Very nice stay food was amazing room was really nice only suggestion company please invest in a few porta cots so when families stay they have somewhere for their baby or toddler to sleep 😊

We visited the Bamera Hotel twice on holidays. We nearly didn't as the street appeal just doesn't do it any justice.

The inside is a bit dated but the food, specials and staff make this place. Even some of the meals that we saw come out didn't look that special, but when the dsame ones come out for us and we tried them, the flavour and quality was there, and some!

Fantastic atmosphere, great meals, terrific staff, had a lunch today, another great meal, we make sure when we are in the area, we go there 😋

It very disappointing when you get a free kids drink one time a then the next time you go here they say no as it doesn't come with the meal. They should always give you. The kids drink for free a just put the meal to $15 instead of $13. They will bring in more customers. And train all staff on the procedure as some don't have clue . The kids nuggets tasted yuck. You can buy nuggets from the shop an cook them at home an they taste 100%better

Pleasant staff and very quiet. Room needs modernising as carpet was old and unclean. Bed was comfortable and clean though. Bistro not open for breakfast.

We had fantastic meals and service here during Easter and were so impressed with the caring attitude to the children in our group. Every effort was made to ensure their meals were just as they wanted them (no sauce on the pasta!!) and they thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
It was a busy night but the food was delivered quickly and efficiently.

Not pet friendly even though they had absolutely nobody else there they wouldn't let us bring our kelpie out in the beer garden..

Went with family for dinner on our annual Barmera trip and certainly wasn't disappointed!

Super friendly staff who, despite the noise of other rowdy tables, kept calm and professional. Meals were fast and presented nicely. I had the pleasure of trying the Angus Beef Burger and it was beautiful.

Absolutely one of the tastiest burgers I've had for a long time, generous on all ingredients and perfect like it was from an advertisement 😍

The accommodation is satisfactory for the budget price tag. Clean and tidy but could do with some updating.Great location. Great food in the bistro. Very friendly staff. The pool was in operation after being down for maintenance

The hotel staff are very friendly.
The room was clean, spacious but very dated, for the pricing of the room.
The food was worth the money, but way to much garlic on the chicken Kiev.

Beds were so comfy, exceptionally clean rooms and facilities were great. Only one minor complaint is that there's no breakfast facility. Maybe consider throwing in a continental breakfast that patrons can have in their rooms as toaster and jug supplied already. Overall a great weekend with top weather

A nice country hotel with some historic features in the entrance hall to entertain. With such a large dining room, it lacked a little ambience with carpet that confused the eyes. The staff were friendly and efficient. A basic menu catering to most tastes along with pricing for Seniors was good. Nice white wine and Johnny Walker Black finished off our tasty meal. 😀

It was an absolute pleasure to stay here, bed was comfortable, shower nice and hot, morning view of the palm trees and Lake Bonney was beautiful. Peaceful stay.

I liked the food there...generous portions, quick service and healthy gluten free options. We were just passing through however still a dine in experience to remember.

We stayed in the motel for 2 nights , the bed was clean and comfortable but the cleaning standard overall was not good ! Surfaces needed cleaning properly .We had our bed made on the first day but no other cleaning was done ??'?🏻 The stairwell we had to use was covered in bird droppings so I did not want to use the hand rail which was not ideal .
Money really needs to be spent to bring the room out of the 70's very old and tired room , we did eat in the hotel diningroom on the first night which was lovely ,the food and staff were very good .Unfortunately we won't come back and stay again it wasn't a restful stay we had a lot of loud people staying there so it was far from peaceful 😠

Excellent. Attentive staff, a comprehensive menu, excellent service and a carpeted sound absorbent floor which meant an early dinner wasn't disturbed by younger party goers. I will visit again.

Meals were fine, just okay...service for sweets was terrible... we waited over an hour for our desserts, it took 3 requests with no apology or explanation given and our main course dishes were still on the table, didn't get cleared...

Great service and friendly staff. You can't beat country people for making you feel welcome. We have had a takeaway meal and dined in at a separate times during our stay at Cobby. Both meals were excellent but the dine in meal was both tasty and, sad to say, so large we both couldn't finish our mains. Compliments to the kitchen staff who prepared these meals.

Popped in on the way home to Adelaide, on a public holiday. It wasn't busy, but staff were really friendly, our chicken schnitzels were perfect - real chicken breast - and chips were nice and crispy. A great place to stop when travelling.

OMG - worse place to eat ever. Went for dinner June 2022 long weekend. Arrived at 6pm to the restaurant - still no food at 0830pm. I ordered roast pork - didn't even have potatoes - had to ask for some sort of potato - they sent out about 7 chips. We try to support local but never again. Apparently it's changing hands or has changed hands and they got rid of previous staff.
The staff that were on were pleasant and accommodating but never, ever, again. Mediocre food- extremely poorly managed. And I hardly ever give 1 star reviews.

Been here twice now, both times had the parmi and both times were disappointing. The main taste was cheese which was piled on way to heavily. The sauce was decent, and I believe if you just got a schnitzel it would be a pretty good meal. However the chips were poor being soggy and under seasoned. The salad and veg bar was average at best. Coleslaw And pasta were very dry, potato salad was hard and the pumpkin was undercooked.

Had delicious oysters followed by an excellent pork belly. The food was delicious.

Well priced, value for money pub meals! The biggest let down is the salad bar/hot vegetables, there is a very poor selection which really lets the entire meal down. I encountered this over several nights! Perhaps Covid caused this, not too sure. I just call it as I see it!

Had the flathead, beautifully cooked,nice chips,and there is a great salad/veg.bar,which the waitress serves to your table. Huge meal, well worth a visit.

Good meals and generous servings. Nice, clean accommodation and great service by all staff in the bar and dining room. Highly recommend!

Stayed there after two years still a fantastic place staff great meals are yummy. Plus's you are very close to the lake safe for children

We have eaten here many times and always loved it. But tonight we waited an hour and 20 minutes for the first meals to arrive and hour and a half for the final ones plus 1 fish that didn't turn up at all and had to be refunded. We were warned they were slow at the moment so we were expecting a delay but this was beyond acceptable. There was another table that had been waiting 2 and a half hours for their meals that also sought refunds. Told it was because they had a new chef but very disappointed with the service and the response to our complaints. We come here most years but doubt any of our group will be willing to come back.

Shocking service, incredibly rude staff, a "manager" who refused to listen to our complaint about waiting two hours for our order and the food was about the same quality my 4 year old could cook.
Don't waste your time, money or energy going to this diner.
Who ever actually owns or runs this place needs to take a good hard look at all these negative reviews and act to change their service, staff, food and reputation.

Poor and rude customer service. Inadequately deals with customer complaints.
Out of a table of 16 we complained about one meal. The roast lamb was extremely chewy and hard to cut. We asked for a replacement and we were refused, so we asked for a refund and again we were refused. We asked to see the manager and again we were refused because she was 'busy cook' and 'looked' at the meal and decided nothing was wrong with it.
They were rude and arrogant and refused to deal with the complaint.

I was pretty unhappy with my service. The waitress yelled at my friends son for pouring himself water from the tap on the counter...how were we to know. It was facing us?!
Then when she cleared my plate I said "that was actually really nice" and she responded "you act surprised". She was so rude and I was left shocked. I will not go here again next river trip.

Meal was pretty good waitresses were nice just missing the mark with there menu. Also heard a chef walking past a late table saying "it better not be steak". also another guy from the kitchen with a huge beard. Probably wont go back unless changes are made.

Service was wonderful, budget rooms are what you'd expect from a country motel. Very clean and well presented. Would happily stay again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
