Great place to eat good food and watch the people walk by

This is a very mediocre pub just near Railway Square. Food is suboptimal, so I wouldn't consider eating elsewhere as you have so many options and Spice Alley is just around the corner. Tap beer is limited in variety unless you like all the commercial brands. Has a gambling room which you need to venture through on the way to the ladies toilets. Now they are an experience. Not the worst but certainly not the best. Nice seats at the window to people watch and a pool table if you like to play. Still figuring out how it's still operating ???"

Bar manager with glasses kicked us out literally for no reason at all. Then gave us a hard time when we asked for refund on the food we'd already paid for but hadn't come out yet. Unbelievable. Getting kicked out of this joint of all places. Been coming here all my life and never had a problem.

$17 for a pint of stone and wood, don't need to say much more than that, are you taking the absolute Michael or what. Absolutely outrageous how much they charge, utterly disgusting. Used to be a good bar but the new owners have destroyed what was once an institution.

Wonderful place if you wanna try how a steak might taste like after putting in the fridge for over half a year??

Amazing Thai chilli basil fried rice! I was skeptical as it's Thai food in a bar, everything from portion, price, and taste was amazing! Very tasty. Friendly and quick service.
The bar itsself is chill as well.

New owners, new manager, looked promising but they are hopeless. Clock watches. Staff are good but new licensee is screwing this pub up like he did to Maloneys and concord pub. Once he is gone to pub will be good again like the old days

Bar Broadway used to be a cool rock dive bar. But since the new owners took charge in October '22 it has taken a dive downhill.

Standout issues are:
- They have amped up the lighting massively. Which normally is a problem for a pub that is open till daylight, but especially for one that the windows are effectively the walls. From the outside looking in there is no privacy for the patrons and they basically look like exhibits.

- Drink prices have taken a massive hike up.

- Appears to a be a new DJ who plays music that only he and his girlfriend enjoys: read the room no one likes it.

- They cant decide on a consistent theme: night club, pub or rock dive bar? They keep some of the memorabilia from their successful dive bar days, yet amp up the lights but also employ a DJ....what are you going for here?

There are going to be changes or this place will be up for sale again.

Very chill and cosy place. The staff are the friendliest and they have a good selection of beers and cocktails.
The price is cheap compared to other bars in this area, especially with student discount.

I used to always enjoy having the chicken schnitzel for lunch. Was a bit hit and miss at times my most recent visit was a positive hit. For those who like a good schnitzel and work near Central this is a good place to go.

Bit of anew mob and they as chill and friendly as you could want. Great music always important. If smoking area for fossils like me 5 star

Atfer a night of travels , pulled in here with back pack and suitcase looking for a cold beer and a win on the pokies , politely asked the Security that was on the door if we may enter and put our stuff against a wall oout of the way , but he looked at us with all of our luggage and said umm
NO i cant let you in with all that luggsge , so he was disciminating against us because of our luggage, so we looked at each other with a shocked look and moved on to the next pub, witch was a big let down but at least they expected us and with our luggage

This is a pub that is open late. It is a compelling reason to go there when Sydney nightlife is a bit quiet. Unfortunately due to arbitrary reasons, gambling!. It does not want people to enjoy a pint when they are celebrating a conclusion. The bouncer was objectively nasty. These places are casinos, I doubt they could otherwise explain their lack of judgment. It pisses in our image as a city.

If you spend $16 on food here you get disappointment with a side of devastation. The chicken burger was mystery meat pattie and the calamari was chewier than a nuns fanny. The deep fryer must have been running on matchsticks because they were softer than when you take one for the boys and you get stuck with the fat one. To be honest that would probably be a better experience.
At least the drinks were cold.

Very unique "ambiance", lots of "interesting" characters. Its open till 6am and serves alcohol, what more do you want / expect

Clean and spacious good covid safety standards and they make a nice cocktail ?

One of the most relaxing bars to be in the sydney central area. Manager Kimi is one of the nicest people you will meet. The whole staff makes sure that everyone is well relaxed. Definitely a place worth coming for some drinks over some great tunes.

A great bar close to the central station as far as price of the combo meals is concerned. The Thai food though was a bit oily than normal but loved the visit overall.

Great friendly staff and regulars, very clean and great music playing all night. The place to be to meet great people and have a good laugh all night.

The meat is not freash enough. Smells bad. Taste like rubber. Fat is not trimmed. The bar guy is very friendly, and the ice water he made is better much than my steak.

I made numerous calls to the restaurant, 10 minutes after the expected delivery time to check the eta for the delivery. The restaurant did not answer any of the 5 calls. At this point i have been waiting from 8:30-9:20pm for the delivery. 10pm arrives and at this point im completely over it and decide to call the quits and go to sleep after making food from home. I wake up at 11pm to missed calls from the driver at 10:20pm. That is 1 hour after expected delivery time! I think i should of been advised that the food was running 1 hour late? I was staying at a hotel, they could of left it in the lobby with my room number that i had left on the delivery address? Multiple avenues could of been taken, yet none were. Not only did i not get to enjoy the food even if it was cold, because the drive took the food home with him, i cant even get a refund. Thanks for a wasting my sunday night.
