Close to Bondi Beach, however, not on the main drag. We ordered our food, and it came out promptly. The person I was dining rated their parma as 1 of the best they had. Unfortunately, my steak sandwich, although great tasting, 1 half of the steak sandwich, you couldn't chew the steak.

We were in the bar on the ground floor, it's a great bar , nice menu , the food was delicious and was were well prepared. Everything great and cheap.. BUT that day unfortunately they were watching a footie match veeery loudly and that's sucks. The bar woman was extremely serious, almost rude, her face - >???'

Food sent back to be redone, it wasn't hot. Chicken parmigiana hard to cut as knives quite blunt. Beer great.

Hi there, just to clarify that the girl who served the food at table 26. She's sooooo uncomfortable. The way she talk to us thatnot very nice also her personal so uncomfortable! If she doesn't like her job just quit!!!!! We're pay for foods and drink and not free! Please be nice and respectful! Appreciate!

Being ANZAC day, it was a really busy day for hospitality, yet we had awesome service from Heidi at Beach Road Hotel (served us downstairs). Heidi was so lovely and super helpful even though it was pumping. 5 star service, thanks Heidi.

Classic Aussie pub grub in a nice area, but sadly nothing to write home about. We visited twice in a week as staying in the area at an AirBnb. The first time I was charged $6 for a plain soda water (post mix) and very underwhelming $20 loaded fries. The second time my taco order came out wrong and I there was no one manning the bar, so I had to go to the kitchen/pass to get it sorted. Dog friendly courtyard/dining area was a nice touch.

The cute guy working at the bottle shop was really kind and helpful. Made my experience worthwhile. Will definitely be back!

Came on a Friday and Saturday. Very different vibe from one day to the next. Music was totally different too and so was the crowd. Very young public.
However it's a great space and I would definitely recommend for bigger groups

Friendly staff and nice venue but food service timeliness needs to be looked into. Ordered a pizza and waited almost 45 mins before cancelling because I had to leave to make it to an appointment. Recieved a full refund but left hungry to eat elsewhere.

Unfortunately I do not have any positive remarks about this place. We knew about the noise issue but did not expect people sneaking drunk into the upper(hotel area) floor, the smell of wet club floor all the way up to the dorms. Both days, on saturday and sunday, despite the music stopping at 1am, the noise of drunkheads went well past 2am. Followed by being woken up by the sound of professional grade vacuum cleaners before 8am.
The room itself wasn't too bad although tiny, wouldn't it be for the broken bed and a old piece of would stuck on top of the bathroom window to avoid opening it. No key to open the bedroom's window either.
However, the real reason why i wouldn recommend anyone to come stay here is the unfriendly staff. We were asked twice to line up (both times 15'+) to even get into the hotel as you have to cross the bar and club area to get to the rooms... security didn't let us through despite us showing the booking.

Summer is here and the Beach Road brings them summer vibes, with a touch of class. Welcoming and vibrant hotel, which can cater for a whole range of HUMANS. The outdoor area is the place to be right now, amazing staff and good vibes, will be nestling into this hotel for months to come, THANK YOU

Been here twice the whole place is really nice and beach modern vibes however the food was what would make this place not as good as it could be. The steak was beautiful however the schnitzel was disappointing. The salad sides were also odd.

Just moved here from England. Happy to meet an Irish lad behind the bar. Great guy and very polite but sadly didn't catch his name. Will defo be coming again.

A really great venue but avoid if you're looking for a relaxed place to spend your time. Part way through my time there, they blockaded the indoor and outdoor area (without any forewarning) while I was in a different area getting drinks for my friends. Was told to ditch my drinks and leave the venue and line up again outside. Not an enjoyable experience.

This place is so mid! The bouncer was rude because I was a foreigner. The floor was super sticky. Who thought it would be a good idea to put carpets in a club? The DJ was also ancient and was not playing good music.

Absolutely unacceptable
I went there tonight from bondi RSL to celebrate a mates birthday and got denied entry for absolutely no reason. They said I had "too much to drink" but had only had 2 schooners before arriving. Everyone else was allowed to enter except me. Despite trying to ask security as to why I wasn't allowed entry, I was still turned away. Ruined a very significant for my friend group and will never return again. Absolutely disgraceful.

Great location, but I could help but wonder, am I allowed to enter this venue without a mullet?

It's fine for a beer and a dance but the new menu looks and tastes no good. Cheeseburger with house bbq sauce and soggy wilted salad at the bottom of the burger...no idea. Anyway yea get a beer and some chips maybe.

Honestly I'm a bit surprised to see the bad reviews on here. Beach Road Hotel has been a favourite of ours for years! Great atmosphere, skillful staff and the security are extremely friendly every time. I think they are definitely strict with their RSA (refusing people in) which I think is totally understandable to keep everyone else safe. If you're thinking of coming here but are thrown off by some of these reviews, please go and see it your self. Love this place!

One of my favourite places to catch up with friends. The outside through the back is large and dog friendly. Queues for the bar not too bad on busy days

We came to Sydney in a group to celebrate a 21ST birthday. Bondi was our 2nd stop early in the evening. A couple of people in our group had Autism. Me and my friend were there as carers looking after everyone. This hotel was recommended as we were a larger group without a booking and other establiments didn't have room. Half of our group was let in but they refused entry to one of our people with Autism saying he had too much to drink. I said no he has a disability (desecretly) and this is the way he normally is. He had 2 drinks. I asked to see the manager but apparently he was the manager. (Ben Pearce). The situation was awkward and very discrimative. He then told me to remove his 21ST Birthday badge and try across the road. Not good enough Ben. You and your staff need more training in these situations with how some disabilities present. You did not listen or take I to consideration the information I provided you. This put a big damper on what should have been a great night and really upset someone trying to enjoy their birthday. After reading other reviews I doubt you would care as its just about risk management to you. We were a tame group having a few laughs. I would discourage anyone with a disability going to this establishment and if you look slightly happy or louder than normal you probably won't get in either. Very disapointed!

Friend tried to bin a can left on the ground and they wouldn't let them in as they said they had drinks with them even though it was litter. Totally ridiculous. We all left.

Great venue to watch sport. Most of the staff were great.

Beautiful location which is only a short walk from Bondi Beach, really large space filled with pool tables and ample seating for dining, great food options and damn fine drinks! upstairs is really fun on a Wednesday night and the weekend, great DJs, good music selection and delicious food on offer by Antico Pizza. Highly recommended

Came from Canberra had a nice quiet dinner at mamasan early 7pm, had two drinks and went across to the hotel as it looked like a great place to have another beer or two. Security at the front door was extremely aggressive and denied us entry without reason. Abuse of power and ruined our interstate trip.

Good selection of beers on tap. Came here for the schnitzel special. Texture of the batter on both the schnitzel and barramundi was light and crispy. Will be back to try the other weeknight specials.

Will visit again. Back packed staff but manager good. Light, bright and friendly. Covid security staff and staff checked I signed in. Clean and tidy. Good TAB. Lots of sports screens but volume low so can talk to people.
