Stayed there last night . Although the owners are pleasant the rooms are over priced 2 single beds in old rooms nothing else. $120
Cheaper at motel with all the pleasantries

We stayed here for the Walcha Cup weekend. We were all extremely happy with every aspect of the accommodation. The rooms were clean. The shower had good pressure and the kitchen was great. We can't wait to come back again

We passed through on New Years Eve and had great friendly service and nice food! Good place to hang out to escape the cold weather.

If I could zero stars I would. Probably the worst place I've ever stayed. Filthy rooms and bathrooms, the smell in the place I still can't get out of my nose. The whole place including the pub was so run down. Food was not the best and if I'd have seen the kitchen earlier I wouldn't have fed my dog the food there. Do not rate

Not a bad place but not cleaned regularly. We found the shower/toilet rooms filthy. Toilet paper all over the place and pee as well. No soap provided and we had to ask for a second towel in a double room.
Lamps in rooms don't work, room door locks not operating(including girls toilet) general maintenance was lacking.
Some our large group had booked single rooms but had to share rooms as another group booked as well.
Atmosphere and food were great.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed.
The hotel's location was perfect, allowing easy access to popular attractions and dining options.
I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property.
Without a doubt, I'll be returning to this wonderful hotel for my future travels.

Had dinner here tonight as we were staying one night in Walcha, passing through on a work trip. I can't recommend this hotel enough! The service is warm and friendly, and the food and wine were divine. We will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Apsley Arms Hotel in Walcha, and I must say it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that immediately put me at ease.

The staff at the Apsley Arms Hotel went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making my experience memorable. From offering helpful local recommendations to promptly addressing any requests, their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident at every turn.

We had dinner there on a very cold night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and offered us a table beside the fire which was very appreciated and very enjoyable. The food was great so would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely loved staying here! The owners are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable (nice and warm in the winter), the house beer is awesome, but the best part is the chef. 'Cookie' makes the BEST food. We tried the popcorn prawns, ribs, the Nepalese chicken curry, pizza and Nepalese rice pudding - all of which were really tasty and great value for money. Would 100% recommend staying here, and we will be back.

Nepalese chicken curry was great. Good to see other items on the menu besides standard pub grub. Friendly service. Will come back.

Great pub. Good range of beer and wine. We had the lamb linguini and the ribs. Great flavour. Wonderful friendly service.

Lovely warm welcoming for the owner! Food was delicious and tasty. Only been there once, but you are made to feel like a local!
Would recommend to anyone riding the Oxley Highway to stay here!

Excellent old Aussie pub. Has plenty of clean rooms to stay in & a secure lockup area for cars & bikes. Excellent choice of lunch specials & dinners including authentic Nepalese food. Had the rump before and now a pizza. Both were tasty and hot. Superb location in town. Try the Apsley Arms Ale, a beer made especially for the hotel?Loved my time at this pub!

We popped in for a late lunch and were blown away by the super friendly welcome from staff. The manager owner made us feel like friends from the start and we shared memories of Nepal with him as well as enjoying the niche offerings of Nepalis food which was delicious. We saw plates of chips and huge steaks go by so true Aussie pub food looked great too.

Rooms very average for the price and very dated. Out of date milk in kitchen. Undergoing Reno's so will wait and see how much better they make it. Service was excellent though.

Had a lunch at the hotel which was most enjoyable. Dumpling entrees were delicious, as was the pork ribs. Service was warm and very friendly. Can recommend.

At this time it's the only pub serving food in Walcha. Nice pub however with great food and a friendly publican who will make you as comfy as he can. There's accom upstairs and off street parking motor bikes.
There's a first rate cafe right next door for the morning after.

AMAZING!!! The people are the friendliest people you will ever meet, and the food is INCREDIBLE, And they have a beautiful wood fire! Best pub and hotel ever 10/10 also they put chicken salt on theyre chips SO TASTY I LOVE IT!!

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing.Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside around that part of the city.We will come again!

Walked in after lunch hour, and the staff here were happy to feed and drink us. Food was nice, hearty and just what we needed

Rooms overpriced. Lady behind the bar appeared to have been in the job to long. Used to have good pizza, not at the moment. Tasted awful

I had dinner here, place was packed. Beer was fresh and cold. Food was good, happy to eat here next time I'm in town.

I spent a night there. The room had no furniture, other than the bed. My things were all over the floor. There were some hooks. The room has no basin either.
There is no microwave, no oven or cook top.
There is the usual inadequate pub breakfast.
