3 PERSON AMBROSE CHAMPIONSHIP SAT 13/4/24 - A FABULOUS DAY
A huge contingent of 51 players competed for the championship on Saturday. Many thanks to all who helped on the day and in particular to the day`s sponsors - Dave Brown, Jim Parnell and Allan Benson.
Congratulations to Wayne Thomson, Charlie Matheson and Geoff Matheson for winning the day with a score of 55.4. Mick Gardiner, Wayne Pollard and Arrin Gardiner were runners up with 58.84.

THE 2024 BULAHDELAH LADIES OPEN DAY WAS A HUGE SUCCESS
Thankfully, Thursday March 21st was a beautiful day after a few days of unsettled weather. 52 ladies from 8 Clubs enjoyed our magnificent course, and all had a great day in spite of the not-so-great golf!
A Grade (0 – 22) winner was Barbie Gordon (Bulahdelah) with 33pts from Debra Matheson (HNGC) with 30pts and Lou Smith (Bulahdelah) with 28pts. Dale Rabett (Gloucester) had the best Scratch score (18pts).
B Grade (23 – 33) winner was Genevieve Dobbs (Taree) with 29pts from Gai Falla (Gloucester) with 28pts and Deb Gardiner (HNGC) with 27pts.
C Grade (34+) winner was Heather Aitken (Bulahdelah) with 35pts from Karen Serhan (HNGC) with 31pts from Julie Freeland (HNGC) with 30pts on a c/b from Ros Bourke (Taree).
Many of the ladies had never played at Bulahdelah before, and all were very complimentary about the course, the welcome and the food! Thanks to all who made the day such a great success.

Saturday March 16th was the final round of the Men`s Championships. The 2024 results are:
Club Champion: Arrin Gardiner (307gr).
A Grade R/Up: Toby Carroll (317gr).
B Grade Champion: Kevin Martin (355gr) from Jim Parnell (379gr).
C Grade Champion: Al Jobson (366gr) from Zac Watt (367gr).
The nett winners were:
A Grade: Brad Schlenert (296) from Matt Host (298).
B Grade: John Stellema (311) from David Shultz (314).
C Grade: Rod Norberry (296) from Steve Sharp (300).
The overall Nett Winner (Rick Moore Trophy) was won by Al Jobson with a very consistent 290nett over the 4 rounds.

WEEK COMMENCING 4th MARCH
On Wednesday March 6th, the ladies played a single stableford and Colleen Richards was the winner with 35pts from Lou Smith with 30pts. Lou also got the 8th NTP, but no one hit the 17th, so the jackpot will be carried over again next week.
The Vets hosted Harrington Waters in a “Friendly” at Bulahdelah on Thursday 7th, and the home team were the victors. Rod Norberry was the individual winner with 37pts from Wayne Pollard with 35pts on a c/b from Dave Brown. Pete Norman won the major raffle and Graham Smith won the breakfast tray. Thanks to the sponsors and organisers – a great day was had by all.

B Grade (13-18) winner was Jim Parnell with 74nett from Dave Shultz with 77nett. C Grade (19+) winner was Alex Reekie with 66nett from Rod Norberry with 67nett. Ladies` winner was Barbie Gordon with 67nett from Alison Benson with 70nett. NTPs were Toby Carroll (x2), Jim Parnell, Wayne Coleman, Jeff Crockett and Lou Smith and Meg South. Long Drivers were Marty Bramble, Dave Johnston, Steve South and Lou Smith. Steve Sharp won the jackpot.
