Honestly one of my favourite spots for atmosphere on King St. Diverse band selection, so there's always something to do for anyone. The rooms upstairs are great for having a cozy chat, regardless if it's a small group or a big party of people. Unisex bathrooms are gender diverse friendly, staff is warm and welcoming. Pool tables have plenty of room for uninterrupted play-- unlike SOME pubs in the area. Good vibes and good times.

Sat upstairs with friends playing a table top game on a Sunday afternoon and it was great.

This venue has everything you need to have a good time! Whether you feel like playing some trivia, watching a live band, doing some karaoke, or just wanting to play some pool whilst sipping some delicious cocktails or beers, botany view hotel is definitely the place to go.

We ordered the ,Korean Cauliflower Bites, Guacamole dip with beans and corn chips, Botany Burger, Steak & chips and
some cocktails. Everything was greatparma and the cheeseburger as they also looked delicious!

The venue also has multiple rooms with really nice vintage decor that you could book for groups so you could have your own private area. Our personal favourite was the beautiful rooftop area where all the cute doggies were.

The staff are also super friendly and chilled. Shout out to Francesca who was so welcoming and attentive.

Highly recommend this venue for an awesome day/night out with friends!

Came here the other night and was pleasantly surprised with the food! This place is multi level so there is heaps of space to roam around. We came on a Monday which is their karoke night and honestly it was really fun! For food we got the guac and chips, korean fried cauliflower, cheeseburger and the steak sandwich.
If this is your local this place is certaintly worth checking out!

This is a dog friendly venue with live entertainment every night. I liked the multiple rooms/areas suitable for groups, each room had such character and you can book a room in advance. We sat in the outdoor rooftop area and enjoyed some of their best cocktails (all vegan) and small and large plates.

I tried:
??Chicken Liver Pate - House made Chicken Liver Pate with whiskey & capers, served with sourdough and cornichons.

??Korean Fried Cauliflower - With gochujang sauce, sesame seeds and shallots.

??One of each kind of Taco (3) - Spicy bulgogi beef, fish cocktail, halloumi.

??Pan Fried Barramundi - With cauliflower puree and seasonal greens with lemon.

??Beetroot & Goats Cheese Salad- With pickled beetroot, rocket, fennel, raddichio, almonds, goats chees and white balsamic dressing

Giant multi level venue with much to offer. Has pool tables, karaoke, pinball machines, fancy cocktails and a pristine rooftop area to chill at.
Happy hour is an absolute steal going from 7-9 most days (5 dollar house spirits). Feel like we haven't seen those prices at those times for almost a decade. Also a large selection of craft tap beers which I will run through next time

We went for Tuesday night trivia hosted by trivia mafia. The host was wonderful and gave out generous prizes. Also, there were chances to win free jugs of beers between rounds.

The venue is pet friendly too, lots of cute dogs sitting around chill and all.

Management have done a great job revamping this place and I can only imagine that it'll only get better.

This place is a gem that's almost hidden in plain sight. From the outside it looks like other pubs, but head in and explore and you'll be surprised.

Then there's the food and drinks. Wow. Yes they have the pub classic meals but there's so much more. The menu has some absolutely delicious alternatives.

You've got to try the Korean Fried Cauliflower - florets fried in a spicy sweet Korean gochujang sauce. It's a killer dish.

Don't miss the soft taco's either. There's beer crispy beer battered fish, deliciously tender bulgogi beef or fried halloumi. Better still, get one of each like we did.

We had the pate with cornichons and toasted bread. It was big, bold and tasty. The surprise was that it was vegetarian pate! You couldn't tell.

We also had a radicchio, beetroot and feta salad that was a great combination of colours and flavours.

They do beers and wine - of course - it is a pub after all. However they've got a great cocktail list too. We had quite a few and they were all great. We had the mildly smoky SAS, the colourful Stagger Lee and the hugely refreshing Le Gurk.

The place itself is big, with so many different spaces. The front bar has live bands most nights. There's a ground floor pool room too as well as some retro pinball machines! Upstairs there's another main bar and rooftop area. There are also heaps of really quirky private alcoves and rooms.

We were really impressed with the staff too. They were so friendly and helpful. It's a great crew in a great place. We're going to head back soon for more of the menu and more great drinks!

This is the best pub ever! Got everything you need, live bands, DJ's, pool table, outdoor area, lots of different areas to hang out, great food and drinks! The staff are great you can really enjoy a whole night out at botany view!

Historic pub with sensative medern restoration. Live music some nights. Open air beer garden on the roof attracts party goers. Good pub food menu and friendly staff. Crowd is a mixture of all ages who are out for a fun outing.

Great place to come with dogs. Every where is dog friendly. Sunday roast was excellent. Roast beef and vegies. Yorkies were superb. Good beer selection

This is a great pub. The staff are really helpful and friendly and the food is pretty good. They also do great cocktails and have a happy hour.
There is a lovely beer garden up the top and the bar is dog friendly!

Unique place to visit...
We had seen live music performance, played piano, 8 ball pool, and had a great night.
The staff was very respectful and considerate

I come here for Monday night karaoke as much as I possibly can - the bar staff and hosts are so nice and welcoming, and the locals are too. The setup is fantastic, great food as well

Upstairs bar is great with live music, trivia and karaoke on different nights. Outside smoking area too.

Upstairs outside is one of my favourite little chill spots in the inner west. My go to for a quiet beer in the sun:) Mix that with a super old school pub vibe downstairs and you've got the best pub on King!
