The Chicken Schnitzel was the savior of the dish. The Diane sauce was horrible, lumpy, cold and tasted like tomato purée with cream (Diane is one of the easiest sauces to make), mash was lumpy, poorly microwaved back to scolding hot and the vegetables were over steamed to a watery grave.

Had the best meal at the Adelaide Pub. The lamb chops were to die for. The service was great and the kitchen were happy and chatty with the customers. Would highly recommend a meal out here.

Recommended dish: chicken snitzels + 6 prawns with chips and salad, topped with garlic sauce.

Their garlic sauce was sensational!!! Tied the whole dish together.

I recommend paying extra for the sauce if you're there just for chips or wedges.

The hotel always seems busier than the surrounding restaurants and eateries.
They have a great range of dipping sauces, which makes it exciting to buy a bowl of chips just to try their sauce collection.
We had their chicken schnitzel with prawn toppings which was both filling and delicious.

Great place to stop for lunch on our way down South. Excellent service, the place is a little tired, but the food more than makes up for any shortcomings.

Very average food quality even for a pub meal but the pricing was on par for a much better pub.
Not a lot of effort by staff to make you feel welcome. Quite a surly bar manager who seemed to oversee rather than do anything useful when the queue grew large for a pre-booked couple of tables. Basically understaffed for the number they had knowingly anticipated. It could easily be so much better considering it's location.

Called in for lunch. What a great experience. We had the rump surf and turf and a chicken party both were excellent. The rump was cooked to perfection, as was the chicken. The helpings are generous and reasonably priced. Very enjoyable experience and well worth a visit

Best cocktails in the south coast, I had a Mojito
I highly recommend ordering 8 Crumbed Lamb Cutlets as the quality of the meat is high and culinary skills top notch.
Be sure to order/book ahead as this place is extremely popular.
It's a shame I didn't win the meat raffle, the bacon looked delicious.

Decent pub would recommend overall. Only letdown is they forgot our garlic bread and gave it to us after our meal was finished. The salad is also mid-low tier. Saw the chef's using their hands to serve it which turned me off it.

Food was great even with all the people there. Amazing staff who all chip in, and the place was absolutely spotless. A wonderful experience.

Had an amazing experience at this bistro. Fantastic with my son's food allergies. The food portions were huge, not to mention 5-star tasty. My sauce-fiend daughter fell in love with the sauce wall (not something I've seen in a bistro before, but what a smart addition). Staff were also very lovely. A wonderful experience that was a foodie holiday highlight.

Great honest pub food! Have been there a few times for lunch when passing. Comfortable outdoor beer garden, friendly staff, consistently good. Will be back again.

Had lunch here twice during the week. Great food and ample portions meant dessert had to become takeaway 'Sticky Date Pudding' . Easy parking and great service.

Nice atmosphere.Great service food we had was kibbles they were great fresh fruit and hot food as well we had a wake there great job thank you .

Had scotch fillet steak with chips/veg and 'mushroom sauce'. Steak was good size but anaemic on the outside (a few pretty grill marks is not a char) and the soup that was supposed to be mushroom sauce was rubbish-and to charge $3.50 for it is disgusting. I am pretty easy going but this was very ordinary.

What a delicious meal. The best out of home meal I have had since leaving Sydney.

This is our favourite Moruya lunch venue. Friendly, helpful service, disabled facilities are great and the food is excellent. Bar staff go out of their way to help. Thanks Adelaide Hotel.

Beautifully cooked vegetables. Had small sized meal but more than enough. Must add, the smaller meal was a choice, with price to reflect.

TOP PLACE. Great meal, excellent food and service, priced right. Definitely a place to sit back, relax and enjoy.

The hotel was very busy but the staff were friendly and the meal was great. The service was very quick for being so busy.

Had a nice meal- blue grenadier, chips and salad. Decent serving with 2 pieces of fish and crunchy chips. Nice salad with a yummy dressing. Husband had pork snags, mash(real potatoes!) And heaps of peas. Good size meal for good price. The atmosphere is much better now, as they have removed all the betting TV screens and made it feel more like a family bistro.
