Our favourite place to go to on the weekend. Food is wonderful with generous portions, excellent value for money. Daniel is amazing with a kind word as soon as you walk in the door. We enjoy the pokie venue, Peter and the rest of the Bar staff are friendly and attentive.

Excellent Venue. All staff are friendly & welcoming. Daniel is an absolute Gentleman at the door. Whilst Peter & Staff can not do enough to make you feel welcome. The food is always first class, with generous portions. Highly recommended.

Me and my friends recently visited the pokies venue and had an outstanding experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for a fun night out. What really stood out was the exceptional service provided by Rashis. He was incredibly friendly and made sure everyone felt right at home. I highly recommend this venue not just for the entertainment, but for the excellent service, fantastic coffee, and the clean, safe environment.

Great staff. Food needs more vegetarian options. Kids were happy.

Booked for 14 of us for a family event. No one came to our table at all until we called them out.
Entrees came out pretty fast.
Mains took nearly 1.5hrs. Mind you it was a very quiet night.
All the while we were watching the chefs lean back and chatting. All other tables had been served and got their food before us.
Two of our guests decided to refund their items and leave because their kids were getting restless, hungry and tired.
When we asked the waitress where our meals are, the chefs finally started working. Mains came out straight away after that, well after 8pm.
Because it was so late we asked if we could have our meals as takeaway because we live 1.5hrs away, they said no due to potential food poisoning reasons. While I understand that, we wouldn't be asking for takeaway if you actually gave us our food in a reasonable time.

To top it off.
They don't split bills.
So someone had to pay the $800 bill out of their own pocket and we had to transfer money to them.

An absolute shambles of organisation.

Attended this renovated venue 5 days ago for a retirement function held for a colleague. Wow it looks fabulous now. Really snazzy. The Italian regional map outside is great. I stood there looking at the regions I've been to....last visit it was Trieste. The food was plentiful, delicious and such a great night out. Highly recommend.

The place has been re-furnished, and it has new design and has a new menu and the food was absolutely beautiful. The service was attentive.. absolutely loved it. The whole place looks amazing. Absolutely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our function in the ballroom today being entertained by DJ Con. He definitely got the crowd going and the kids loved all his games and surprise gifts... So generous thanks Con music was also great!!
Food was delish and now considering booking for Xmas lunch.

Tasty food and great service, just felt 12 gnocchi in a bowl wasn't really enough for a meal (everyone on our table commented on the small size of the pasta compared to other meals) especially given they aren't the cheapest place in town.

Good food, nice set up. Young staff friendly making the guest feel welcomed. However one senior female staff is very rude and kills the atmosphere. Going for for dinner is supposed be more than just a feed and this lady spoils it.

First time here, attending a graduation in the function room. The club has part of it under renovation so entry and parking is not as smooth as usual presumably. Staff were helpful and the function went smoothly in the large room with raised staging area. It looks like the building has been recently renovated, with some works still not completed.
Only thing I thought was strange is the function room didn't seem to have its own restrooms. You had to leave the function area and go to the opposite side of the large common foyer area, adjacent to the bistro and gambling area.

Very nice pizza and other dishes . Well put together tasty . Nice place with quick and helpful service .

Fantastic experience at the Casa D'Abruzzo Club. Staff worked very hard with passion and love and spoilt us. They gave us an unforgettable night with our family and we are very grateful. We highly recommend Casa D'Abruzzo Club for any occasion. It's a wonderful place for families and everyone, a place you feel very welcome and well looked after, a place you can call home. Thank you again to all the amazing staff!

Service great. Food, fir a big venue, was tasty, served hit and with lots of variety . Good place.

Beautifully renovated. Friendly staff. Waiter took our orders without writing them down. Never messed any of the orders. Definitely
coming back. ❤️

We had a party in the "The Members Room" for 80 people,

We were able to start decorating it at 10am for a 7pm start event. This worked out well for us since we finished the decorations at 3pm. It gave us enough time to prepare and get other things sorted out.

From start to finish, the staff were always courteous, nice and friendly. They seemed to always had a smile ... maybe we were a good crowd :)

Food-wise, it was basic finger foods. Nothing fancy but it sufficed and there was a lot of it.

Parking was ample -- even with another event happening in another function room and people at their Pokies section.

There were some construction going on but it did not interfere with the event.

Overall it was a good venue and great staff!!!

I'm leaving the remaining half star when I come back and try out the Cafe and the Pokies section. :)

Not great with salads. Lots of meat and seafood. Ambience is nice. Great service. Love the waiters...so patient. Sorry no food pics. Next time.

Went on Parma night. Great Parma choice of three sauces really large serve with chips and salad for only $18 Great value and service. Parma could have been served hotter. Bit cold when it arrived compared with chips which were nice and hot.

Staff were great food was good chicken Parma bit dry no chicken flavour.overall nice atmosphere.

One of the best Italian clubs in Melbourne, if not the best. A great place for to go for family functions and live shows. I even saw Joe Avati with Il Dago here in 2008 and it was a great gig.

Mon night steak night - No-one allocated to seat diners. Had to wait for the only waitress taking orders to finish before we were seated. Lucky I brought my walking stick otherwise was ready to collapse standing there waiting. We were seated and no-one brought water and menus to the table. Other people seated after us got water and menus first. Had to stop a passing waiter and ask for water and menus. Very poor service- no allocated waiter/waitress to our table. We stopped another waitress asked for bread rolls and were given stale bread rolls. They charged .50c ea for stale square buns. We ordered a garlic pizza and wedges. Wedges were great, pizza was 4/10. Ordered porterhouse - med well and medium. Medium with gravy and other with mushrooms sauce. They mixed up the steaks and gave medium to wrong person. Steaks were both over cooked- one charred on bottom - both had inedible grizzle on ends. The medium was over cooked and only the thickness part was medium the rest was well- done. We asked for crispy chips and did not get crispy chips, they were flavourless and first time ever we did not eat them on both plates. After informing the waiter at checkout very politely that we are unhappy with the meal and the lack of service - he apologised to me but the chef who came to listen decided to deny that the steak I ate was not part well and part medium and basically said the steaks were given to the wrong person. No apology no kind words. I did not want to argue with him by telling him I am also am a restauranteur and know what I am talking about - I informed them we were not coming back again and paid the $85 bill and left. The worst service and meal had for many years.

Food is well presented and fresh. The band (Melody one) were very good. Plenty of free parking.

We had a nice meal of tasty garlic prawns and lovely broccoli soup at the bistro. Good value for money.
