Great club .... Really caters for the resident island retirees .... Quality $12-$15 members ($10 year membership) meals most days ... shuttle bus.. situated across from the "Pumicestone Passage" ...great staff... great surrounds ... pokies for the punters... can't go wrong !

Visited Bribie Island for a few days for golfing and sight seeing. Although this was a short stay, we visited this RSL twice a day, as it was just too good! From staff being so friendly and helpful, to every meal whether breakfast, lunch or dinner was absolutely delicious. From the courtesy bus drivers, front house reception to the staff in the bars, dining and social cafe, everyone has exceptional service. You can tell that they love working there and take pride in this great club. By far the best RSL I have ever been to. Well worth the frequent visits, great value for money. Great gluten free range, mum was super happy. Be sure to join as a member, even if short visit, worth the savings. There is always a fun theme or activity on each day/night so be sure to book a table online, especially during dinner time (from 5.30pm). Thank you to all the wonderful staff, five stars all round!!

Booked a table for 4 last night and were amazed by the wonderful happy staff. They couldn't do enough for us. All our meals were great and the prices are reasonable. This is not your average RSL the Club itself is top notch with beautiful furniture and decor! Drink prices and service were very good.
Highly recommend this venue!

Just did a mother's day dinner with family. At first the prices look a bit high, but after getting the meals, it fits in. Everyone was happy with there meal. Make sure your make room for dessert, the ice cream sundae is an eye watering.

We have lunch here fairly regularly, service is efficient and friendly ( special mention to Trinity ), half price Tuesdays and Thursdays for members. Club has been renovated again in recent times and lots more planned for the near future, it all looks very welcoming.
Definitely our favourite place on Bribie for a nice coffee and cake as well.
Always excellent choices and great value. Highly recommended for visitors and locals alike.
Update - , Half prices lunch is back to Mondays and Wednesdays again .

Stopped in for a coffee at the social and loved the ambience. Had an iced latte and apple crumble. Both super yummy. The table next to us had one of the breakfastes and it looked impressive. Will have to try that next time we're on the island.

Absolutely always good.
We have been to the Cafe for breakfast a couple of times then found out there was more to it restaurant pokies etc. So last night we went for dinner food and drinks was great staff friendly. We had a mistake on our meals its okay mistakes happen but it was fixed up very fast. And the highlight of the meal was the snickers dessert it was the best thing we have eaten in a while. We definitely be back when back in bribie. Might even take a few family members with us when we are down for our wedding soon.

This was Queenslands best cafe in 2022 and I can totally see why.

Menu serves up some unique offerings like the taco platter for 2 as well as traditional cafe and pub fare. Sri Lankan prawn curry was a highlight and all food and drinks came out fast.

Comfortable well designed outdoor courtyard which is dog friendly. Very popular cafe a must visit on a trip to Bribie Island.

Beautiful space & decor with a cool vibe, great location, good service, MASSIVE servings, very affordable prices. Definitely recommend ??'?🏼

I am from Melbourne we are up here for a wedding and will be staying for a week ...had our first dinner on the island and we were very satisfied...will go again this week

I came here for a function and the food was lovely but as a current serving member of the Australian Army I was suprised to find out that there is no discount for current serving defence force members. I understand that most places don't do discounts. Although I thought a place where veterans and service in the defence force is honoured would have a discount so serving members could get a 1 or 2 dollars off a meal or drinks.

Not really a complaint, more of feedback because I think you would have more customers if you did have one

We absolutely love going to the Bribie Island RSL to have their awesome seafood platter. The mussels with a very tasty chiriso sausage, tomato & chilli sauce are a big favourite along with all the fresh cold seafood. The spicy calamari are fantastic too. For $95 its great value

Bribie Island RSL is located at 99 Toorbul Street, Bongaree.

This is an excellent RSL club to visit & enjoy the wonderful facilities that this RSL offers.

There is easy access in & around the RSL as it is located on one level, making it easy for people with disabilities.

There are two street entrances to the RSL, with plenty onsite parking is available, there is an area set aside for larger vehicles such as buses to park onsite.

Bribie Island RSL has an excellent undercover "drop-off" point at the front entrance.
People with disabilities are well looked after with easy wheelchair access to the RSL.

Once you enter the premises, the Bottle Shop is located on the right-hand side.

There is a wonderful restaurant & bar area located opposite the main reception/main entrance.

An indoor/outdoor eatery & bar is located at the rear of the RSL, where you can relax. This part of the club is dog friendly, making it an ideal place as well for young children.

Bribie Island RSL has an excellent Gaming located just down from the main Reception area, adjacent to there is the sports bar/TAB, & bar, where you can sit down to enjoy your racing or live sporting events.

I found the meals served were well prepared & value for money. An excellent menu selection is available, which caters to everyone's needs, including people with dietary requirements.

Lovely to see a place that allows dogs even though don't have a dog. Drinking coffee & eating outside is always great with the wonderful greenery.

Maybe because I'm from Victoria where everything food-wise feels exie nowadays - but I was shocked at the quality and value of the meals here. Even factoring out the member-only prices and Monday specials, $30 for a meal and a dessert is unheard of down south. And, it came out in minutes, and the plate is generous. That cheesecake, see pic, is so darn pretty. Lovely service. Decor is spacious and comfortable.

The food here is the best! I absolutely love everything. Great customer service, nice environment, delicious food, good price, decent size meals.

Quite a Nice cafe to attend on Bribie Island at Bongaree, Buckleys hole area. With its cooling misting in action outdoors for the warmer months and heaters available on the cooler days. This pooch friendly outdoor cafe area is to the rear of Bribie Island RSL. You can park and enter via the roundabout side. Currently named the Social Cafe.
Hand made chews for pooches are on offer. An air conditioned large indoor seating area is available also. Some are raving about the human food, which is worth a rave, altho the cakes on offer are the usual thawed commercial cake slices you can get anywhere.
A cafe around Bribie needs more of a home baked cake slices as offerings. Dining area is sheltered but with No special views altho the Botanical theme is very pleasing, relaxing and a possible talking point. The rattan style furnishings is comfortable.
I have sat many times and enjoyed coffee and I have ordered takeaway many times as well. I doubt anyone would be disappointed unless understaffed and needing takeaway in a hurry.

The oldies that belong to this RSL club must keep this club. Very honest. The cafe I had breakfast in was very nice, clean and well presented. The food I had was delicious and great value for money. It's a shame some restaurants cannot produce the quality of food that I have at this club.

Do yourself a favour and eat at the RSL club rather than the bowling club? The bowling club is very disappointing.

Wont be back again for food came for lunch here got 2 chewy white looking steaks that have been nuked or defrosted in hot water to look like this even after cooking, the bowls club can actually cook a basic thing like steak. I haven't been here for over 5 years as I've been interstate and the steaks back then were amazing seriously disappointed

The RSL's social café is a great outdoor, relaxed and dog-friendly meeting and eating area. It's partly covered, and there are big umbrellas too, with plenty of seating options available.
Service is fast but friendly, and prices are competitive.
I thoroughly enjoyed my poached eggs and bacon, with a tasty flat white and my doggie relaxing quietly next to me. Well worth visiting.

This was quite simply one of the worst meals I have ever had at an RSL.
We booked into the Botanic Lounge for our Anniversary.
We weren't shown to our table, it was merely pointed out to us through a window.
The Mild Lamb Curry lacked heat in both temperature & flavour. It was bland, lukewarm & watery. 2 pieces of carrot & a cube of potato for the veg component. I asked if the meal came with a bowl of yoghurt & watched the waitress take it to the table next to ours. I never saw her or my yoghurt again!
My husband had the seafood linguine & was delighted when he found 2 prawns in amongst a bowl of tomato soup with a sprinkle of seafood & pasta.
To top it off... the range of beers on tap was a poor 5 in total, 2 of which we were told had never been poured.
Any beer you want can be brought to you from another bar within the complex. Just ask one of the bar staff.

Not at all happy.

Visited Social Cafe for the first time Saturday morning. We had our small, nervous dog with us and were able to choose a table out of the way. Our brekky came out quickly, and my coffee was just how I like it...small and strong! We had such a lovely experience, we returned on Sunday for morning tea. It was a bit busier but the service and welcome was still outstanding. Social is now our favourite Cafe on Bribie. Can't wait to share it with family.

Have always loved the service, food and great staff at Social and taken many visitors to the Island there for lunch, coffee etc. Today I ordered a beef sausage roll - it was presented looking wizened up, dry as a bone, brittle and tasteless! And it tasted as if it was at least a week old! Ate two mouthfuls and sent it back! Lift your game Social - the Island is small and the word gets around very quickly!

Great meal and fantastic service. Renae behind the bar went above and beyond in customer service with assisting us in drink choices. Would highly recommend the Bribie RSL for both locals and visitors to the Island ??'?

A well run RSL. Restaurant menu is never disappointing. Staff are friendly and helpful. And the courtesy bus is a fantastic idea so you don't drink and drive.

Beautiful venue and friendly staff which leaves a great first impression. The food is delicious and if high quality. Presentation perfect - compliments to the chef. My only critique is my most important - it seems the portions has shrunk of late. The starter we received was ridiculously small for the price paid - almost thought I was in France... Same with the mains. When I returned home, I had to make myself a sandwich. The thought came to mind that I eat because I'm hungry. I do not eat as a form of artistic expression.

We eat here at least once a week and they never miss. The staff are always so welcoming and the food is always on point. They also do the best iced chocolates I've ever had

Up from Sydney traveling through, we ended up going to the RSL for breakfast everyday (3 days) the food is amazing and such super duper staff! The best part is its completely child friendly! There is a children's area so our son was able to play games while we had some "normal conversations"

We can't wait to come back. Staff really made us feel at home.

Awful just awful waited an hour for our mains. If the restaurant was at capacity then could justify the wait time. Food was really ordinary and overpriced. The staff were really pleasant . cannot recommend we will go elsewhere next time

We were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. My wife ordered beef medalians. Every element of this dish was beautifully executed. Well done Jeremy in the kitchen! Celebrated my 65th birthday here. In the 30 years I've been going to the Bribie Island RSL, it has only gone from strength to strength. The food was exceptional, herb crumbed lamb cutlets, slow cooked potato curry, and beer battered fish and chips. Each if us thoroughly enjoyed our tasty meals. The ambience was as usual, relaxed, friendly and comfortable while also very smart.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Great food, amazing value, friendly and exceptional service within a modern, attractive venue.

Food at the RSL are pretty average. For a gravy lover, I'm disappointed. None of their sauces/gravies are nice. Service is reasonable and staff are friendly. If you are ever confused on what to get, the schnitzel is always the safe option. Booking in the restaurant can be tricky as they have timed settings (5pm and 7pm if I remember correctly), and they can make you feel rushed, so I wouldn't recommend this place If you are looking to have a long dinner/catch up with friends and family I'd you are a chatty bunch. If you do plan on going back then I would say the membership is worth it, they usually have good dinner specials on offer)

Ordered whiting mash and veg. Whiting was paper thin, thank goodness the batter was nice. Potato mash was not advertised as nutmeg potato mash. Very unpleasant flavour and dry. Vegetables were ok. Not a place I will be rushing back to.

Great atmosphere, very clean environment, friendly staff, good selection of restaurants and dishes in them.

Excellent club. We (4 adults, 2 kids) had lunch at the Social bar/cafe. The food options were great and we were all very happy with what we ate. Delicious!nThere is a kids play area which you can choose to sit near.nThe staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere and decor was fresh and fun.nWe are looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
