I was going out for dinner with my mum and we had pre called up and had made a reservation for 2. As soon as we had walked in this rude younger lady had whispered to her co worker at the front desk and before we could say our reservation name the younger lady had claimed my outfit was Inappropriate, for context I'm pregnant and was wearing a classy black tied off top with a long black skirt and boots, my top only had a 2 finger gap. My mother even asked if we could just swap cardigans and if I just done it up at the front my top would be cover but not even that satisfied the lady and she turned us away saying its "policy". Mind you there was people out on balcony in outfits that should also of been turned away if that where the case. I feel it was directly personally aimed at me. Yet I Was welcomed at a similar club just down the road who approved my outfit.

Lunch at Bribie Bowls Club was excellent. Had calamari and falafel bowl. Excellent food, views and service. Can't fault and would recommend.

The salmon was probably the best I've ever had. Very clean restaurant. Great friendly staff.

Amazing location! watch the sunset from this prime location. Too had the food was TERRIBLE. I usually give places a second chance bit something tells me that it wouldn't have been a one off bad experience. The vegetables were boiled and tasteless and the "creamy" mashed potatoes were dry and pasty. The lamb shank was good but had no sauce to speak of with it. Just go to this place for a drink.

Been eating at the bowls club for years I've never had anything wrong with my food I had to visit again when I was in QLD again. The food is top shelf stuff.

Walked past and decide to join club, only $5 social membership. Booked a table on verandah and it was the Friday night meat raffle draw. 44 trays $1 for a block of numbers. (Didn't win any!)
Dinner was delicious and the sunset view beautiful. I had grilled barra described with seasonal veg but only had broccolini, roasted potato gratin more like a little dry potato and sweet potato bake with hollandaise sauce, would of liked a little more of the sauce. Meal wasn't exactly the same as the description nonetheless it was delicious. Hubbie had the chicken parmie. What looked like an entire chicken breast topped with cooked ham and melted mozzarella, Napoli sauce and he had coleslaw and chips or you could have mash and veg. He couldn't finish the meal it was so big.
We also had the garlic bread topped with cheese and bacon 4 large pieces which was hot and delicious. Cost not being a member was $71 with member discount came to $61.
Meal was filling, delicious and we thought good value. Will be going back to try something else on the good choice menu and they also have a specials board.
If going on a Friday night make sure you book especially because it's raffle night.

20+ of us had a delicious lunch there. They have a Seniors Menu too. Wheelchair accessible (lift). Parking at the side, front and back. Cost $$.

Happy fluke that we ended up here. Valentines night had a lot of places booked out and the bistro here was no different. We settled in around the bar at a table with water views. Thoroughly enjoyed the service from staff. We had the schnitzel and the barramundi. Both meals were absolutely delicious.
In a town full of good places to stop and eat don't discount this one.. even if it's just for a beer to sit and enjoy the view

Had the Asian salad with beef strips. Very nice meal. Balance was good and plenty of food. Only $24 as a member I think it was very y good value. Staff super polite as always.

Great meal and lovely service, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Our steaks were beautifully cooked. The stunning sunset view of the passage speaks for itself. Definitely would recommend and looking forward to coming back.

Enjoyed a meal on the deck overlooking the passage. Stayed at the club for the trivia great host and fun. The night was spoiled though as the courtesy bus was full and no other bus that night disappointing as it was only just after 9pm.

I have eaten here many times, however the
Barramundi meal that I had last nighy was delicious. Very well presented, with compliments to the chef.
I will certainly be ordering this again..

Went to the Bowls club as we do however last Friday night our experience was nothing but terrible. Our two partners ordered Surf and Turf. Two small pieces of steak they ordered to be cooked medium turned up black and the middle rare. They had a garlic sauce as a topper that was cold. The four prawns had to be peeled. For the price they paid surely the topper should have been the prawns in the sauce. It didn't end there the mashed potato was like glue (obviously instant). A complaint was made that eventually went from the bistro to management but nothing done.

What a wonderful place to enjoy a meal.

A lovely place for lunch with mum. The service was friendly, efficient and helpful in choices from the menu. An enjoyable time watching the bowls competition. The eftpos machine in bistro however needs to be replaced, it took 2 configuring to process my transaction, quiet time consuming.

Our stop for lunch while heading home from the Sunshine Coast. Outdoor seating provides a good view of the beach. Lucky we to have the table as staffs said you need to reserve especially during the weekend. As we both were not too hungry, so we ordered two glasses of white wine snd shared a seafood plate. The seafood plate was very fresh and delicious, and the wine was good too. Staffs were very friendly too, so really enjoy the lunch.

I am new to the island and was told the Bowls Club was a nice place to visit. Upon arriving, I couldn't sign in outside, so went inside to sign in with my mask in hand and the woman at reception yelled "put your mask on!" I was a bit gobsmacked at her attitude. I said that I had every intention of putting it on once I checked in. She said you have to walk in wearing your mask. I apologised and said I didn't know as I was new here. I then went upstairs to wait for my friends and was just upset how I was spoken to. Told my friends not to come there. Ended up in tears. Gentleman behind counter was very nice, so was Duty Manager. My point is. She could have said to me, "excuse me, could you please put your mask on," not yell at me. I am sad and won't be going back. I know this may be a one off thing, and you may think I am petty, but when you have never been there before and she didn't know that, be nice to people, don't yell. I have worked in hospitality, managed a few places and never spoken to anyone like this.Always had great staff. ???"

What a great place. Only issue was access. Carpark 80m away from the front door. Good food.

Love coming to Bribie to have a meal at the Bowls Club. We decided to stay on Bribie this weekend and thought we would utilise the courtesy bus. What a disappointing experience. On pick up I tried to open the door not knowing it was automatic, I was chastised for this. When leaving the club the bus was at the door. I went to ask the driver about getting a ride only to have his automatic door slam in my face and he drove off. Went to report this to reception and they were not at all helpful. Hailed a cab to get home. Not going back!

Great food. Super fast service. One of our ordered meals was a well-done steak which came within 10 minutes from the time we ordered, which was the fastest cooking I have ever seen. And the quality was superb. This was on Sunday night, though, when there were just very few customers around. Overall we had a great experience, very satisfied and will always go there again.

Took Mum here for lunch and we sat on the veranda, overlooking the passage. What a lovely meal and friendly service we received. Recommend to book during busy weekends, we were there on a Friday and it was rather busy so can only imagine the weekends would be a bit hectic. Nothing that their great staff wouldn't be able to handle though :-)

Pleasant venue. Has been modernised and the food was reasonable. Lovely day and place to have lunch. It was a bus trip and staff were very easy to deal with.

Had dinner there last night,we had the seafood plate,Calamari plate and chicken parmy and we all enjoyed our meal,best Calamari I've ever had actually and I'm 58 so I've had a few!Very reasonably priced,$72 for 3 large meals and lovely staff.

Have dinner here on occassions, fare is well priced and never had anything to complain about, the place can be noisy on weekends, but definitely worth a visit.

Had a couple of meals there, food was good and overall the staff were friendly. As I am a bowler, enquire at front desk to have a roll up, was told to see a member at the greens, did this but they were unhelpful and rude so I went back to my accommodation. Nice club but members leave a bit to be desired.

Lunch.. Nice calamari although the salad was inedible drowned in dressing. (Suggest order dressing on the side.)
Suggestion to club for Lunch menu.... Offer some lighter meals, eg. salads/ soups/ omelettes as well as what you offered.
Also Dinner menu didn't offer a prawn meal that wasn't in batter.
The Salmon was excellent however!

Busy but comfortable atmosphere. Relaxing views from both smokers and non-smokers balconies. Accepts non-members with a scan of your drivers licence. Food was a little slow to arrive but well worth the wait. Great steak, chips & salad! Plenty of off street parking - even with camper trailer (park in streets behind).

Well run bowls club just over the bridge at Bribie (turn right). Laid back casual atmosphere-is modern and fresh but has a 70u2019s feel. Loads of drink specials and staff are friendly. Set up nicely for a punt also ud83dudc4d.

The food is delicious and worth every penny. The atmosphere is relaxing, watching the sunset over the water while having a nice meal with your favourite company. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks Bribie bowls. ud83dude00
