Bullies can't understand Thai. Nowadays, technology is very advanced, and everyone can take photos and translate with their mobile phones. It says that paying $30 more in cash can offer a 5% discount. We do not offer discounts on cash payments for $54.7 of our expenses. The reason is not students, but quietly added a STUDENT to the paper 5 minutes later. I will never consume again. No freaking way. so if you can't afford it, don't play?

We have been coming at the restaurant ever since opened and it's our weekend main menu. Food is fantastic and safety. Services is suites the environmental. Staffs are friendly and best understanding their role. Overall it is 4.5 stars.

Look you can get much better at many places close by and not end up in the toilet forever the next day. The food quality has gone down over the years. Security are a bit of a worry as well. I saw them stopping an old couple walking thru to George St for no reason at all. They really need to look at their security system.

I was expecting to enjoy my dinner with friends on Thursday night. However, the staff members were unpleasant, rude and more interested in messing around with each other. Obvious cliques are present in the work place and when we were deciding to order, staff members appeared to be annoyed at us especially the chubby girl who took an order.

Like other reviews, Charlie Chans does not provide "service with a smile". Staff members are not kind to their customers and mostly seemed to be more interested in their own personal conversations.

I've been a customer for a couple of time, after my recent experience, I no longer be visiting this particular store.

Management should look into providing their staff with more customer service training.

Love this bar. Happy hour 5 until 7pm Mon to Fri. Great atmosphere and vibe.
Food is ordered from the Thai restaurant located at the back of the pub. Cheap and pretty good food.
It is a small venue so hard to get a table sometimes. The seating arrangements could be so much better. So much space wasted with big soft and easy chairs.

Noisy bar with a jug of mohitos (quite good) but disappointing food! The rice was good but I suggest you go to Porkfat for great Thai food.

Haven't been back here in ages, but the food still hits the spot. Atmosphere matches the pricing, which is very reasonable and the quality of food is super yummy.

Use to be my weekly spot, and now I need to come back soon to grab some more crispy pork yums

Amazing authentic Thai food and readily made, plenty of seating and convenient location.

An old favourite. Great location now the tram stop is here!!. Great atmosphere any time of day or night. Great beer. Also a great selection. Staff are immaculate always. Pokes are a bit of fun. The highlight of Charlie chanson is the back entry with the best food at the best prices. Unpretentious good food.

Not sure about the bar but the thai food here is LIT!! So authentic, delicious, reasonable price and served relatively quickly. I go to thai restaurants for their authenticity so I dont mind the street food vibe. Their papaya salad is a must! Have visited weekly for past 2 months.

After attempting to navigate the rather large step from the lightrail platform with my disabled leg to cross the line to come to your establishment at 8.30 this evening I was refused entry with my husband and parents for being apparently "intoxicated" because of the way he witnessed me navigating the large step. When I explained to the doorman and showed him my leg . He was extremely rude. Left embarrassed and upset. Thanks you've lost our business this evening .

You can get great Thai food here but try to get in early to get a seat. During busy times you can always find somewhere out back where the food is prepared. Good prices and they have happy hours which you should check online. Ok selection of beers and next to the tram stop.

The food and atmosphere were good. However, the fact that the waitress took the glasses away while we were drinking ruined the experience. Please improve your service.

Probably the best bar within a short walk to the Capitol Theatre. Great prices for drinks. Fantastic happy hour. Thai food that you acquire from the back takeaway is pretty delicious too. Loved the salt and pepper squid. Great bar snack

It states on wall trading hours till "midnight" but on google states till 11pm.
If you guys are in rush to close your kitchen then don't dare to take order nearly to 11pm.
I teach you in proper way to educate you. Say to customer: "Sorry, kitchen is close and we do take away only" this might be better.

A lady/a man; I don't know his/her gender, a woman looks like a man, taking my order rudely.
I was asking info about the food, s/he didn't respond then I just choose any. Next, I want to pay but there's a problem with my card s/he also unhappy with rolling eyes and hizz.

I ordered pork skewers but it came fish balls and insists that was what I ordered before.

I had the pork bbq with rice for dinner but I only had like a quarter of the meal.
It doesn't taste freshly cooked. ☹️
The colour doesn't appeal me too as I am not a fan of raw food tbh especially meat.

Fast service for drinks. Nothing special really. Good for pokies players but not much else to do. The booths to sit and drink are cool and have a chill vibe. bathroom's are not the best

Recently found out about this venue. Pretty chill layout. Love that they have a private room kind of environment fitted with sofas for playing pool with friends. Good music and great place to relax any day of the week.

Nice place for a drink and meal. they have Thai restaurant that you can eat in the pub. Drinks are in good price as other ordinary pub.
there are some pool tables, and round/semi private seats behind of the bar.

The pub is in Thai town, it is easier for me to walk next door and get the same meal than to walk two blocks to an ATM ???

Good place all week round.

Favourite bar in the city. The go to place for me and my mates. Friendly staff, cheap, reasonably priced drinks and a very relaxing environment to kickback and have a good time. 10/10 would recommend this joint to everyone.
