Just popped in with some special needs friends and a unemployed Englishman due to the pub being shut due to a surprise visit from some DJ. I went an bought some beers which were super cold and at 2012 prices.
We liked it so much we went back the next night for a feed, more beers and some free pool. Took the courtesy bus there and home. Unfortunately no bowls were played due to inclement weather which was a bummer as i wanted to test out my flipper.

Stellar establishment. Came down with the boys to wet the whistle and smash a parmy. Staff were incredibly friendly and grub was top notch. Wonderful atmosphere exhibited with the locals who came down and were enthralled by the display of pool skill shown by us. At the end of the night staff gave us a free bag of ice and courtesy ride home. Driver gave us a town history on the ride back where I was flabbergasted to discover that the Subaru Forester was first built and sold in Brunswick. Would take the family down again.

Quiet friendly bar staff and waitresses. Not the same for the chef . Ordered a cheese burger. When I couldn't finish it due to it being drowned in mustard. I asked the waitresses to pass this onto the chef. We could hear the waitress passing the message on.He didn't even wait for us to have left to just laugh my comment off. I found that a bit unprofessional.

Booked a table for 5, didn't need to as was empty on a Friday night, which is not a good sign. Made to wait as we tried to order as the server had won a meat tray so just ignored us. Food was very ordinary and not worth the cost. Shame as a few years ago this was such a popular venue with good food.

Lovely venue, nice meals and great service.

Good service,good reasonably priced meals.
We nearly drove past it as there were no outside lights on which wouldnt help business.

Nice little place, beer was cold and staff were friendly. My meal didn't match what was on the menu but it was still lovely. Bought a tonne of meat raffle tickets but only members seemed to be winning ?

Nice quiet bowls club. Good food at a reasonable price. Numerous meat trays. Will come back again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. Perfectly cooked barramundi and prawns. The vegetables were spot on and the sauces were fresh properly kitchen made bernaise and garlic. Much better food and much cheaper than the pub.

I been going here since 1987. It's dying a slow death as it's members shuffle off either through old age or the gentrification of bruns.
It will either go bust or by some miracle hipsters will take control and turn it into a marrickville bowlo with hip staff and grungy bands playing with craft beers on tap. The old members would turn over in their graves but it's the only hope!

Great food, accommodated large group at the last minute and almost kitchen closing time. Greatly appreciated!!

This place came to our rescue for dinner after everything in town was either closed/too busy/had run out of food on New Years Day. A delicious mushroom burger and pulled pork burger. Very grateful!

After sitting waiting for an hour for food. The staff had written the incorrect number for the buzzer. Spent $29 on wilted soggy food sitting there for an hour. No apology just take your food an F off

Saturday night asian special and kids eat free is the best value family meal around

Bar staff friendly. Clean amenities. Meals average and very slow delivery for 2 meals (56min for burger and fish chips).

Went to this bowls club for tea it was supposed to be steak night with no steak lol order our "steak " at 20 to seven waited for over an hour when the misses went to see what was going on to find out they have no steak no apologies just arogants my warnings STAY AWAY FAR AWAY

Good venue, hospitality and good food at reasonable prices. Spent a few days at Brunswick Heads and it was the only place in area that we appreciated/enjoyed, you can keep Brunswick Heads, wouldn't go back there.

Very hospitable lady behind bar, free pool table, better prices for drinks than the pub in town.

Staff & especially chef, particularly attentive providing a delicious g/f coeliac friendly meal.A friendly, welcoming place.

The meals here are great. Not cheap but real value. Local seafood is cooked to perfection. Try some squid.

For the second year in a row, between Christmas and New Year, we have waited 2 hours for our evening meal to be served. Not good enough. Management should put on more kitchen staff when they know this is a busy time of year. We holiday here annually but won't be going back to eat here again, sorry.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, free WiFi, colouring books for the kids, air conditioning and inexpensive decent food. Locals playing cards and having fun. Lovely staff.
Come Fridays 6pm for the meat raffle and all the locals hanging out.

Perfect stop for a $10 lunch special if you're traveling in either direction.
Spacious and plenty of room. Lovely outdoor areas to eat. You could choose from either a casual dining space in the bar area to a more formal restaurant with table cloths and nice table settings.
Specials began at $10 and we chose the burgers at $15. They were average burgers and the chicken a bit dry. But overall okay. Hubby enjoyed the steak burger though. Both came with a side of yummy fries.
Tori the bar girl was lovely and drinks were cheap. $10.30 for a schooner of asahi and a glass of wine.
4 stars due to the restaurant staff who hocked loudly as we walked in and then spat in the bin. Not a good look!!
Still worth checking out as it has a great country atmosphere.
