The tavern don't pay their booked musicians. We booked multiple gigs there a few years back now (we allowed them plenty of time to pay due to the lockdowns etc) but they've ignored our attempts ever since. Bad form for a local venue to disrespect their local music community in this way.

Mediocre service. Slow and confusing service. Running out of one of the most popular menu item - schnitzel. Plastic plants. No atmosphere. Not ready for 3 stars yet.

Enjoyed a "lunch special" (available midweek) of fish and chips, with salad for $15. Typical good pub grub with generous serving. Could have had chicken schnitzel instead of fish, or spag bol for the same price.

Terrific food from the bistro 5 days a week (lunch & dinner). Friendly staff and a good little pub. It just needs more advertising to get people to come back to the tav!

Place is horrendous. In desperate need of a make over (or a good clean), new menu and some manners.

Very ordinary experience. Wine was poured from a stale bottle, no replacement offered. Meal was ok and served quickly - mind you, I was the only diner. No ambience .. just a central bar surrounded by sports screens.

Staff were friendly, however, food wasnt very good at all. We ordered the Salad with Calamari which came out with 4 frozen deep fried calamari rings and the additional cost was $5. The chips with the snitzels were under cooked. Overall experience average. New cook 2nd day so hopefully with feedback he will improve.

Rude arrogant new manager, poor service, my advise would be avoid this place at all costs and try the lapstone hotel or somewhere else instead. I am a local and after continued shabby treatment will never go there again.

Pub close to Blaxland station. I'll come here once a month for an after work slap. Machines are dated but relative to the size of the venue friendly staff. Would benefit from a complimentary soft drink for gaming patrons.

Not so crowded when we were there so it was quite a nice ambience. Not my choice of music but it may appeal to certain audience. We ordered coconut prawn, beef burger and grilled chicken. Recommended coconut prawn for entrée; came in a small portion though. Chips were good but not the beef burger as it tasted a bit off (not nice pattie). Grilled chicken was good with sweet potatoes fries and homemade coleslaw.

Very tasty food.Great service from Kym and Chloe!I came with a big group of 12 people and we had a lovely time. The meals were excellent; very fresh and tasty. They did take a while to come to us, but it was worth the wait.Would come again!
