Made the mistake today of ordering a beef schnitzel on $15 schnitzel day. It was absolute rubbish! The crumbs were falling off the "beef" when it was served, and what was left resembled more like carboard than meat, and I'm tipping cardboard would have been more palatable! The waitress said she would pass on my comments to the chef, and when she returned she explained that the new owners were experimenting with different products. No offer of a refund or replacement meal was forthcoming. Needless to say, our weekly visit to the Britannia hotel will no longer occur, good luck to the new owners.

service abysmal. Freezing inside and the staff refused to close the door man at next table asked why and staff just kept saying it was a fire escape. ( when did fire escapes have to be open ?). Instead of explaining the reason, pointing to a sign and apologising maybe offering knee rug or putting the ineffective heaters on the staff decided to argue the point. I want to eat at a place where you are welcomed by staff who value your custom and comfort.

Went for dinner this week and worst meal I have had in a while. Barramundi piece was so so small and the mash potatoe was dry and gluggy dried out ,chewy, should of returned it and got chips won't be coming back ...

Food was good but no gluten free options at all unless you count salad and meat as lazy gluten free. No GF pasta (would be so easy) No GF pizza (again so easy) No GF fish (so easy) pretty disappointing in that department.

Went for lunch today.the front bar staff lady with purple hair and glasses yelled at an elderly man having issues with keno in front of the whole pub. She kept saying dont abuse me when she was the one yelling at him for everyone to hear!!!. She made a scene not him. Absolutely disgusting behaviour treating an elderly person like that. Let alone a customer. Ruined our lunch and we left without finishing it.
