The food was great. Went the other night Tuesday Pasta night, was charged extra for a pasta dish that was on special, he said it wasn't on the board, but was advertised on there web page and plastered on the wall in the pub, wife complained and got a refund. So all good and the food was great.

Went out for dinner with a group and proceeded to wait over an hour for food that never arrived. Three lots of orders for one table. First lot of food came and every other customer who both arrived and ordered after us got their food. Apparently our orders never went to the kitchen. Considering we received our entree that's bull. Ended up going home and my partner going to get fast food as our baby was over it also.

Ordered take away meals were on time which was good but food very average ordered 2 steaks well done came out medium also garlic prawns very ordinary. Won't visit again.

I ordered the steak with chips and salad, steak and salad was beautiful, chips and gravy were average. Hubby had the chicken parmigiana with chips and our daughter had the kids steak with chips and sauce. Meals overall are decently sized and are nice.

Food was decent pub food. Service at the bar was terrible, however. We were served lager when we asked for pale ale. When we questioned if the barrels were connected to the right tap we were told "it's been checked". As we were walking away the young server said "pain in the arse". Luckily a friendly waitress in the restaurant went back and got replacement beers from the other bar.

Ok so im not happy at all. We went there tonight for my birthday, ordered the food, watched people who came after us eat before us, the staff looked overwhealmed and the place was empty. We waited 1hr 20mins for our food. At the 1hr mark i walked up to the counter to basically see what was going on and i wasnt given an apology, just basically shrugged off and told to wait. I wasnt being rude because hey! Its my birthday! I was super nice. Just to add my medium rare was blue (as if they didnt have enough time to cook it). We were offered a free drink to which i declined because i just wanted to get out of there asap as the guy singing a gotye song was way out of key and sounded like a tomcat tryna get laid.
Ultimately i was embaressed because we told our guests that the place was good because i heard from somebody it was. Shoulda stuck with what i know and gone to CQ.

went here for dinner for the first time in early October for my birthday dinner. purchased 2x rib fillet steaks with the chips and salad and wow... deadset the worst pub meal i've ever had. the steaks first of all weren't eye fillet at all. They were tiny pieces of what appeared to be rump steak which was not only overcooked and not med rare but was so full of grissle that you could barely even chew it. there was next to no salad or chips either and the salad was rendered inedible as it was absolutely drowned in generic sweet italian/greek salad dressing. I was in utter shock the moment the plates landed on the table and was instantly pissed off. The waiter seemed to avoid asking about how our meal was at all costs and quickly collected our plates without so much as a word as she could clearly tell we weren't happy with the meal's. We were so shocked we didnt say a word I had to go to KFC after eating 1.5 of the meals myself and buy another meal just so I was full. Honestly, it completely ruined my birthday and was just a terrible dining experience with terrible customer service. Feel extremely ripped off for spending $80 on these "meals" plus extra for drinks. absolute robbery

Worse paper thin chicken Schnitzel we have ever eaten and the salad was uneatable had the worst dressing tasted like dirty dish water. And the staffs service was disgraceful they need to learn to smile and be nice to customers or don't work in the hospitality industry. The whole place looked so run down. Go elsewhere and fi d another place to eat at. If I could give a negative star rating I would of.

Great atmosphere. We were a large group, the service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to return, very enjoyable

Had dinner which left alot to be desired , the food server walked around asking if the beef ribs was ours so I said no. After 15 min he comes back to our table and asked if I was sure the beef ribs wasn't ours so I said no I ordered pork ribs so he goes well these are yours so I replied no I didn't ordered beef ribs so he goes well these are pork ribs. The pork ribs were cold and tough and needed a knife to cut the meat of the bone. The meat should just fall of the bones. Not worth the money I paid for it

Had a delicious meal - steak cooked perfectly with a seafood topper- grateful they put the sauce on the side.

Had a meal here with my daughter's. The food was very nice, service was great. Beer garden is great. Don't like the dining room it's cold the tables are uneven and wobble.

The chefs really know what they are doing. All the different meals I've had have been very well prepared. Veggies are never overdone, various meats or fish have a good char when indicated, the ribs were very meaty and fell off the bone, the sticky date was truly amazing. (I still can't believe it.)

Staff have always been friendly and the space has a nice vibe to it. I really enjoy cooking here

Wow, had lunch here yesterday and have to say, Best T-Bone Steak I've ever had. Done to Perfection. Salad, Chips and Mushroom Gravy. What more could you ask for. Well done Commercial Hotel , Kitchen and Staff. Definitely 5 stars , would give 10 if I could.

We checked reviews before choosing this hotel and all looked good. It was also recommended by a friend. Our experience was woeful. Bar staff could not answer a simple question.Drunks who should have been cut off under RSA were swearing in the poker machine room.A girl was vaping in the dining area. Ribs were tough and stringy. We left without finishing our meal.We will never go back.

A response with "that's not us"or some other pithy excuse would be a waste of time so don't bother.

For anyone reading this review, the owner response is a fabrication. There was never any phone call nor has anything been discussed, let alone been resolved. Just another example of the poor customer approach.

Food was delishhhhhhhh. Had a steak sandwich and the steak was greaaat, had it rare and it was really nice. The chips that came with the sandwich were amazing 🤤.

Service was really good, however there was one person that took our order, accidentally put in the wrong food and drinks, handed out regular lemonade instead of pink lemonade. Crumbed steaks got mistook for steak sandwiches, therefore steak sandwiches were bought out :(. It did end up getting fixed by someone but we were asked to refund and then pay for our meal again? But we ended up not having to pay the difference as we paid 21.5 for the sandwiches and the crumbed steak was 25, therefore we got a discount for the mistake?

Anyway it was really good just one person who made a mistake but it was all sorted out appropriately :)

7/10 would definitely go again

The food was amazing and a great price for the serving size. The staff were extremely friendly, Nikita was especially nice, funny and very customer friendly. I absolutely loved her. And the cookies and cream cheese cake was delicious.

The wife and I had fish n chips not because it was only $18 (Friday night special) but because we just wanted fish n chips. 10 out of 10. Fish was beautiful, salad was plentiful, chips perfect and more than enough tartare sauce. Other meals that were being served looked amazing too. Shania our waitress could not have done more for us. She was friendly, efficient and just a real nice country girl. You won't be disappointed with a meal from the Commercial.

Went here for lunch this week. Was an amazing meal! The server was extremely friendly and helpful. The meal tasted great, the lemon lime bitters jug for $13 is great value! Serving size was massive! Overall an amazing experience! We got the feather and fins special 😊

We had lunch at the hotel and the staff and the service was AWESOME. I love my pork chops or cutlets and I must say I have never ever had a more tender and tasty pork cutlet on all our travels. Well-done guys, thank you 10/10!

Was so good, great service and amazing food! Would highly recommend anyone to go for a meal there. Also they checked covid vaccination as well. Very happy with our time at the commercial hotel!

We ordered two rump steaks and they were cooked to perfection. Chips and salad were delicious too. Well done ladies. Am definitely coming back.

2 Large dining areas so plenty of room. Service was great even though it was busy. Seafood basket was very good although the fish fillet was tiny. I would eat here again if in town.

5 stars absolutely- steak , chips and salad was fantastic. Bar staff even mentioned about the special for the evening. Bartender at the front put the cricket on and was very hospitable.
Beer was cold and the price for everything was reasonable . I'm just passing through , however I can definitely recommend this pub.

Stopped in while visiting my dad in Nanango. Food was absolutely lovely and atmosphere was great. We will definitely stop in again.

Had the pork knuckle. It was enormous, enough for two. The taste of everything on the plate was superb, the bite in the veg was just right, meat, perfection. Service very good. My only gripe? I'd have liked a hot plate! But that's my preference

Love this pub and its atmosphere always great to go to, prices are good wouldn't go to any other pub then this one. Friday nights are an even better night then any other night so go to the pub and have a good one mate
