Hello 1975! It has a certain charm, the arty, the eccentrics, the flying sky high, all gather here. Music in the "grunge" bar, black everything, rough around the edges, shoulder to shoulder, plastic glasses. I went for TOFOG and was more entertained by the guy on guitar in the front bar "Tim", and the distinguished patron serenading a woman with an opera number. But definitely not by the guy who kept yelling out "Are you not entertained" and "By the glory of Rome". What was that?? If you want something to absorb the alcohol you're not getting it here. Staff were great, friendly, tolerant, and they just did it all easily. Very cool posters on the walls and the beer garden is Las Vegas Desert Hotel retro. Loved it!

Went to see ACDC cover band Bon but not forgotten 30th Dec 2023. The lead singer really brought it and the band played so perfectly ??"???"???"? Unreal awesome ???

Great Rock n Roll venue, genuine historical masterpiece. The posters tell an amazing musical history.
Saw the Angels with a couple of mates, simply brilliant.

Went there for a gig this weekend. The place is kinda run-down, the guy at the door was being a bit condescending and sarcastic (I wasn't drinking, maybe he thought everyone was pi$$ed), only one cubicle toilet for ladies... Meh. Great history and the bar staff were both very nice but I would not go there to hang out or for a drink - just for gigs, whenever something good is on. The band was great, by the way - this review is not at all a reflection on them.

Great food, great music, great service. Lovely spot to have a meal. We shared a delicious burger and a plate of wings. It was so good we visited twice.

One of Sydney's longest running and most popular live music venues. I've been coming here for nearly 4 decades. Intimate main room, but it can get packed. So if you're seeing a gig, get in early. Cool staff. Cold beer. Quiet lounge bar and neat little beer garden when you need a bit of fresh air. Highly recommended. A great music venue.

Great music, excellent venue. Staff are friendly,the music is loud and it's a great night out for usually under $40 a ticket. So glad they're still about.

With a lot of the great venues that I've been to in Sydney shutting down & becoming a thing of the past it's great to discover a place like this that has a great musical past. I've frequented venues a lot back in the states & this place reminded me of the many great small venues I've been to there. The atmosphere is just terrific, absolutely love the staff there from top to bottom from the bouncers, bartenders to the owner, they treated both me & my mate as if we've frequented there for ages & I tell ya if we both lived around the corner we would be regulars. This was my first time there but certainly won't be the last. Thank you guys/gals

The bridge hosts great techno parties every now and then, but one thing really urgently needs improvement: they only supply disposable cups for tap water. I don't even want to imagine how much rubbish one night of partying here contributes to our planet... specially considering that most guests use more than one cup per night. I would have hoped that the severe floods and bush fires of the last years would have shown people that we are in a severe climate crisis! We need actions now. And replacing disposable with reusable plastic cups is really an easy solve.

The Bridge hosts Sutra Sunrise, and what more can a man ask for. It's the most beautiful regular music event this side of the equator. The staff here are absolutely fantastic; the security are legendary. It's a colourful and vibrant oasis in the dead city that is Sydney. Long Live the Bridge!

An old music venue featuring 80 90s grunge and heavy bands. Just like the old days, apparently there's a club too.

Great place to see bands.... Best way to get there is public transport, unless you are a parking ninja and find a spot in the streets nearby. Main band room stage high enough to see the musicians play, separate bar area and outside area for sitting down and chatting... sadly Sydney is losing venues ...please keep this one going .... Great place to go see some live music. Seperate back bar and nice beer garden so you can get away from the music if it's not to your taste. Very friendly staff and I very much enjoy coming here

Amazing times ALWAYS at this Iconic Music Venue. With recent renovations the place looks Great. Staff are Always friendly and Awesome. Richard and Jen are Amazing people with tbeir ongoing support and contribution to the Australian Music scene, organising a variety of different bands and musicians to cater for everyone's tastes.

Its a grunge dump but which gives it a depraved charm. Some interesting and unique characters frequent this place. The good thing is they get excellent bands to perform and have done so for 20 years or more . Well worth a visit.
