, the hotel did not provide a hairdryer, which was a significant inconvenience for me and my two female companions who had long hair. We were unable to dry our hair properly, and as a result, both of them caught a cold after their showers.
Despite my attempts to negotiate with the hotel staff, they refused to offer a refund or any other form of compensation. As a result, I have decided to take legal action to protect my consumer rights.
Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Concord to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay. The hotel's management needs to address these issues urgently to avoid further dissatisfaction and legal issues in the future.
