The bar staff are fantastic but wow the kitchen and dinner was a disgrace!
The parmy was dry and awful. $35 for a non breast, cheap heart schnitzel cooked from frozen
The meals on the special board were embarrassing in size, they were tiny. Specifically the lasagne. Sides were equally tiny you will leave starving.
The special of the night spicy chicken was 3 chicken drumsticks in soup.
Travelled extensively for nearly three years over Australia and the worst meal yet by far.
I suppose the chicken wings were OK but honestly can you mess them up?

The food was expensive and not worth it
The Crowd was interesting there was multiple people who would help them self over the bar and the staff allowed it owners, staff or customer shouldn't be reaching over the bar pouring their own liquor and I'm sure the liquor license wouldn't approve plus it not a good look
There was locals hanging around the front and staff smoking on the door step

The pub is run down and needs a face lift

Overpriced hence the star rating however food is great and the staff are cool as too . Pretty good

I ordered Fettuccini Carbonara, $26.00. I was dining with two others, their meal, were served, at least 10 mins before mine, seafood basket and kids nugget and chips.
When my meal finally arrived, could only be described as entree size. Giving credit it was tasty.
Another patron on leaving establishment stopped to mentioned to me of his disappointment in serving size of same dish. As a result can disappointing night out.

Friendly staff reasonable prices, unfortunately seafood basket was in very short supply several of our party had to make other choices food arrived fast and hot.

This is a modern pub with an old name. Itsapparently on the site of the original Cobb & Co coach stop. The old building is long gone, the is a new construction. They serve a good steak and Asahi beer on tap.

Firstly staff were very friendly, it's always nice for attentive and service with a smile. We forget were out west so prices can be a shock, but it is what it is I guess. Plentiful amount of food, filled the void. Older style pub, pretty quiet on a Monday night but look for the specials board in the bar.

Great museum to visit. It's free. Lots of things to see. Make sure you visit the aquarium in the entrance to the library. Amazing! The buildings are attached.

Best steak iv had for a very long time and only I could beat this one 😉, staff were great and friendley great place to stop for a feed will be back again for another steak

Great pub. Friendly staff who provide excellent service. We went there Saturday and Sunday and really enjoyed ourselves.

Less than impressed! The staff were less than friendly, we felt like an inconvenience rather than customers who were spending their money in their place of business. Maybe 1.40 pm on a Saturday is too late for lunch 🤷‍♀️ Not for us as we'd been travelling since early. We didn't order much because of the frosty reception, but the food was okay and edible.

Went to watch the footy at 4.30 and planned on having dinner at 6 pm. Went to the bar at 6 pm a grumpy old bag with scruffy grey hair said it's one minute to 6 so I can't take your order. Then she immediately passed me and took the meals order of a table of about 10 who were obviously mate's. Very disappointed as we have been Recomended for the food and pleasant staff. So walked out and went to the Australia pub around the corner. The woman should be removed and put on cleaning duties.
I hope someone reads this and acts because the venue looks great. We are only tourists from W.A.and most probably not be back but I will certainly tell people that if there is a grumpy old bag with grey hair behind the bar just walk out.

Third time going though St George and third time visiting the Cobb & Co. Great food and value for money. They picked us up from the holiday park and dropped us home once finished. Great menu and look forward to coming back soon !!

Great spot, Food is good, beer is cold and cheap, but most of all the service is great. They even have a courtesy bus to get you to and from. The staff are welcoming and attentive.
Well worth stopping by.

It's a great pub and nice and warm but the music was enough to drive us out. Look at your customers and play appropriate music. Not rap

Stopped here on our travels, the food was beautiful but there wasn't many vegetarian options and a lady behind us was saying she found a hair in her food so that was off putting.
Some of the staff were lovely but others looked like they would tarter be anywhere else (which I suppose you can't help in a small county town).
TV's everywhere .... maybe a few too many but overall a good place to stop !

I ordered steak which was nice, however the desert of sticky date pudding tasted horrible, it tasted like garlic and not that soft, then realised they ran out of plates so reused the plates so don't believe the plate was washed up properly,

Maybe they were ran off there feet that night.

Also there is no wheelchair access to get in, there is a big step so my husband had to get me up the step with can be a safety issue.

We had the best meals and the service was great. The evening ended with a Lemon Meringue Cheesecake.
Highly recommend you stop in for a meal if your in St George.

More than a 1 night stand.
2nd time around with the rib eye at Cobb and Co and I'll definitely be back for a 3rd. Beautifully cooked, fresh as vege & the beers were ice ice cold ❄.

I had the rib cob and it was so lovely. My husband had the parmigiana and he really enjoyed it. Clean and modern but still with character and charm. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good :)

MASSIVE Chicken Parmigiana! Nicely presented meal. It must be a favourite local spot, as the restaurant is very busy. Better than your average bistro meal. In the garden bar there are misters and fans to help keep people cool in summer. The interior needs a bit of a facelift.
