Very nice view of course from dining room

First time social golf visitors. It is a lovely course and fairly well maintained. There's a very nice bistro and bar attached.

Just a shame that one person nearly soured the entire experience by behaving in an extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming manner. He stopped us in THE MIDDLE OF VERY FIRST HOLE and interrogated us rather rudely about one of us not having a separate BAG (for the only 3 clubs: 2 irons + 1 putter, that they have as a beginner!!). One of us was carrying only half a bag so what was the harm in sharing a bag? He even sounded extremely accusatory when checking to make sure that we paid for 3 players! Adding to the insults, he then had the nerve to circle back and accuse us of not repairing our divots when they had clearly been filled properly.

Asquith golf club is great and we would love to come back but please beware of a certain member of staff that can ultimately spoil everyone's enjoyment of golf. Otherwise a great day was nearly marred by that one encounter. Hopefully this won't happen again.

Recently here for lunch with a group of six.
The food was received well enough. But you cannot do too much wrong with calamari and chips and a burger. The fried rice special was ordinary. The shrimp were miniscule and tasteless although the overall dish was tasteless too. Portions were generous.
The lady behind the bar was a delight, so friendly and happy, made the visit.
Fine as a place to catch up with people and have some nosh but I would not go for the nosh only.

A new group of people running the bistro and still finding their way. A new improved menu. The food was very good. Look for improvement.

I don't play golf but pleasant place for a meal.

This is one of my all time favourite courses in Sydney. In its prime, it's immaculately maintained. Lush and beautiful. A thoroughly challenging course that is enjoyable, even when you are being beaten by it.

Last week, however, this gorgeous course was badly affected by rain and the mud made playing a round unrecognisable as golf.

I really hope Asquith returns to its former glory. The loss of such a golf course is a significant blow to all golfers.

Beautiful setting offering fantastic food , family friendly with staff who are happy to stop and have a chat .
Nice way to spend weekends while having lunch.

Great course between Gosford and Sydney. Fun par 3s and some challenge long holes. Walkable but a cart is recommend.

A great place for a game of Golf, great views, then food and drinks. Expect a good work out walking the course. There are a few hills.

My club. Quite a challenging course. Relatively well maintained but not in the class of Strathfield GC or say Liverpool GC. The visitors fees especially for member's guests fees are well above average of golf courses of same class. The staff at the club and pro shop a very friendly.

Great food and staff as well as nice views over the course

Nice course, had a great game but too costly if you are future golf member to play at comp there, had to pay 82$ for a single round!

We held an all day business meeting here and had a great experience...the coffee was good (no 1 priority). The facilities were more than equal to our requirements (beautiful view across the course) with some equipment provided to meet our needs. Lunch was excellent and the service was friendly and intrusive. This is a nice suburban club and we had a very good experience with the meeting overall.

The fairways and greens are in great condition. Had a great round of fun golf despite trouble on the testy par fives.
The lunch was excellent. I had the barramundi with chips and salad (GF). Others had pies, burgers or a dozen spring rolls.

Great local club. Good food, fun trivia nights once a month, reasonable prices and easy parking.

Awesome staff, awesome food, awesome view. I don't play golf so don't know how the course is but it looks lovely and well kept

Good testing course. With good water traps and undulating ground. Cut fairways are well kept. Greens are true.

Great course if you haven't been there it's well worth the trip

Stopped here for lunch. Its a spacious dining area with a wonderful view over the golf course. It has a great menu and the service and food were fantastic.

Nice golf course, each hole has different challenges but fun to play. Teeing off from 1st and 10th at elevated levels are always fun.

Good value all you can play special in the afternoon for $25. The greens are very nice with good pace but the fairways appear to be struggling with lack of water in summer. The clubhouse looks nice but it closed too early to go inside after the round.
