Had dinner at the steak house tonight. Ordered steak, crumbed lamb cutlets and 2 cheese burgers. Cheesecake and apple crumble for dessert. Every meal was fantastic and the service and value for money was really good ??'?

Visiting thru Grafton and stopped here for dinner. Quick service, good size portions and well cooked. Well worth a visit. Cider on tap good too.

The owners are so lovely. The staff are friendly and know almost all the locals by name. Their family orientated and the food is decently priced and the quality possibly one of the best in Grafton. Definitely worth a visit if your new in town.

Today was disgusting.the service was abissmal.waited over an hour for a simple salad.we had ordered at 6pm and did not get meal receive until a hour later.we were one of the first to order but that didn't mean anything .other people ordered after us and they received their meals 30min before us ate and left before we received our meals. I can't give a 'no' star review have to reluctantly give 1 star.

Usually love this place. Today I ordered southern chicken soft tacos with coleslaw and salsa. Waited an hour to get 3 strips of chicken in a shell with cabbage. Asked for salsa, got two teaspoons of chopped tomato. I kid you not. That's it. You gotta do better than that, Aussie. If it's busy, buy more food and put on more staff.

Had dinner at the restaurant, absolutely aweful. Firstly meal comes out with mushroom gravy, allergic to this ( I did not ask for this I asked for plain gravy). Next the meal comes back with chips not the mash I requested, which I let slide. But the Vegetables were coated in PEPPER and salt, apparently this is the seasoning. Meal was not edible except for the over cooked cutlets. And yes I did let them know and all I got was oh I'm sorry, but that's our seasoning. God help any child who orders vegies, my mouth is still burning.

Dropped in for lunch last week on my travels, the pub food was delicious. I had a BLT with chicken, it was moist and I would go for another quick meal. The barmaid that served me was a mature, confident, woman, who was the only one on at the time and the bar was full of Tradies, she didn't bat an eye lid, knows her stuff. It's staff that know the establishment, customer's with amazing disposition, that you'll want to visit again.

3 out of 4 meals delivered, 4th meal did not arrive, "nearly ready,,I will look for you. Sorry can't find your order, must be lost in the kitchen. " money refunded but dinner absolutely ruined for everyone. A birthday lunch ruined because hotel had minimal staff.

Every year we travel from Sydney to the Gold Coast, staying overnight in Grafton, and every time we enjoy a lovely dinner at the Australian Hotel. Staff are friendly, the meals are prompt, generously-sized and delicious. We always look forward to the steaks!

Our motel nearby recommended we dine here. Very good choice. Cold beer and wine. We ordered steaks - excellent quality meat - slightly overdone to order but nonetheless very good. served with our choice of chips and salad - very fresh. Dining room had atmosphere in this very old pub. Service friendly and efficient.

Depends on who serves you! Most of the staff are fantastic, but it only takes one to spoil the overall feel for a place. More than once we've come up against a surly dark-haired woman behind the bar. Short pours and bad attitude. Such a pity...!

Very disappointed ? ordered a so called garlic bread when served could only taste butter ask the staff for a re-make manager personally came to the table to say that's how they make it and tuff luck asked for a refund and was very rude about it and would not refund will definitely not be returning zero stars

Can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here. At worst some may be average. But usually good. Staff are friendly. Pretty good pub.

It was terrible up until I ordered a chicken parmigiana and when it arrived at my table the chicken was completely raw then it was even more terrible. McDonald's can cook a better feed than them any time of the week.

I had a T-bone steak and it was delicious, but the mushroom sauce was even better.
