We enjoyed our meal. Shame they have stopped doing the Sunday Roasts. Also, the pork dumplings that were on the menu (which I was looking forward to) are no longer available.

I had the most delicious meal there. Lamb ragu parpadelle. Every bite was amazing. I had to make myself eating once I was full as the meal was so generous (for the price) but the taste kept bringing me back for more. Bar lady was a bit rude because I'm a bit deaf and asked her to repeat herself (emphasising like I was dumb)But everyone else was just so lovely and fun. Lots of laughter and enjoyment.

Have visited this area & the club for quite a few years, staying in the caravan park, love it here. Have had meals here over the last 3weeks & can't complain. Service was efficient & meals were good club food. My only complaint, having a special & running out too early in the night.

There for a post funeral wake. Lovely outdoor area that looks over the bowling greens. Good selection of tap beers. Standard quality of food. The place to be on a Friday evening for the meat and other raffles. Scotts Head has a lovely slow vibe about it. A pretty spot! Worth a visit.

Had the lamb rump special prepared by the friendly giant and head chef Teejay. Absolutely delicious. Had to come back the second night and have again. Unfortunately we're out the third night?

Absolutely beautiful experience with my two girls ..loving the upgrades since we last visit many years ago .. meal portions were massive .. fairly well priced and beautiful customer service from both bar and kitchen staff .. clean and tidy over all and sparkling amenities.. well done club Scotts ! Such a classic country club, old school, wonderful service and great food. I played here with my band a few weeks ago and the place was rocking. It is the go to place in Scott's for food, drinks and entertainment.

Well what to say. Ordered dinner at 6.00pm. Finally at 7.45 no show for meals and another 25 minute wait so we cancelled. Shame. Shame. Don't think we will bother going back.

ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTED, was told this place was great. The sign at the Bistro says could wait extended time for orders (over 1 hour) we waited 110 minutes (1hr 50).
The girls at the front serve no issues with them( worked their butts off great work girls), bar staff: young girl and guy all good but the so called on duty manager was an absolute pig, so scruffy, stuck of Alcohol, unclean, 5 day facial growth and shirt had stains on it. If that happened tonight, get another shirt, speak to customers with respect (we pay your wage).
Main gripe is two kids pasta ($11) for 12 little (coles brand) pene pieces, and a tablespoon of Neapolitan (again coles chucky Neapolitan )sauce, ooohhh the on duty manger stated "I saw the chef make the sauce" really!! What pour it from the bottle into a saucepan and heat it. Duty Manager wouldn't give me his name nor would other staff.
We may only be here on holidays but some of us spent time saving for it. $115.00 (including drinks (2 apple juice and beer)for 2 adults and a child at a club for the people FEELING UTTERLY RIPPEDOFF. I could go to 8 @ Trinity's Toronto for that price and be treated like royalty (and I did as treat for our anniversary).
I for one will be shouting from the roof top, DO NOT GO TO CLUB SCOTT.

Please someone, come forward to get the prize. Anyone, even just make it up. Lie. Cheat. I don't care. Anything to stop the announcer talking.

How this business hasn't had a sound audit is beyond me. How they aren't fined for excessive noise is insane.

But I've been told you do great food and takeaway too. So, an extra star for that.

Ben behind the bar....5 stars great barman that knows how to do his job over and above, ....Jordan the girl in the kitchen who struggles with chips and gravy within the hour should probably choose a different job...she may be good at licking stamps for the endeavour foundation, but I think she may need a little more training, she ruined my whole experience at the club, ...very sad when a so called chef gets flustered over a serve of chips and gravy....the rest of the club....and staff A1 ....Jordan.. look for a new career path love, there was another girl behind the bar that was very poor at customer service too, didn't get her name but yeah, dissatisfied and the staff except for Ben need more training in customer relations ?

Very disappointed with the time it takes for meals to come out 1-1/5hrs. Yes menu has improved significantly.

We had some young families head to the club from the caravan park for a bowls and live entertainment afternoon. The kids loved the outdoor area and the adults loved club priced drinks. We had dinner there after the music stopped and the meals were huge and great quality. Value for money and a fun venue. A lot of improvements and changes lately has made Club Scotts an icon in beautiful Scotts Head.

If your in Scotts Head, passing through, in holidays, get to the Club for a beer and a feed. The new bistro operators have set the standard for pub food, the $15 steak was the best steak I've had in a long time anywhere and a serving of chicken wings on the side were tender and were the perfect accompaniment. Great varied menu. Great range of beers on tap and a great friendly place for a punt at the TAB.

Oh my word. What a massive improvement in the food. Had the burger and loaded fries, others had the dumplings and schnitzels. The garlic sauce!!!! Amazing! We were blown away. The wait was so worth it.
Whoever has taken over knows what they're doing. We will be back for sure. Also tequila mojitos were so good!!!

Note to readers : 'Swell' has changed hands recently (since approx June 2022) so reviews beforehand do not relate to the current food and quality experience which is AWESOME !! Menu is great. ( really elevated ) you can review it online and caters for all . Portions are generous without compromising great taste . The new owners really know what they are doing and the staff are friendly and efficient . It's a Club! The atmosphere is a Club. It's what you expect. Scotts has been waiting for this . What a lovely little place is Scotts Head. We called into your Club on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised at your wonderful Club. Friendly atmosphere and your staff are a credit to you. Then we decided to dine in your Bistro. Absolutely fabulous food and the young ones enjoyed the Pizzas. Everything was fresh and delicious and arrived at our table hot.Staff were helpful in their suggestions and courteous to boot. Will dine there again and again!

What a delightful surprise it was to dine at your club. We had a small celebration and it made for a wonderful experience for our family and myself. The food was wonderful and such a big serving for such a small price. Such a varied menu and something for all tastes. The Chef made sure that all meals were hot when presented to the table and no one had to wait for their meals. The staff were effecient and professional and made us feel so welcome. I will be recommending your club to all our Queensland friends who like us, call the road our home for the better part of the year. Well done to your Bistro staff. 5 stars.

Absolutely beautiful location. Great staff with great outdoor area for some barefoot bowls and kids to play. The courtesy bus picked us up from our motel and so friendly and accommodating. Will be back

My gosh, reading recent reviews you think the club would amend their problems but after my recent visiting to this club I have to say nothing has changed. Bar staff give my hats off to are friendly, welcoming and are great at their job. And then a complete flip when you go to order your dinner. Staff were grubby and not helpful, one waitress in particular Sarah (who was obviously in past reviews not just rude to me) was rude and unpleasant, she spoke rudely to my father who was simply ordering and paying for the family and didn't care to listen. Food is absolutely disgusting and could do with a new menu and some decent chefs who know good food. Managers really need to take a closer look at there reviews and fix things.

Rude staff, meals very disappointing, some even cold. Dont even think of asking to swap out salad for veggies....to hard for the staff to manage. And for the love of god dont have a gluten free child! Your only option there is a Hawaiian pizza with no possibility of changes!
