The staff and service we had in Airlie Beach Hotel was the best we've had in a long time at a hotel. They were so accomodating for our family, went the extra mile to make our kids comfortable and were very professional. The room (suite) was so spacious, the kitchen very well equipped and was so clean and organised. We will definitely return one day and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Airlie. We booked for the location being across the road from the beach, but the hotel itself exceeded our expectations.

Arlie Beach Hotel is a great option if you're looking for a fun stay. They offer a nice pub/restaurant and a lively sports bar, both of which are highlights. They also have a pool that's perfect for sunny days. The location is excellent, with plenty of activities to enjoy nearby.

However, the hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. The rooms, while clean and decent, are a bit outdated. The room service is very basic, just arranging the bed and changing towels, but the overall cleaning could be better.

Despite these downsides, I would recommend the hotel for a short stay due to its convenient location and fun atmosphere.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. I've honestly stayed in hostels that are better than this. For starters, it should not be advertised or priced as a 4-star accommodation, it's a 2-star at best. Thankfully we only stayed one night. Our room had so much dust and the appliances were so dirty (headboard, wall base, sink faucet, shower curtain, coffee machine, utensils, iron, etc). It was as if the room hadn't been dusted in weeks. Additionally, it was run down and did not match the photos shown on the website. The hotel room(s) are in dire need of a renovation. The bathroom (shower curtain rail, sink faucet, shower handle) are severely rusted and after each use there was an intense sewage smell coming from the drains. The only "wall" separating your room from the public corridor is a glass wall with a curtain - which was not obvious to us prior to booking the room nor did we see any photos showing this on the website. Unfortunately the best part about this hotel is the location (close to the ferry). Safe your money and stay somewhere else, it's not worth it.

Beautiful place to stay. Close to downtown area. Walkable space everywhere. Simple breakfast included - even fancy coffee drinks per person - it was delicious every morning. There is a laundry room, which we used twice, and all is good.

Great location, comfortable room, but very noisy. Great for partying, not great for sleeping. Even though we had family room farthest away from the pub. Music was loud until late. Then drunken patrons rolling in after 1am, then scaffolding construction workers started up before 6am.

Wow, this place is the best place to stay if you want to be right in action. The rooms are great, spacious, and modern. Being above the hotel is the best as the hotel always has the best live bands, and the place rocks. The food is also excellent, and the salad bar to have with your meal is great. Don't forget the lollies and desserts at the bar as well.

I had my 18th in Airlie and we went to the Airlie Beach hotel for drinks and to listen to live music after dinner, such a good vibe. The bar staff were amazing. The live music was spectacular. So much fun. Everyone was so accommodating. Highly recommend :)

Came here for a Saturday lunch, they've done a great job at refurbishing this place and is very inviting! Food was delicious and great entertainment.
However, the prices for drinks and food are astronomical, cheaper drinks in Brisbane city. I would avoid here unless your pockets are deep.

Beautiful hotel and bar.
Stayed in one of the older room facing the courtyard, all rooms were freshly renovated, bed comfortable, strong A/C. No noise what's over at night, had a great experience here.
Facilities were great, the pool is nested in the back with plenty of chairs to lay on and the laundry was really handy.
The restaurant offered a typical pub food menu, I would say only downsize is drinks we're definitely overpriced.

According to my wife, I had a great night here listening to the band and chatting to the staff. I even got up to dance😱.
I do know the staff are incredibly friendly and the security staff ensure you have a great evening. I didn't eat here, but everything looked amazing.
Would love to visit again with the family.
Maybe one day.

The hotel was of a good standard and hotel staff were friendly. Location was perfect for easy access to restaurants and beach. Disappointed that bed sheets were not changed in the 5 days we stayed there even after putting a sign on our door for housekeeping. We found the music from the pub below too loud and it was played all day and into the evening and could be heard from our superior ocean view rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, even blasted through speakers in the pool area during the day.

Stopped here for a few meals and to watch the band's. AC/DC tribute band was fantastic. Meals were great. Pizza was fantastic. This place really goes off.

We stayed nearby to this hotel and thought to give it a go for dinner.

We were very impressed with quick and friendly service. They offer salad/hot food buffet with dessert options. Great value for money.
My favourite was Moreten Bay bugs, got three of them (6 half's) for $49, delicious.
Husband had the 500g steak, which he only really needed 300g with the buffet offering.

This hotel gets busy for evening meals, either book a table or get there before 6pm for a table.

Our family had the best day today, Father's Day, at the Airlie Beach Hotel, everyone's meals were spot on, the buffet with a great selection of side dishes was a great addition to our meal choices, & the desert bar was a true winner with us all. We all totally enjoyed the band Soul Chisel for the afternoon, & the kids really enjoyed the dancing & music. I want to acknowledge the owner of this terrific venue, he was very generous to us as visitors to his hotel & we have not ever experienced such warm generosity. Thank you for a great day ⭐️

Excellent pub on the Esplanade. Very popular. Recommend making a booking if you thinking about dining in. We had a small wait for a table for dinner as place was crowded. Live music playing- very loud hard to have conversations bit otherwise a good atmosphere. We we were told there was a wait of 50 min for food which was not a problem but it was out in about 25 min so that was excellent. Food was really good we had the big bird Parma and a chicken schnitzel. Get the mash instead of chips you won't regret it! Highly recommended.

Had an issue with my room, hotel were extremely accommodating and helped relocate to a different room. Suggest checking if your room is next to the vents that extract from the kitchen to avoid unwanted humming noise if that sort of thing bothers your sleep (intermittent, though was constant whilst in that room). Otherwise, all rooms very clean and well presented, location is probably the best in Airlie

Fantastic location. Room was pleasant. Smelt strongly of toilet disinfectant when we entered and when I had a bath I got out smelling of bleach. A sign the room was clean!! But maybe I should have known to rinse the bath first. Nothing a shower didn't sort.
We opened the bathroom door and patio door and the smell soon went.
Stayed in a twin garden view which was HUGE and had a lovely view of mountain, pool and marina.

Special mention to Sandy who was so very helpful and friendly. She made us feel very welcome when we arrived and when we checked out.

Lovely modern warm and clean rooms. Air con and tv on when arrived ready for us. Comfortable bed. Wonderful location near beach.

Stayed here one night on a transfer before heading to a nearby island. The hotel is in a great location, but the room was less than desirable. We walked into the room for it to smell SO strongly of urine. Shutting the bathroom door helped minimally but the fact that the smell was that strong is a clear indication of the cleanliness.

Had booked for dinner at the Airlie beach hotel for tonight. Venue is presentable and clean and location is great. Ordered the steak and ribs combo and asked for the steak to be cooked medium. The food came to the table warm, the steak was very well done and the ribs were dry, flaky and over cooked. It was not a pleasant experience for $120. I was very disappointed after I won't be rushing back.

Great location and Saturday afternoon entertainment at the bar downstairs is amazing. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy, We had beautiful views. The staff were polite. We did run out of hot water at 6.30pm but it was fully booked so I assume everyone was in the shower at the same time.
Update. No hot water in the morning either and no compensation for the inconvenience of not having a shower for the duration of our stay

The fish and chips was the best I've ever tasted! Amazing value, and access to the salad bar too with the meal!

Great atmosphere and diligent staff. We enjoyed our overnight stay. Our room was modern and super clean. There is pride of ownership by all staff we met, The food was high quality, too honest pub food choices, all overlooking the boardwalk to the ocean.

Rooms were average not 4 star more like 2-3 star food was very bad they have the monopoly as very few restaurants the food is awful very expensive and when I complained staff very indifferent it was eat it or don't 🤷‍♀️ Had 2 really bad meals there the Italian restaurant next door marvellous I would recommend the chef from the restaurant next door go to the PUB and educate the useless chef how to cook. The reception staff were great really friendly and helpful but we saw the management pushing the staff to get visitors to drink eat and spend money on pokeys it was horrible. The pool area clean but small and definitely not 4
Star my advice don't book its a money grabbing place management don't care about your stay because they are the biggest concern there they think they can treat visitors as they like my advise go elsewhere 😞

Management were very helpful arranging for us, a large group, to be moved indoors.
The service at the bar for drinks was the best I've experienced in a long time especially considering it was lunch time busy.
The food was pricey but worth it, my eye fillet with prawns and calamari was amazing.

Absolutely the best feed in town, price was cheaper than the "big name" franchise in town and also included the buffet incl desert! The Steak was cooked to order, and brilliant, how a steak should be. Recommend the house lager. Walked our stuffed and satisfied!

Going back again before we leave town!

Don't stay here, unless your an up at 5am on your holidays kind of person.
We had a contractor high pressure hosing from 6.30 and woke us up. Obviously he was super loud and no care was given to patrons staying, from those booking in contractor's.

Food was average, drinks were not the greatest, and prices were higher then your average pub, for basic servings.

Great location from reception to the cleaners they wanted to ensure you where enjoying your stay. Rooms clean and fresh. The Pub was always busing and the team polite and always engaging with conversations. I would recommend this as a must stay hotel or eat out. Thanks all.

We dropped in for lunch at Airlie Beach Hotel. First, we had drinks at the bar area next door, and then we popped into the restaurant section for one of the Best cooked and quality eye fillet steaks we have had in a very long time. My partner and I Highly recommend Airlie Beach Hotel for drinks and good eating!

I went to the pub for a delicious dinner, the service was great, the atmosphere was buzzing to the point where I decided I'd love to stay the night here. I went to reception and was served by Laura, who got me room with no problems. I must say I had one of the best sleeps the beds are so comfortable.

Best accommodation option in Airlie Beach. The location is perfect. Spectacular hotel in all its physical details and service, but mainly for offering excellent service. I would like to immensely thank Laura and Chris and all the other collaborators for their reception, attention and affection during my stay. Rooms are clean and welcoming. Beds and pillows are extremely comfy. The restaurant and pub are exceptional and super trendy: delicious food and a wide variety of drinks. I highly recommend it! This is the third time I've stayed at the hotel and I can't wait to return again.

Great location and beautiful hotel! Room was spacious, comfortable and cleaned with a nice ocean view. Great value and hotel greatly located close to the beach and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay, nice pub just downstairs however the service wasn't that great.
The only little thing is that I would've expected more assistance & help in terms of tour activities, cruises etc. Other than that everything was great.

Straight up.... spent 4 days in Airlie, the highlight were the two lads, coops and Dylan behind the bar. What absolutely legends... great at what they do. Always a pleasure to watch someone do something extremely well within their field. This lads are top of their game ?

The rooms are small but very nice. I like the design and open feeling.

The pub is very loud and can be a bit hard to work or rest peacefully in the earlier hours of the evening. This is not an issue after about 10pm.

The pricing is also not bad considering the location and the fact that it's Airlie Beach. If you're staying somewhere for a short stay then I would recommend this hotel

Great Food, Great Service. We went to the Airlie Beach restaurant. Even though they are very busy and it might be hard to reserve a table, they are very welcoming to walk-ins. We ended up going there twice because of their amazing service. Food is delicious, and they have nice variety for Vegetarians. I would highly recommend, as there is food for everyone. Their seasoned chips were the best chips I ever had. Would definitely visit again.

Very rude receptionist at day and at night. Was told restaurant was open for dining this was not the case CLOSED. Rooms basic, oldest bed I have ever slept on, pillows were low and no filling. To top it off milk was out of date by a month. Asking over $200 for a room a night, not worth it...

Awesome pub to enjoy a cold beer with exceptional food. Never disappoints. The vibe in the evening here is just amazing. Good to see it reopen after the damage caused during the storm a few years ago.

Can only comment on the pub experience, not the accommodation side. The food and drinks were great, service great, live music great, interior really cool and clean. nMeatballs and chills garlic prawns both delicious, although prawns not what I would consider a u2018hot potu2019 in terms of size/feasibility of a full meal. nClearly a very well managed venue.
