It was a great place, huge building big open space, pool, mini arcade and play area for the kids, nice staff and great food, a little pricey though! but also I went there last week for lunch and it was closed with fences up and signs saying closed due to fire damage and the connected bottle shop around the side was the same so not sure how long or if they will open again but I sure hope so!

The Bellevue is definitely worth a stop. One of only two hotels in Australia with an outdoor swimming pool in the centre of the building. Very friendly, warm staff. Stopped for a feed....special! It wouldn't matter what meal is ordered, the chef's skills and attention to high quality of food coming from the kitchen couldn't disappoint. Veg Laksa was mouth-watering. A modest size and reasonable price make for excellent value for $. We were a party of 4 and we all loved our meals.

Freindly staff with good service. Cheapish drinks before & after happy hour. "Cheap as drinks through happy hour". Plenty of cookies. Awesome Bistro. Great food. Reasonable prices. Reasonably good decor and atmosphere. All in all a great little local pub. Come and give it a go.

Working man's pub with a surprise of an outdoor pool in the middle courtyard, overlooked by the Bistro. We ordered a surf and turf it's a T-bone steak, prawns and bugs... wow! What a surprise! No wonder nearly everyone else ordered it too! Rated!!!

Very good food, I had the grilled barramundi, definitely worth a go. They have 2 minute noodles for sale behind the bar, they prep them for you. Two of my mates definitely loved that idea. Friendly service and courtesy bus. Big screen for the footy.

Went there for dinner, I ordered bangers & mash, loved it. My wife ordered chicken, ginger and shallots and due to food allergies requested, no onion & capsicum just broccolini. 1st one came out covered in onion, second one, came out with capsicum, by then we were all finished.
I would recommend this place for a kids party, as very noisy atmosphere, especially with all the chairs going in & out. Just wish I took my ear plugs.

My wife and I only visited for a couple of drinks as it is within walking distance of our accommodation. The hotel is very large with several bars surrounding a large swimming pool. The area where we sat was in a quiet location with a big screen TV which was showing the NRL games that we watched. Another bar had a pool table and lots of casual seating. There was another area containing a big bar and a TAB. Finally, there is a separate gaming room for the pokiest players. The ambience was good and the staff was friendly and efficient.

Awesome pub, great food and atmosphere. The blonde waitress in the bistro was super helpful and our kids loved her. So good when you get great service and food

The chicken schnitzel with the garlic prawns was just lovely. Staff are amazing and so very polite. The entire place is very clean, well done!

The chips and schnitzel were good about 1 hour before we were served with them.

got dinner here whilst on holidays with some friends ordered cheesy garlic bread to go with our meal, was supposed to be a starter didn't get buzzed in to get it. when we finally were buzzed in to get our food they said they had buzzed us in earlier to collect the bread however our buzzer had not gone off til mains were ready. ordered the mud cake, when we received it is was very dry. worker were smoking outside in the outdoor bistro area whilst working. overall very unsatisfied with my visit

Omg! I had the best food tonight. I ordered the lobster in garlic butter and it was so good. The staff were all amazing and they were so busy, but polite and friendly. There was a band playing and the atmosphere was so much fun. Best. Night. Ever. ???

I used to think this was the best pub on the coast. Over the past year I have witnessed the arrogance of the bar staff towards their customers. They are rude and very disrespectful to the people that help pay their wages. The bald guy that thinks he is good is probably the worst person I have ever come across in my life. Although they have a lot of new staff they have all adopted the same arrogance as him. It seems the rotten apple is spoiling the rest of them. And after almost being run over by baldy pushing a trolley through the main bar tonight, I thought I would update my review. What a pig of a man... not even an excuse me or sorry just a look of discontent.
Bistro is still great but that's about it. The Bowling club has cheaper drinks and far more inviting staff and is only a few steps more to get to. I would rather go where I am appreciated as a customer.

Dinner was delicious, served quickly and hot. Dining room could be fancied up a bit, but that's just me being picky .

Have had previous meals here since the new young people have been cooking and once again well presented excellent meals at a great price with excellent service by staff throughout the hotel. Beautiful

Great position, near the bridge to Forster..easy walk to the beach, surfshop, and cafes..
Nice bistro, with good meals, with quick service..
Awesome main bar, with plenty of screens for TAB lovers..
Also a quieter area for families..
Rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable,austar and TV , but no WiFi, in rooms...
Will definitely stay again...

Friendly atmosphere, staff are always amazing. Beer is crisp and the food is always well above average and consistently good.

Bistro food was lovely. Good tasty meals, service good,staff nice.Presentation was well done. Well worth looking at. Would recommend a visit. Did not stay at the hotel so cannot give feed back on accommodation.

Had dinner at the hotel and had the best lamb cutlets ever. Great value a $20 for 2 cutlets. The mushroom sauce was chocked full of mushrooms and absolutely amazing veges were fresh and full of flavour.You can tell the staff love their jobs as they were all smiles and singing along to the music. Make sure you save room for the caramel swirl cheesecake. It's amazing

Waited 2 hours for the meal, didn't say that they had ran of stock for meals, the young lady was very rude, I have sent an email to there admin no reply back. Great customer service seriously not.

Friendly and efficient staff, great service and amazing atmosphere. Food was absolutely fantastic.
AND THERES A POOL!!!

Staff not wearing masks and I was Discriminated against and refused service as I was not wearing a mask despite having a medical exemption and showing this to the licensee Simon Black.

I also have evidence that several staff members in the kitchen and bistro areas were not wearing masks whilst serving customers which is in breech of NSW Public Health orders. Seems like staff can break the law by not wearing masks, then medically discriminate against their patrons.

I also added this review on Facebook which they have removed! Obviously they don't want people knowing they openly break the law

Food was great ordered the chicken schnitzel, fresh crumbed chicken breast. Nice relaxing atmosphere and food was very decently priced. Pub staff also very friendly. Will visit again.

Loved the food here. There were 6 of us. 3 had pasta, 1 had chicken schnitzel, 1 had veal schnitzel and the last 1 had a rump steak with pepper sauce. All of us raved about our meals. Lots of food and all at very reasonable prices for each meal. Love the fact the pub has a pool as well. This would be a hit in the warmer months and it looks very inviting. We would happily return here anytime.

Great place to go and eat. Staff were welcoming and the food was good and didn't have to wait. Loses a star because finding the entry to the bistro was hard and had to walk my 8yo daughter through the packed bar area full of lively and colourful language. Lots of construction work going on at the moment, but it was still easy to get around inside once you knew where everything was.

Located on main Street of Tuncurry. Currently undergoing rwnivations but still easy access. Friendly staff & great bistro - some of the best pub grub around. Highly recommend.

Excellent food at the bistro! Restaurant quality at pub prices. Would definitely go there again.
