Still the best Pub in Aberdeen for a Cold Schooner and an awsome meal.

Nice little country pub on the main road through Aberdeen, at the bottom of the hill. Didn't get to stay very long but enjoyed a couple of cold ales. Some recent refurbishment has improved the beer systems etc, as well as regrassing some outdoor areas.
Friendly and convenient.

, the worker even fell asleep waiting on the meal,,, the publican kicked us out for a hard day work,,, terrible pub

First visit after a recommendation from a friend and we were very impressed. It's a midway point for a family catch-up and we will definately do it again. The service was outstanding, very friendly staff. The meals were all good and quite large. We all enjoyed our meals

Stoped for lunch best hamburger and chips ever

Arrived at the hotel for a drink after work. I went to get another round. I was the only person waiting at the bar to be served. The bar attendant was standing with her head down texting on her phone. So I waited and hoping she would look up so she could see me and I waited. When she finally came over to serve me. She said she didn't like the look I gave her. My response was that perhaps texting on her phone whilst a customer is waiting to be served was not appropriate while she is working when people are waiting to be served. I won't be back.

Meals are huge, although taste is average, would try to stop somewhere else for food next time. Stone and wood beers tasted fresh, it's a great place for a beer.

Out the back was a quiet beer garden for the restaurant that was nice, but I prefer the table out the front facing the road to watch the traffic go by.

Went for a lunch on a Monday and the service and meal were both excellent .

Travelling to Newcastle. Needed a place to stop in our camper for the night. Suggestion. Free camp at the ark ext to the pub.
Short walk to the pub for a drink and dinner.
First time visit.
It was packed but the service was fast and friendly. The bar staff were working flat out but still maintained good sevice with a smile. They even had time to help us with our questions about the area. We were from Western Australia.
As I said the pub was packed but the food service was the same. Quick, easy and friendly. You have to try their chilli corn bread with bourbon butter. O d the daily special which was a curried sausage pie with mash ? the other order was a parmy.
Both were beautiful. Well done and we will pass the word for this little gem.
I eben shouted the girls behind the bar a drink as they never stopped even helping woth clearing tables in the dining area. Great work ethic??'?

Food is very nice and stylish furniture are very nice too. Shame it's expensive and there soft drinks are flat recommended around lunch or dinner time with mates or friends.

We stopped for a night at the free park next door on our way from Sydney to Tamworth. The pub has a lovely beer garden out back with plenty of shade. Couldn't fault lunch. Cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. We've stopped at a few pubs with free camping faciities nearby and this one is definitely up there with the best. Recommended.

Fantastic place to have a meal. Very tasty food. Has hot Korean BBQ wings. Service is very fast and friendly. Good atmosphere. Only thing lacking is not having any craft beer available. Only has very basic beer options.

Great little Pub and Restaurant. Friendly staff. Food is awesome and Managers very friendly and helpful. Worth the stop if travelling through.

5 Stars for the fantastic restaurant meals and friendly staff. Their Crispy Salomon was just delicious and my partner loved his Steak.

The lady running the Resturant has A1 customer service, making you feel so welcome and at home. Meals were great, pie of the day with mash and peas + Salmon with crispy chat potatoes went down a treat.

Driving past, decided to go in . I found it pricey for the size of meat i ordered. Pizza was small, but fantastic. Cosy is what i would call this place...

I visited the pub in January, I had not long moved to the area and had a visitor so I decided to try the local food. Temperatures were well into the thirties here at this point and the air conditioner was not working properly. I raised it with the staff only to be told it had been like that for ages, so clearly the owners do not give a _ _ _ _ about their staff or customers. The menu was good and so were our meals however going out for a sauna was not the intention. We tried another pub after that then ate there everynight we were so happy.

Australias best steak sammo!! Im serious, none of this focaccia stuff, just a solid steak sammo and a cold beer. Its been way too long since Ive had one of these and I was truely awesome! Highly recommended!
