Only ate at the Restaurant so can only comment on that.

A beautifully restored building let down by subpar food and drink. The pricing is relative and neither cheap nor expensive. The food itself was bland and flavourless. The portions for dessert were odd and seemed rationed like they were running out.

Hopefully the publican can sort the kitchen out because the venue itself is really nice.

One of the best, if not the best, Pub in the Southern Highlands. Food, drink, atmosphere, and service is great. Sitting in the beer garden in the afternoon on the weekend, with live music, is a sublime experience. It's got that old English or Scottish friendly pub vibe about it.

First time and blown away with the service and quality of this hotel. Staff went above and beyond several times in our short time there. Restaurant is amazing (and easy to see why), very popular so make a reservation. Thank you so much to the manager who quick fixed any issues we had, we will be back!!

We went down memory lane this week and revisited the Bundanoon Hotel after many years. We were happily surprised to that part of the hotel had been upgraded and part still has the old world charm of yesteryear.
Staff were friendly & accommodating. Rooms very clean, linen fresh & crisp and towels soft & white. Dinner was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed oue stay.

The Bundanoon hotel, is such a pleasant stay for me, the beds are super comfortable, (so comfortable, how can you not sleep in?!) The staff are always so lovely and do so much, amazing hard workers and they're all just so lovely to chat to and are helpful, and even at times, when my anxiety has been bad when I wake in the morning, with checking out, it was okay for me to check out slightly late and it means a lot, not just to have this accommodation when I'm in the Southern Highlands, but to be accommodated for my conditions, and it's just truly beautiful to me. Bundanoon hotel, this is commendable. Thank you.
It's also so lovely, that you can store your stuff, if you have just arrived or are too early, and they just in general, make Bundanoon, so relaxing and fun to visit. And did I mention the food?! The food is amazing and so good and just yeah, wonderful staff and the live music is so great to chill to and it's great to support artists, how they do!! ?
I could say so much more, but this place has such a history and the best way to feel the history?! Visit the town and stay a night or two!!

The accommodation is quite good for a hotel. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The food is pricy but the quality and choose is very good. Drinks are also pricy so you should get one of their members card if you plan to go there often. The are a number of bar and lounge areas. The main lounge area is quiet and relaxing especially when the open fire is being used. Overall Bundanoon is a great place for short holiday. There are plenty of activities for bush walkers and those who like great scenery. There are also coffee shops and other restaurants in town. You can get there easily by rail. The hotel is directly opposite the station.

Went here for a meal and found all selections chosen absolutely delicious. All servings quite large, so do not order entrees if you are not a big eater. Service prompt and efficient. Meals cooked perfectly and take away packet supplied if unable to eat meal. Ambience great but would recommend booking a table as very busy. The only negative i could give would be that the main meal followed the entrees too quickly so maybe ask for a delay. Would definitely eat here again and do recommend this place highly to people looking for somewhere to eat. Unable to comment on accommodation as did not stay. Hotel very close to railway stn, has a carpark as well as street parking both sides of rail line

We can only speak about the pub...and what I have to say is that the service was excellent and so was the food. The prices were fair - meaning good- for the quality in my opinion ! I love the old hotel and would love to stay there some time too. It really has the feel of an old Scottish inn.

The hotel is a lovely building. That's the only lovely experience about this hotel.
The entrance the hotel smelt of cat urine upon entry.
The food was horrendous, especially for a pub to have no garlic bread or basic Australian meals.The food is obviously frozen, which made it a horrible meal for the hefty price you pay for it.
Post mix at the bar wasn't up the scratch soda water didn't seem to be working.

Had an amazing weekend away in Bundanoon. Had 40 friends come and stay and the Hotel staff could not be more friendly, efficient and all our needs (us more) were accommodated!
The rooms were beautifully renovated and the mattresses very comfortable!
Highly recommend this venue for a weekend away to dinner or drinks!

Can only speak for the bistro & bar, all in all quite good & not overpriced.
They often put on live music at the restaurant area, the choices are appropriate & create a lovely atmosphere.
Food is always great & very friendly staff.

The Bundanoon pub is an old fashioned country pub with touches of Scotland. The cosy open fire, pictures of Scottish lads and beautifully woven throws on the beds were what made an impression on me.
We had a delicious meal at the restaurant and then retired to our very comfortable, peaceful and inviting room on the first floor. The room was clean and warm and the beds "just right".
It has been a very enjoyable sojourne into the country.

There was a very large group of us which was not normal for this Hotel. But they were amazing! We all got our meals in a good time. They were friendly and happy to accommodate us. Will definitely go again!

Stayed Saturday night in a family ensuite room. Room was nice neat and warm. Shower was hot and beds comfy. Had dinner and breakfast. Both excellent. Service was excellent. Great old pub in a beautiful village. Great value. Great place for Southern Highlands base for bushwalking, mountain bike riding, Saturday night stop for weekend motorcycle ride. Good for groups. As for the negative reviews I think some people miss the point. It's a pub next to a train line in a village. If you want ultimate luxury and quiet go and stay at the plethora of big name hotels for 4 times the price and zero charm and atmosphere. I for one loved the experience.

Ate lunch here for the first time today, lovely atmosphere, staff lovely as was the service. The food really good. My only issue was the Greek salad was listed as a side dish, but was a much bigger serving size than a side dish and I would have ordered just that on its own.

I really liked my stay at this grand hotel. The service exceeded expectations, and the food was delightful. Our room overlooked the beer garden and it was nice to hear the happy people chatting and laughing below.
However, the room needs block-out curtains as the festoon lights over the beer garden kept the room lit up until 12:55am when they were turned off.

We booked into the Bundanoon Hotel and were utterly delighted with the entire experience. The beautiful old building enchants visitors with heritage bedrooms and charming restored bistro. Both the food (we had two incredible seafood pastas) and the service from Shan and Rory were amazing and made us feel right at home.
Highly recommend to stay if you're ever in the area.

What an awesome hotel! My family and I had the most delicious meal here on a Saturday night and the service was impeccable! Super personable staff that made you feel very welcome.
Then we went into the bar area to listen to the phenomenally talented band Leaving Reality! The Bundanoon Hotel has wonderful energy, and the both times I've been there have been fun-filled and incredibly positive ?

Beautiful, historical old pub! There's so much history, you can feel and see it all around you. The maintenance of the building is amazing and the food at the restaurant is awesome! A tip if you are staying, make sure that you book as we were there on a Thursday night and it was packed!

We had a great afternoon and night here. It's a beautiful, old-fashioned pub with multiple rooms, a dining room and a fireplace (perfect for this rainy afternoon & night). The staff were great, good vibe. We stayed the night in a very basic room with shared facilities, which I was initially dubious about, but it was all spotless and perfect for what we needed (something quick and easy, we had to leave at 6:30am the next day). There was parking suitable for trailered vehicles around the back. Beware of the ghost in Room 36...

Our visit here with friends was delightful. Staff members were friendly, and the food was delicious - what a lovely way to spend a Sunday lunch/afternoon at Bundanoon Hotel. Open fireplace on a cold winter's day, and this build is a grand lady, well loved. All our friends were pleased with the meals, and I can highly recommend the Slow braised lamb shoulder

I adore this hotel. Incredible value. The renovated gin bar is one of my favourite bars, best selection gin in the most stylish of bars. I've stayed here 20-30 times and had a great time every time. Love the open fire with the leather lounge in the dining room. Staff are always friendly and professional. Woodfire pizza is yum and Bundanoon is the most charming little country town. Winter is warmed by central heating and in summer the beer garden is lovely set amongst the pines with festoon light at night. Considering getting married here.

Love this pub. A great outdoors area for kids to run around. It even has a pool open in summer. On winter days you can head inside by a large roaring fireplace and order a pint of locally brewed beer. Great food from the kitchen and amazing wood fired pizzas.

Great find and good pit stop travelling to Victoria. Very affordable, clean rooms, comfy beds, lovely old pub with open fire and good food. Great live music (before lockdown kicked in)

A Grand Hotel from a bygone era . Whats lacking , these days , by way of all the amenities of a modern day brass and glass hotel is more than made up for by it's old world charm . A place that feels comfortable to sit and chat with fellow guests and enquire about what brought them to Bundanoon . We loved it .

Very old fashion but great family room comfortable beds plenty of room great price would absolutely stay there again. Food also fantastic staff very helpful.

Well maintained hotel close to the train station. We stayed here for a night, we went with low expectations but left really happy and satisfied. The room was a decent size with a sink inside, lovely old hotel with a lot of character.
The food was really nice, overall we enjoyed our stay here!
Check in/out was smooth, no need to leave your credit card.

This is the kind of hotel you stay at if you just need a place to sleep, rather than relax and enjoy.

I stayed in a double room with a shared bathroom on the ground floor. Room was decent and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the windows were frosted so there were no views. Mobile reception was terrible and the wifi didn't work in the room.

Shared bathroom amenities were similar to ones you'd find at sport and recreational centres. They were satisfactory.

Service was fine and checking in and out was smooth.

The location in front of Bundanoon Station, with the shops and cafes on the other side, makes it a convenient place to stay at.

If you're dining on a budget, be aware that the pub is quite expensive, with most of the mains costing around $35.

Really good pub meals. Excellent service, the staff are first class young professionals. We love the old world decor with its Scottish feel. We've dined at the Bundy several times now and every time has been excellent.

A typical rural town hotel. A lot of historical charm, no aircon. Unfortunately the pool was out of commission on a warm day.
