Staff member seemed annoyed when I entered the bottle shop just as she was leaving. No prices on stock in the fridge - staff member then got annoyed when I asked about prices. Felt rushed and unlikely to go back. They've also employed JB who the last owner sacked and was telling everyone that "she robbed me blind".

Stayed there last weekend with four mates. Great staff, great service and great food! The kitchen did a good job considering there was a widespread gas outage.??

A prefect place to stop by and be amazed by such beautiful, friendly staff and amazing food, the flavors pop in your mouth.

Stayed here a few weeks ago for a night, terrible experience. There was sh*t all over the toilet bowl and the heater didn't work which wasn't ideal for a 1 degree night. There wasn't even an electric blanket or anything. Room was tiny and cramped, not even close to worth the $129/night. The local patrons were very unwelcoming and the pub kitchen had closed when we arrived at 8:20 even though website said open until 9.

The food is great, staff very friendly. So for food is 5 stars. The cabin was really good and quite, and reduced to 4 only die to smell of smoke.

Really pleasant stay. Clean share bathroom and clean tidy bedroom. Quiet. Friendly staff. Fish n chips was nice. T-bone was more like a minute steak, very skinny and over priced. Beautiful building. Will stay again.

We were served warm food, it seems like they literally chucked the food in the microwave to warm and serve up such terrible food. I don't understand how this pub is still in business and we're never going back for a feed an absolute waste of money

I am not an expert on pubs, we just dropped in there for a good lunch and a light cold beer while we were passing through and that's exactly what we got. The fish and chips were better than what you get from some places next to the ocean, the staff were courteous, the beer was cold and the toilets clean. Happy Days!

This place is a bit run down, however you can say that about many pubs... not just rural ones. The meal I had there was ok but not anywhere good enough to justify the price charged. The range of dishes offered suggests that they are trying to please everyone and they would be better offering less choices that they can deliver consistently well. Wang is a pretty quiet place so when there is a disturbance everyone knows about it. If there are loud drunks or arguments, it always originates at the Commercial Hotel. Sometimes the police have attended. However, by comparison, I have never known the pub next door to have those issues so its not a reflection of the area, its something to do with this pub. Don't get me wrong. Commercial Hotel could be way worse, but it could also be way better... and I think it needs to be.

Ordinary - asked for steak mediun rare and it was well done. Overpriced for basic food. $8 for paper thin garlic bread. The kitchen hand needs to tie his hair up and staff should stay home if they have a cough.
