The Chef and restaurant at this venue has far exceeded my family's expectations today when we called in for feed for our ceoliac 4 year old. Delicious gluten free options with exceptional service. Thank you!!

Debbie & I went to The Blue Goose Hotel for lunch again today, as we've found it to be the best Pub food around. We had Bruchetta as a starter & then Bangers & Mash with Peas & Gravy.
Declan, the chef is a LEGEND & his meals are delicious. It's a good size menu & the meals portions are extra big.
The staff are super friendly & always make us feel at home. Billy....

We've travelled 3000kms this trip with many pit stops and the Blue Goose is definitely a favourite thanks to the super friendly service and patrons. Barmam with the long red hair and mo was a total highlight and made our day with his friendly service. Great place to pop in for a cold drink on a hot day. Cheers!

I didn't stay in any rooms and not sure if any available. Went for lunch on Saturday.
The first and most important thing of note, was the dining area was separate (and not in earshot) of the horse whipping area. Nothing deflates an appetite than hearing people yelling at a screen on how hard a horse is whipped. The majority of people don't approve of horses being whipped, take note other pubs, I'm looking at you Village Green.
That aside. Staff were so polite to us and very friendly, from the greeting, ordering, to when we left. Many thank yous and pleases were exchanged. I even heard the same when staff spoke to kitchen staff.
The food. We were not after anything fancy so just ordered the classic burger and grilled chicken burger. Both were fantastic, fresh and plentiful. I was not able to finish the extra wide chips, which were halfway to wedges. They were super crispy and not overly salted (salt and pepper is on your table if required).
If you want great food, friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to go.
Note to management. You must be very nice as they say, sh!t rolls downhill and the staff were wonderful.

Great meals in a very comfortable atmosphere. Have been going now for about 6 months and been 100% happy every time. Staff as good as any hotel I've ever been in, and I have been in a few.

Pleasant enough small country pub, a place the locals love. Our meals were average only. Good place for kids as well. Couldn't fault the friendly service.

Well, what a hidden gem this pub is. Light and airy inside, with lovely country views. Popped in for lunch yesterday and had a great meal. Loved my warm chicken salad and my partner claims his chicken schnitzel was by far the best he's had in Grafton, and he's had a few! He also said the selection on tap was excellent. However the best part were staff, genuinely friendly and helpful. We had a great time, and will be back!

Under new management, all newly renovated, bathrooms crisp and clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. Reasonably priced meals, good sized servings that look and taste delicious. I really enjoyed the salad, and the chips were the best I have had in a decade, just perfect. I would go back just for the chips and to support local small business.
