Called in and had lunch today...what an incredible place, staff were so friendly and helpful, the meal was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere and location was 100%. We will be back!

We've stayed at a lot of hotels in NSW and this is the best one by far. Staff are friendly and helpful, the menu is great, the rooms and amenities are spotless. The whole hotel and surroundings are perfectly maintained. Highly recommended for a Great overnight stay. Thank you Bendemeer hotel

Leanne and her team treat you like family. Wonderful country hospitality. Sherelle's special vegetarian hot breakfast creation was delicious. Highly recommend a stay.

Friendly and hospitable service. Great food. Clean and comfortable room however no sound proofing from neighbouring room.

Great range of pub style food. Well cooked & generous servings. Friendly service & lovely country style decor overlooking the gorgeous McDonald river.

Had dinner in the bistro - the most loaded supreme pizza I have ever had, and the base was good and light. Publican and staff are very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

We stayed overnight and enjoyed a great evening's hospitality. It was a busy Thursday (kids night!), and the attention and service was great. Accommodation is simple but stylish and very comfortable- electric blankets and heating on these cold winter nights, very welcome. Highly recommend!

A glorious and genuine "country pub" just out of Tamworth. Friendly and relaxed setting and atmosphere. Well worth the trip for a delicious hearty lunch or dinner. Accommodation is also offered.

Stopped for driving break and quick snack. Friendly and courteous service. Lounge area being renovated. Great choice of where to relax, inside or out. Plenty of room to stretch your legs or let the kids run.

Absolutely great , staff are the best I've seen for a long time , they really like their jobs , happy friendly, service spot on , food fabulous, ambience, you couldn't top it , the outside area is beautiful by the river , with seating everywhere, and the trees for shade , just perfect

Stayed here overnight with a motorcycle group. Very motorcycle friendly hotel, fantastic staff, great meals and comfy rooms. Even has a lock up for our bikes! Can't wait to return.

The publican, Leanne, made us feel very welcome. Room with ensuite was great. Clean and comfortable. The pub is lovely with nice dining areas and such nice outside garden area overlooking the river. Our dinner and brekky were good and the staff were all smiling, friendly and helpful. Plus lockable, undercover parking provided by our motorbikes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Recommend the pub and we will be back.

Brilliant pub. As owner of The Top Pub Deepwater which is a much smaller version of Bendemeer its great to see our big brother pub doing so many similar things which customers enjoy. My meal was amazing! Gotta love a 350 gm Scotch. When travellers are talking to me raving about Bendemeer you cannot get a better live review. 10/10 ??'??

I really don't want to write this!!! This pub has incredibly high quality food, an excellent selection of meal options and at a very good price. To prove my point we regularly drive 2.5 hrs just to have a meal there. The publican is friendly, the beer cold. All in a very small town off the highway. It pains me to write this for the sole reason that as more people become aware of the spot it will be harder to get a reservation. Remember you heard it from me first.

This place deserves a Galaxy full of stars. I spent two nights here, and it has been the best pub stay yet!
The staff here go above and beyond to make you welcome. They are so helpful. My room was extremely spacious and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable.

Dining at the Bendy is absolutely fantastic, and is definitely up there with any top end establishment. Their food is cooked to perfection, and tastes so nice.

If you're travelling on a bike, your trusty steed is in safe hands, and is locked up in the stable each night. If you need information in regards to the surrounding areas the staff are a wealth of knowledge as well. One place of interest is the Moonbi Lookout located about 13km south of the Hotel.

Overall the Bendemeer Hotel is a fantastic place to stay at and I will definitely be back again. Only this time it will be for a longer stay so I can take in the surrounding areas. Thanks for the great hospitality, and keep up the great work folks ??????.

Our first visit to Bendemeer Hotel. Won't be the last.
We were in town for a car club event which had several hundred people in town for the weekend.
Town was much busier than normal, the pub was no exception.
Service was fast, food was very good,
We had a mix of meals, cutlets, steak, a schnitzel and a burger.
All meals very generous in proportion and the food was great. Hot and fresh.

A large, comfortable and very welcoming pub, even though very busy, staff were friendly and happy to have a chat.

Great spot. 2 minutes off the highway and well worth the visit.

I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of my lunch but then again I doubt I'd have fitted it into a photo. It was huge but I was hungry after 6 hours on a bike. Great setting over the river at the back. Really appreciated this pub.

Cold beer, friendly service and wonderful food. Stayed the night and found the room comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Highly recommended if on a road trip through the area.

A great hotel for a meal, friendly owner and staff. Food was delicious, scrummy lamb shanks and tasty rissoles with beautiful veggies, tasted like they were fresh from the garden. Highly recommended. Will definitely return.

Entertaining friendly /helpful owner and staff, the old building and layout are excellent, menu and meals exceptionally good, ensuite bedroom spacious and clean, plenty of towels, soap etc. Small fridge, kettle, coffee/tea etc. Rained the hole time we were there so we couldn't appreciate the outside areas along the creek. Next door is the bowls club, no major traffic noise in our room. Only suggestion would be for air-conditioning in rooms, ceiling fans not fully suitable in summer. Rates reasonable. Definitely will stay there again when in that region.

The location here is fantastic. The service is friendly and the food is great. They also offer accomodation, which is clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stop-over at this pub!

This pub is a gem, great food (make sure you're hungry), excellent menu, outstanding customer service, really friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff all wrapped in a very safe COVID environment.

Oh and the massive grounds with equally massive wooden picnic tables for outdoor eating & relaxing.

Highly recommended, I reliably hear the rooms are equally excellent.

The New Publicans, Leeanne and her husband have done a wonderful job providing a warm, special experience while dining, socialising and having a beverage. The staff were efficient, friendly and eager to please.

Beautiful setting, great meal always call in when we are in the area. I would like to see some local wines in the wine list but you cant have everything. ?

Wow what a gem, if you have not visited the Bendemeer Hotel be sure to put it on the list. The venue it's self is one to be admired, the classic country pub set on the river bank with stunning grounds and views. But if that's not enough the food is top notch and some thing to suit everyone, checkout the menu attached. Yum. The staff are more than helpful and ensure your visit to the Bendemeer Hotel is a memorable one. I stayed 2 night in the accommodation and the rooms are great. They are very comfortable and clean, everything from the smell of the sheets to the clean showers and toilets. Everything is on point. I rate this one a must visit, it will not disappoint.

Great atmosphere, good food, lovely owners. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here as we travelled home to Brisbane. So nice to meet the new owners.
