Not a hatted restaurant of course but compared to your average pub - the food here is really good. The chips are particularly remarkable.

I prefer RSL over pubs - so much quieter so you can actually talk (vs shout) to other people, and it's a good opportunity to pay respects to those who volunteered to give their lives to protect our shared beliefs.

Visited last night with a big family group. The food was really good and the service was great.
Exceeded our expectations after previous visits.

Do not be put off by the decor of this place. We just had the most beautiful lunch here. We ordered a steak sandwich and asked for two plates so we could share and they even went to the extra effort to add extra egg and cheese to make two perfect steak sandwiches (rolls) steak was melt in your mouth tender and delicious and chips fresh hot and crispy. Highly recommend!

We currently staying at Meredith Park Camping Grounds and we came down for a meal. Not sure why the low rating, everywhere I go I get chicken Parma and I rate them. This Parma it was delicious, 9/10 you guys should put your Parma up for competitions..

Kids eat all there meal also, and they were pretty happy with it.

Went here for tea 10/6/2023 food was very much below average staff were great service was good but that is where it needed due to poor quality of food we will not be going back

We had a nice lunch there today. The meals were well cooked and priced. I did feel for the chef who was cooking on his own and serving. The manager was doing a great job looking after the tables/bar and gaming. Staff are hard to find because it's so easy to sit at home. The place is well worth a stop in??'?

Very disappointed with my meal ,chicken snitz and chips .Chips must have been sitting for an hour chicken was like a sponge when I poured the gravey on it just soaked it up . I couldn't even eating half .??'???'???'???'???'?had better meals in a servo

This was very impressive! Had the steak, garlic bread and parma & overall really nice meals! Slightly high price point for the parma ($26) but porterhouse was exceptional value ($29).

Came in today for a Saturday lunch with my partner and mum. It was a great atmosphere with very friendly staff, there was definitely a sense of staff trying to create a great experience and do well with service. The steak was great value and cooked perfectly, parmi missed the mark a little at that price. A crumbed butterfly breast would have been better but the meal as a whole was really great, vegetables were cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Was a private function, well catered for as it was an afternoon tea.

Location on the main road is good but the interior is a bit depressing. Cold beer and pokies if that's your scene.

Great to have them open again so that the Rotary Club of Colac can meet on Wednesday nights again

Dropped in for lunch while driving through the area. Huge meals at very reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place has a dated charm which is what you look for in a country town. Nice and clean.
Will probably drop in again on the way back home.
