The refurbishment here is superb. Great ambience, very good food, excellent service. A totally new pub, we'll be coming back ... lots!

I was hesitant to visit this place with family as I had heard few bad things about its atmosphere but tried it last night and absolutely loved it (except the cashier girl who made us wait for a minute as she was chatting in the kitchen and ignoring us) Good beer, polite floor staff, tastely food, correctly cooked stake and lamb shank, good vibes. We will be back for sure.

Great pub and friendly staff,renovations are almost complete and bistro is open, beer garden is now being renovated. Only problem is the acoustics in the public bar need improvement as it is a bit of a echo chamber

No Bistro, the Duo were stuck down the bottom of the beer garden only just out of the rain but barely, there wasn't much seating that wasn't in the rain & it was the smokers section & they had no bottled water for sale only sparkling, it may have been better if it wasn't raining but I won't go back to find out ?

Great little pub in Chittaway Shopping Centre. Wonderful friendly staff. Only went in the VIP Gaming room on my break. Great music played on their sound system.

Chittaway Bay Tavern is undergoing a major renovation & therefore cannot currently been seen @ its best, however live entertainment was playing Sunday afternoon, The staff were friendly, a ham raffle took place, seating was available inside & outside which also features one of those children's play enclosures with tunnel towers.keno ,Tab ,& gaming machines are still available during this time of renovation. A price of $ 6.50 was available for beer pints between 12 & 3pm.All in all a good afternoon ?

We were only travelling thru & felt like a small, light lunch. The bistro is being renovated, so no food, but the barmaid encouraged us to get food from the local places (with good recommendations) & bring it back to have in the beer garden. She was so accommodating. We did exactly this. Local bakery is fantastic & the drinks were excellent & ice cold... I want to visit here again. I love the name of the town as well ???

I got physicslly assaulted by 3 bikies at chittaway pub today at my best friends mums wake & asked by the owner to leave after not even retaliating at all. Infront of many witnesses. I should have had police called on my behalf by the pub.. disgraceful. When are the innocent made out guilty, Infront of a waking family after a funeral. We were only there for 30 minutes. 2 beers. Total Joke!!!

Two Up was awesome! Friendly guys in the ring. Everyone was happy and having fun. Oh and a sausage sizzle!

Snitty dry and overcooked there was so much cabbage on the plate I couldn't tell if I ordered salad or coleslaw. Our fish was also deepfied way too long, I wonder if he was a chef or just a line cook. I think a cook

It is under renovations and area's are blocked off. But as always service and staff are great. Covid19 access is required and checked. Can't wait till it is completed, meals were great.

Absolutely had a great time. The staff are very friendly the bistro was very good. I had Nachos it was fantastic large serve really too much for one person.

Food is fantastic and atmosphere is pretty good too. I definately recommend you try the loaded fries they are to die for.

Went to Chittaway Bay Tavern for a birthday dinner. Placed our order at 6:40pm went to pick our meals up to find one meal which was ment to be a ham and cheese pizza had been made incorrectly was pineapple and cheese. Explained it was wrong and they said they would remake it and bring it out to us. Although they didn't take our buzzer. We waited half an hour, went to check if it was ready to be told they had already "buzzed it out and it has already been collected" I showed them my buzzer and that it had not gone off. Lady at the counter then turned to the chef who said it was in the oven. Waited another 1/2hr and went back to ask again and was told again it had already gone out to our table. Once again I told them we didn't get our pizza they lady argued with me that we did. I showed her our buzzer and it hadn't gone off. She then asked the chef to make it again. I said not to bother and asked for my money back. The lady then stated I would have to wait as she had to get food out to tables. I eventually got my money back, but no apologies or anything. I get they were busy but this was beyond a joke.

Cracking TBone for lunch, both cooked exactly the way we asked, super generous size at a ridiculous $18 each! Staff are very friendly, and the music ... well let's just say, best pub mix ever

$22.00 Pad Thai that came after 50 minutes of waiting despite ordering 5 minutes past them opening for dinner at 6pm. It also incredibly burnt. See photos. Will not eat again. Open kitchen means we as customers can see the kitchen staff talking. Would not recommend at all.
