Had most enjoyable night here with some friends before a concert. It was a Monday evening, but the venue was bustling and lively. Food and beer choice was excellent. Calvin made us all feel so welcome, had a great chat and laugh with us, and looked after us so well. Thanks so much for that! Will defnitely be back ????

I ordered a burger, but the buns were burnt, the beef patty was hard to chew, and the chips were cold. It was the worst burger I have ever had. I'm very disappointed.

Great atmosphere with plenty of seating, clean, 2 levels with outdoor terrace and balcony to people watch. Can find parking in smaller streets (mostly 2P) Food was enjoyable for a pub, would frequent again if in area

This pub is a real place to spend the afternoon and night. You have several and different stuff to do, they have pokies where you can play, also you can play pool.

The music is great, you have e 2 DJ playing downstairs and upstairs.

I was really disappointed tonight. I have been a regular in the past and always loved the Tuesday night special. Steak frites. It's always been a great steak. Good size. Thick cut. Rare. Tonight was terrible. A small skinny steak, inedible gristly bits, and certainly not rare (would be difficult to cook it that way given how skinny it was). Doubt I'll be back ?

Great venue for the football world cup. Unfortunately, the young guy at the bar who may have been a manager or supervisor had no expression or warm welcome and looked like he didn't want to be there. Other staff were nice, but he was a misery who should consider a career change.

I don't normally review pubs but honestly, the staff yesterday were so incredibly lovely! The night was chaos with the Matildas playing, but both the woman I booked with and the guy running around sorting the bingo were a delight. They helped me change my booking, grab me extra sauce, answered questions about the menu and came to update our bingo cards when the players changed. What a delightful bunch of people that work at The Clock!

We didn't eat , just stopped by for a beer. The place is nicely decorated and has an amazing balcony on two side where you can watch the world go by. A good selection of beers and a Happy hour. The staff were friendly and polite. My first visit and I will be sure to visit again.

Great truffle fries and tasty mussels. Good portion sizes and the staff are friendly. I've been here a few times for dinner and like that they have a mobile ordering app which makes it easy to order food and drinks without needing to queue, although, the mobile ordering system was not working correctly the most recent time we were there.

Just your average experience. The inside of the place is nice, but honestly it's nothing out of the extraordinary. Food is priced above average but the quality cost match the cost.
Their options on tap are nice, but you're better off at a smaller pub with better service, it's kinda hard to get your order.

Pub was open 10am, sharp. Not overly packed at 10am. Tables had barcodes so no need to go to the bar for food OR drinks. Menu is very simple so easy quick decisions to be made - no agonising. Food was pretty much identical to the photos. I had the smashed avo for $10 only! Price was brilliant. Goats cheese was abundant as was the avo. Upstairs barman gave the best service I've had in a long time, especially considering he was the only one on and the place was swamped! Absolute legend! Also, view is amazing and lots of furriboiis walking past - such cute!

Amazing new pub menu with a French twist. We had the croque madame, confit duck leg salad, steak frites, and daube of wavy beef and they were all extremely delicious. Service was fairly quick.
Nice outdoor courtyard at the back which is sheltered from the wind: perfect for a sunny arvo drink.

Classic Surry Hills icon that's good of all crowds. Dog friendly and not too packed during the day. Trying to do French inspired brasserie food and usually turns out quite well, duck confit was lovely. Kitchen can be very slow though, so leave plenty of time, especially before Swans games.

Quite easily one of the best pub burgers I've ever had. Came on the Burger deal Monday $20 Burger + Beer. I ended up having 2, they were so good and can't recommend enough. Really accommodating and nice staff, huge venue with pool table and lots of space, good balcony. I will be visiting again and recommending

They have 2 incredibly funny bar tenders. Quirky and excited. Though it was disappointing that they didn't know what Irish creme was.

The prices are a bit higher than I'm used to. The atmosphere is great. The seats are good. The beer was nice too.

3.6 - Came here with a huge group. We expected pub food but did notice that it was French themed. Friendly service and food took awhile to come but that was fine as we were all chatting away. Friend didn't like her Croque Madam (and gave up after 3 bites) and I found my duck in the Confit duck salad quite dry but the bed of salad was ok. Forgot to ask about the Burger. It gets quite rowdy and crowded later in the nights, but no early dinners because the kitchen does close. Atmosphere ok! Service ok! Food not so great. It's unique for a pub to serve French food so give it a try and see how you feel.

Easily one of the best pubs in Surry Hills. Heaps of options for a casual drink or a big get together. Staff are always friendly and service is good considering how busy it can get in peak periods.

All pubs now are funky diners charging$15 for a glass of wine - nice ambience for a old pub otherwise

Thanks for the response. Sorry, is it not about customer service and value? There seems to be a negative customer service attitude that I have personally experienced a few times subsequently at your establishment. How about fixing that arrogance, serving and pricing at pub prices and not inferring about a consumers price range in your response. Feedback shoud be valued not snidely responded to in my view. The issue is clearly apparent in your response.

The staff here were super nice though the place was fully packed.
They have so many different rooms and spaces that you can easily find a place you like based on your taste.
The food and drink selections were also good. So I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in surry hills

Heavily reduced menu with far more basic options compared to previous menu. Same applies to wine list. Service was good enough considering these testing times.

Overpriced but good menu and atmosphere

Been here a couple of times this month, warm, friendly and great to see them keeping it safe. Had the best margaritas ever.
