My wife and I got married here and could not recommend it enough! Amy was amazing helping us with the whole planning process as well as on the day. Shane and Alex were our managers for the night and we couldn't have asked for anyone better! We had an incident with a guest and they handled it perfectly and discreetly and constantly checked in on me and my wife throughout the night. All staff involved on the day/night were honestly awesome and we can't thank them enough for an absolute amazing wedding day and gorgeous venue. Thanks again guys you're the best and all our guests agree! Highly, highly recommend.

Our wedding day 6th of April 24 at Smoked garage was everything and more! We attended a wedding showcase prior to booking and were blown away. Amy The venue manager was fantastic. I bugged the absolute crap out of her and she just made the whole process easy and extremely Accommodating with any requests I needed. The venue exceeds expectations, literally photos don't do it justice. Nothing but compliments about the food. It's was delicious. The venue and wedding packages are very reasonably priced. Very convenient being in the middle of Brisbane as well. We had a cocktail style wedding - absolutely phenomenal, Staff were fantastic and the owner Shane making sure 130 Guests were well looked after. Thank you all for what will be the Most memorable day of our lives. The whole team really went above and beyond To make this night, absolutely perfect. Thank you all so much. ðŸ-¤

Smoked Garage is amazing! We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Amy, the Events Manager, was very helpful and guided us through any questions or concerns we had.
The food was excellent and the venue set-up was exactly how I pictured it. They went beyond my expectations. Overall, the whole place was magical. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat to anyone.

We choose Smoked Garage for our engagement party/surprise wedding. And we are so glad we did.
From the start the planning was simple and communication with Amy was great.
The staff on the evening all understood that is was a surprise wedding and not only helped keep our secret, but shared in the excitement with us. Words cannot describe how incredible Smoked Garage is! We got married there over the weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is so uniquely beautiful on its own with the chandeliers, high ceilings and large windows - just stunning! The staff, service and food were absolutely amazing on the night!

A big thank you to Amy for helping me throughout the planning stage to create our dream day! And a big thank you to Shane for running the day for us and keeping us calm!

Found out no one incl bar staff knew about happy hour nor did they work hard to serve the waiting people with drinks. Of course, yet again the band was no turn out.

Parma was nice but salad was coleslaw with grated carrot and a few peas.

A very nice place for a drink and some food. Plenty of different spaces to sit and relax. Just be prepared to wait for your food.

Great place for a feed and drinks for friends and family. In saying the be aware they can't read the audience. The average audience would have been 40 plus so what music do they put on? Doof Doof (face palm). Here we are a table of 8 people forced out of the place because they want to play a loud beat. They need to read the room and its clear they have no idea how too. In saying that, the food is great and they have a great variety. Maybe the noise is to get you out so you spend less. Works well then. Get in, eat and get out.

Great place. Staff were so friendly, one in particular even coming out to our car to see if I had lost my earring! Food tasted great.

Good vibe and service was friendly but unprofessional at times. Food was awful. Ordered the barramundi and a Parma. Chips were cold, barely any fish way too much batter and salad was very boring with no dressing. Parma was so rubbery!!!! And bland ??'?🏻. Beer was good though

Recommend if you want to watch the footy on a big screen. Good meals also and live music to boot.

The atmosphere was cosy, there were singer playing guitars and TV to watch Aussie football. But the downside was that there were too many people on the day, the waiters were busy and there was no salt and pepper on our table. The pork taco was very good taste and I recommend it!

First time here for dinner. We ordered starters as main meal as the main course is not attractive enough, otherwise I'll give a 5 star review. Also got a beer n margarita, great to find somewhere does cocktail. Nice vibe and service. Would recommend.

The service and atmosphere here are beautiful, the outdoor BBQ joint I. The beer garden is a nice touch also. The stand out meal was the Louise burger and the Poutine. Highly recommend trying them, my new favourite Echuca eatery.

I had recently been there doing a photograph shoot for the winter blues festival and the staff were nice enough to cater for me with locations to get photos however the 2 bars had 2 different prices on their non alcoholic beverages.

So needless to say if I wanted to spend a bit less I had to walk upstairs to get it a bit cheaper wich is rather unusual.

I usually love this venue. The staff, the atmosphere, the layout and decor, and the food. But this lunch ?? not so much. A cold steak sandwich with an unsliced slab of hard overcooked steak and cold chips the color of a fluoro yellow tradie vest. How do chips get to be that color?
But all is forgiven - we all have our off days so we'll be back.

Ordered battered fish. Received 2 pieces, the bottom piece being hidden underneath a nice piece. The fish had been refried and was unfit to be presented to customers.

Chef should have picked the mistake, waitress should have picked it up after Chef misses this grave error.

Waste money, no taste at all. My bf try chicken parma to be safe. Cause we never been here, but parma was very dry and seafood linguine no taste at all. Very disappointed...

Awesome pub, good staff and great range of beers and drinks! The fitout is great and suitable for all seasons and weather. Will be back for sure.

Had a great evening. Booked a table right next to the fireplace. Perfect setting for a cold winters night. My first time in Echuca and the American Hotel did not disappoint.
The decor, atmosphere, layout, service and friendly staff was excellent. There are a range of areas to sit and dine and the menu had plenty on offer. It was a busy night which added to the appeal so the food took a little longer, but it is to be expected during school holidays.

Was great, considering covid regs, we sat outside for drinks. Staff were a little busy, seemed understaffed but very polite & friendly. Hopefully next time will stay for a meal inside. Have had breakfast in the courtyard a few yrs back & it was wonderful.

Sorry American, we expected better. After reading good reviews, along with the price, we expected amazing meals. Ours were average as well as small. Lucky we'd ordered a side of chips. We also ordered a garlic bread, which was an interesting take on a garlic cob... Also, please change your new ordering system - it is not user friendly, at all - bring back the old fashioned menu.

Nice atmosphere, quick service. Great food with choices of small or large servings. Gluten free options. Not the usual pub food, great seafood salads and pasta dishes.

Read the reviews before we ate. Got a bit nervous.
Pork and fennel sausages were excellent. The Parmi was very ordinary. I would come back just for the beer variety. I would give the food a second go. Seems to be a bit hit and miss with the food quality. I hit and the missus missed. In saying that, a great vibe and good beer selection. Not your average country town boozer.
