Very well maintained public course

Green fees on a Sunday were $40 which also included a drink voucher for the clubhouse - carts were $20 p/person for 18 holes, $12.50 for 9.

Immaculate greens and fairways - all par 3 or 4 - hole length predominantly 130-200m with a few longer distance of 250-360m thrown in.

Picturesque fairways adorned with plenty of trees however spacious enough to accommodate the odd rough shot!

Proshop were friendly - usual pricing for snacks/drinks

Can't wait to play another round here!

Great Course, hilly yet interestly challenging. Not like most courses which are flat long and boring.

Have a great fun day today for the US kids tournament. Thanks for the hospitality. First time I have seen volunteers for spotters, helping the kids to find their balls. With up and down, and valleys, it is a lovely course to play golf.

A cheap and cheerful local golf club. It's not going to be a top tier golf course, it's a bit too short for that, but the course layout is fun and provides a bit of a challenge, and the facilities are good. You could do a lot worse than Bardwell Valley for a Sunday arvo social round with mates. The holes at the bottom of the valley can be a bit soggy if it has rained recently due to the geography of the course, so that's worth keeping in mind.

Soggy, mini golf course ! Short holes, all crammed up to make 18 holes, but without par 5's and total adding up to only 62 strokes. Besides, the grounds are soggy due to recent rains which cannot be easily drained/ dried off due to narrow valleys blocking the natural winds & sun. May be convenient for the locals, but definitely it's a child's play.

Father's Day lunch on the balcony overlooking the intensely green valley of fairways, trees and shrubs. Good service, generous helpings. Pokies, if they have them, quarantined somewhere out of sight. No traffic noise, a sheltered and verdant enclave. A hidden treasure.

I great bar and Sunday Jazz once a month is incredible 3-6 pm highly recommend it !!

Great food, well prepared and very tasty. Beautiful view looking out over the impeccable golf course. Brendan is a fabulous chef and has pride in his cooking.

Some very, very boggy and swampy areas on the fairways due to the recent heavy rainfall but it didn't affect the round too much. Greens are undulating and interesting which is a nice change from other local courses with flat pancakes. Easy to lose a ball or two in the thick rough here.

Not a bad spot to lose golf balls, need to be careful when hitting plenty of folks walking thru the area. Friendly place play can be a bit slow it gets quite crowded.

It was a miracle to even book a public round in the first place since there is no one picking up the phones. I tried to find someone in the office...no one, the bar...no one, the pro shop..... no one. How do I get a hold of someone here? 2 stars just because I managed to book a round. I left a message as well no one came back to me. Hopefully I can change this review after I go to the course.

Edit: Course is very hilly, not the best maintained but I did enjoy it. The Proshop person was quite nice, and shop is well stocked. It is a hard course to walk because of all the hills.

Great COurse and the bunker's food is fantastic. Usually more of a pub person but this golf club is outstanding.

Nice course. Terrain is not very forgiving. Good prices.

The Bunker's food is amazing, I recommend the pizzas and the cheeseburger spring rolls. A mate had the special, the ribs and they looked great. Will return!

Beautiful course! The dining and view after a day out is fantastic. Only losing 1 star due to the excess weeds along the creek.

I had a hit as a visitor in the Saturday open comp alongside my mate Paul 'The Kareela Kid' Rigoni aka Riggers & we had an enjoyable round with 2 friendly members. Allowing visitors on a Saturday is reason enough to rate this golf course highly & it's a pleasure to visit a local club with a good bunch of local members. The course is in reasonably good condition with plenty of grass on the tee boxes & the greens are decent too. The cosy clubhouse is nothing flash but the beer on tap is great & the food is excellent.

This course in the valley is an enjoyable place for a hit, it has lush & hilly fairways & the greens are large & well groomed. It's a bit different & although there's a few patchy areas it offers an alternative to your usual flat courses. There's carts available or if you're keen the 18 hole walk leaves you thirsty for a beer & a meal at clubhouse afterwards. The Willie The Boatman 'Albo' pale ale on tap is very tasty. There's also some appealing budget membership options that include free unlimited midweek golf.

Nice, tight course for accuracy improvement. Not the best quality, however the cheap price reflects that. Great deal 18 holes with a cart for 2 $50 - hard to beat.

Tough little course along a creek. Greens could use some TLC but they just add to the challenge

Not the nicest course, but it is cheap so that redeems it. Also I played terribly but I managed to birdie hole #10, redeemed the day.
