Great gem of a pub. Don't be deceived by what it looks like on the outside which looks like an ordinary pub. Inside, the decor, service and food is akin to a five star restaurant. Great and surprisingly amazing place for a meal and personable service with delicious food. Worth taking a detour to stop by

Delightful place and great eclectic decor, would love to go to a function in that gorgeous old function room with antique furniture. Food delicious! Great atmosphere. Only improvement would be that the lamb meat salad could have a bit more actual salad with cucumber and finely sliced celery or grilled cauliflower to add extra interest and crunch. But flavours spot on! Thanks!

Drove up to Jamestown Commercial Hotel for dinner tonight. Delicious Honey Chicken with salad, and the wife had Spicy Lamb Curry with rice and naan. We ordered garlic bread and Wedges with sweet chilli and sour cream for entre. Out comes 5 pieces of garlic bread and I counted 55 large wedges. Big serves, great food, ordinary looking hotel on the outside, but lovely rustic decor on the inside. We'll definately be puttng this on our dinner list for the future.

Barmans' knowledge of beer is wrong.... Decor is over the top with posh English settings (they need to 'tone' it down).....Food is 8/10.... hubby loves his snitty, so we'll return. Not a local!

All country Hotels should be this well managed! Cannot be faulted. Great location, great atmosphere, the best pub fare, very clean and comfortable. The beer the food it all tastes better there. We're so lucky to have such an iconic hotel / motel in Jamestown.

Both the wife and I ordered the Sri Lankin Lamb Curry and was awesome especially if you are a spice lover. The owner Tim was there on his thrown and was welcoming as much as the staff were. Did have a chat with Tim for awhile and a great man to talk with. Thanks team for good night, nothing was an issue considering how busy it was. cheers and beers 🍻

Amazing steak cooked to perfection with generous serving of chips and salad. Lovely cold beverage to go with it. The hotel had been recommended to us by many Jamestown locals and it didn't disappoint. Great eclectic dining room which was a buzz with social tables. No televisions was much appreciated.

Travelling with a very particular hubby, when it comes to food! I was delighted that he enjoyed his Sri Lankan curry and said it was the best pub meal he's ever had! Trust me those comments are harder to get from him than golden nuggets!

I had the prawn gnocchi, I flipped and flopped a bit about choosing it worried the gnocchi would be stodgy (as it often is when eating out) but it was light and fluffy like little potato puffs. The prawns were yummy and the garlic sauce divine.

The young fella had spaghetti bolognaise and chimed in with it was incredible!

All round a very enjoyable and delicious meal, service was also great and friendly, can highly recommend!

Amazing little pub!

We had a lovely meal. The prices are very reasonable and the serving size was generous. My husband loved his beef schnitzel and my honey chicken was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The Butter Chicken & Spinach Ravioli were absolutely delicious.

We went for a meal at the Commercial Hotel, well it was amazing. I had the Lamb Shanks which means so soft and full of flavour. My other half had the SriLankin lamb curry which was amazing as well. It was that good we came back the next night for the same meal

A true gem of a country pub! Dropped in tonight for dinner, our second time here, and it was just as great as last time. Great selections on the menu with something for everyone and real quality and value. Good sized servings and great tasting food. Couple all this with the friendly service and stylish decor and you have a real winner! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

The room we stayed in was nice and clean. Had all the amenities needed for a short stay. The highlight of the stay was dinner, namely the cheesy garlic bread... I would do a 400km round trip just for this. Other food we had was also delicious, including the vegetarian pizza.

Nice little place to stay would have been better with a cooked breakfast option as we went down the main street for that,the meals for dinner were very good

Meal on 19/2/21 was ordinary to say the least, Crispy chicken more like Soggy chicken, think kitchen will need major improvement when Jamestown re-opens. Meals were excellent when Zoe was there but have deteriorated rapidly since she left. Wasted $22 as my meal went back to kitchen uneaten

One of the best stays in recent times.nStaff are very helpful..likes the hospitality..rooms are well.maintained..definitely go again..nStayed in flat..don't know about other rooms...nRestaurant food is awesome..my favourite is. Fishermen Basket..nThey packed me lunch for next day also...soo nice of them...

love it. i would say best motel - hotel in mid north area. you will never disappointed with this place. i wish i can stay longer in this place. great Accommodation with greats meals. and also service is brilliant too. multiple things to do while you stay.
